It is open during the warm months on Saturdays and Sundays and the number of vendors varies depending on the weather. People come from as far away as Connecticut and Boston to search for treasures The vendors are an eclectic cast of characters with wares ranging from antiques and junk to produce and baked goods. The days we visited there were about 25 dealers. Haggling is encouraged but these guys are pros. You want to get there early on Saturday to get the best selection of treasures. Sally, who run the market with her family, is friendly and keeps things organized. The restrooms are clean with plenty of hand sanitizer and flowers. There is plenty of parking as well. The coffee at the food trailer is good, we did not try the food.

However, in the last few years the market had become increasing politicized which takes away from the relaxing charm. A week after the last school shootings in TX, the market has several (I counted about four) booths selling gun-related paraphernalia, flags with AR-15 image saying "Trump for Guns", "F... Biden", etc. The market was more fun and charming when it only sold antiques, collectibles, handmade objects, and homemade/grown goods. Why can't the market return to this rather than increasingly represent the division, hate, and violence in the US?

I…read moreoffered the counter person five bucks apiece and he insultingly told me that one of them will cost $100 and the other one $40.. even the most amateurs record collector would laugh at such a ridiculous price for these trashed records. When I walked away from the counter, my wife overheard the shop owner and a customer laughing at us, saying that they could list them on eBay for $60 apiece. We resisted the urge to walk back and inform them that we were still in the store and can hear your insulting comments. Horrible experience, just keep driving past it!

The lovely proprietor has helped me put furniture in my car and has allowed me to leave things for future pickup when they wouldn't all fit at once. I spent hours here oohing and aahing over all the cool knick knacks! There were dozens of mirrors, cookie jars, old cameras, jewelry, lamps, tea things and more! The prices were a mixed bag, some high, some reasonable - but the tourists will pay the higher prices no doubt. This place is a must if you're in the area!
