On June/5/2025 We joined the 3 day trip covering Corning, NY, Watkins Glen State Park, Geneva, NY (Finger Lakes region), Whirlpool State Park, Niagara Falls (Horseshoe and American Falls) NY, and Boston, MA (Harvard College and local attractions). We switched from the 2nd day tour to the second part which covered Boston so we had two different tour guides. We spent the first and a half days with Vicky and the last day and a half with Raven Both of them were courteous, respectful, knowledgeable, friendly, and full of patience. Accommodation: the first night we were at the Niagara Inn was okay However, the hotel for the last night is less than desirable. Westford Regency Hotel and Conference Center is old, dingy has to Use old heavy keys to get in, the room feels like hunted house & the room feels creepy there were weird sounds in the room and every time U move the bed it makes sound. I couldn't sleep all night. luckily I had ear pugs with me. Took forever to turn on the shower. Honestly, we walked around all day, hotels were for resting for the night but convenience and cleanliness are crucial. My personal opinion: they should take Westford Regency Hotel and Conference Center off the list of hotels they use. The only good thing about this hotel was the Free buffet Breakfast at 6:30am. At last U don't need to eat the lobster for $40 ( Taste bad not worth it) at Quincy market there are is alot of other food vendors around. We recently took a 6-day east coast guided tour through tours4fun looking at the reviews and also recommendations from a friend. Here's our experience, review and what to expect. What to expect: Out of 6-days, 1st day you won't have any activity unless you have booked a morning or evening tour. Day 2 is fully packed with visiting different places in NY On day 3 and 4 there is around 5-6 hours of driving on an average On day 5 and 6 it's mostly driving. Good: Tour itinerary covers what is mentioned. It's good for the price you pay. Rooms are good. Tour guide stops at a place where you can get both veg and non-veg food. Our tour guide Sammy for day 1 was really helpful, friendly and explained everything well. We had a very good experience on day1. Bad: Every time you talk to a tours4fun representative with a question, their answer is 'your tour guide can answer that'. you don't get to talk to your tour guide until the first day. The customer is kept uninformed, because, depending on your tour guide, your concerns may or may not be addressed. Ugly: Our experience with the tour guide, Roger, was very disappointing. He was rude, biased, and made us feel targeted. Out of 52-54 people on the bus, around 20 spoke only English, while the rest were Asian, speaking either Chinese or both languages. Roger prioritized the Chinese-speaking group, making English speakers wait for explanations, cutting into our time to explore. He often spoke rudely, discouraging questions by saying his "energy is limited." My family of four was originally seated near the back (47-48 and 51-52) and remained there for most of the tour. On day 3 Roger said he would rotate seats, giving us a break from the seat. We were moved further back on Day 4, while others--especially Asian groups--remained in front. Our new seats lacked footrests and were over the rear wheels, causing severe back pain due to the bumpy ride. When I politely asked to switch seats due to pain, Roger refused and responded harshly, justifying it by our group number. Ours was group number 17 out of 22 groups. I pointed out the unfairness, but he insisted seat rotation wasn't a policy and it was up to him. The experience was painful and disheartening, and because of the Roger's rude and biased behavior, I'm giving this tour 1 star. read more

We just finished a 7 day tour with Jupiter Legend Corp from 10/1 - 10/7 (APTR7F). We spent 5 days in Canada which was amazing. The tour guide Jun Li was very knowledgeable, attentive, and patient. When some older folks didn't come back to the meeting point on time, he was genuinely worried and always able to find them quickly. In five days, we covered the Toronto area, Ottawa, Montreal, and Quebec City. All three of us really enjoyed the trip, The last day of our tour covered New York City. The tour guide Jenny was very knowledgeable about New York City's landmarks, and she was also very accommodating about whether people wanted to join each attraction or skip, and where the pick up point would be, etc. Overall, we had a great experience with Jupiter, and won't hesitate to join another tour with them and refer them to our friends and families! read more

I was there with my cousins who came to visit from England. Overall, it serves the purpose for them to get a feel of the local atmosphere and landmarks. The meal arrangements were hit or miss but a lot of them are not under their control but instead what's available locally. We switched from the 3 day tour to the second part which covered Boston so we had two different tour guides. We spent the first two and a half days with Jerry and the last day and a half with Sammy. Both of them were courteous, respectful, knowledgeable, friendly, and full of patience. Accommodation: the first night we were at Comfort Inn Shady Grove- Gaithersburg in Maryland. It's a two star hotel and it is ok. We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodation for the second night. It was Buffalo Marriott at Niagara, a 3-star hotel. However, the hotel for the last night is less than desirable. Boxboro Regency Hotel and Conference Center is old, dingy, and get this, no elevators. You need to walk upstairs with your luggages and the room arrangement is for the birds. Honestly, we walked around all day, hotels were for resting for the night but convenience and cleanliness are crucial. It could be just our luck. They have a lot of tours going on at the same time, I saw it first hand, and use a lot of hotels. My personal opinion: they should take Boxboro off the list of hotels they use. WARNING: Guide tried to leave 2 people behind at Yosemite to Die! The worst tour guides. We went on a Yosemite tour this week. First the tour guide did not provide us the stated water for the whole day While we were hiking at the national park. Luckily we brought our own water or else we would have had dehydration after a whole day of hiking w/o being provided the water. Then he tried to Leave an older couple at Yosemite who were lost!! They had No Water, No food and no way to find the meeting spot. This was an 80 year old couple who clearly truly could not find their way around. He knew exactly where they were on app location. He refused to go find them AND Threatened the rest of us that if anyone is late, he will leave them behind and that he would leave Us behind and sue if we didn't get on the bus. We adamantly refused to get on the bus until the members are found. After 1.5 hours just waiting and arguing, someone got a hold of his boss who yelled at him. He then finally went to go get them, they were only 15 minutes away. That old couple could have died out there on their own, people die at Yosemite all the time. Johnny Xu is the guide's name and he could not care less about people's safety. And apparently this company's policy is that it's Ok to leave people behind as he certainly did not think he would be fired for it as All other tour companies would. 3rd - the itinerary clears says dinner is not included. Johnny did not provide ANY advanced information on how we were going to eat. On the first night, the bus went straight to a buffet w/o taking us back to the hotel. He said "the bus will stay here, those who don't want to eat need to wait in the bus for 1.5hrs until people finish eating." The buffet is only 10mins away from the hotel and he refused to drop us off, basically forcing us to eat at this buffet he gets kickback from. Then, he tried to force us to eat at this buffet AGAIN the second night. We Collectively refused and went back to the hotel instead where we have many other restaurant options. Purchased a "2-Day Boston to Niagara Fall In-Depth Four" with Golden Bus Tours, who contracted with Jupiter Legend Corp. There was no Bus and no Tour Guide. The trip was in a van with 11 passengers and a "driver". Three seniors over 75, three full grown men and 5 women. The 10-hour ride to Buffalo consisted of two 15-minute potty breaks and 45 minute "fast food" lunch break. No points of interest were pointed out. Arrived at hotel at 5:30pm, their restaurant was closed. The driver announced leaving for the Night Falls at 7:30pm Less than 2 hours to drop our luggage, find a restaurant close by, Uber and eat. Next morning 8:30am loaded in van dropped off at Niagara State Park, as the "driver" never spoke with us a group some of us were confused, if we did not sign up for a attraction in advance it was too late. The driver became very irritated and when we tried to ask questions and he lashed out at us. The Maid of the Mist boat was at 11:30 and we were leaving at 1pm for Boston. The Food Court and restaurants did not open until 11am so once again no enjoying our lunch. The ride back to Boston with one potty break was pretty much in silence, while the driver was on his phone all the way back. The driver did not know how to deal with seniors, no understanding that we can't walked as fast or as far. The Falls were beautiful but the trip was not. read more

You guys need to be transparent. A lot of charges for certain places where there's no entrance fee. They just charge you extra. As a tour guide you should plan ahead and know if the site is open or not. Rather than asking people to pay for something that's extra for your pocket. One of the best and affordable Chinese bus tours I ever been to go to Philadelphia and Washington DC for 2 days (1 night) with my aunt, mom and sister. My tour guide, Jake is really nice, friendly, entertaining, helpful, intelligent, patient and knowledgeable while explaining the historical facts about Philadelphia and Washington DC I didn't know and learned a lot from him that it is really enjoyable, narrative and informative. He also definitely has a good sense of humor, a really good translator and he manage our time to sightsee Philadelphia and Washington DC really well and wisely. This company sold tickets for a tour in which a horrific accident occurred. There was at least one fatality and everyone else seriously injured. The driver was sick and did not rest the minimum number of hours required by DOT law. They were fined $25,700 by the federal motor carrier safety administration in 2017 for precisely this. Their tickets say they carry $5 million in insurance when in fact it was $1.5 - worse, they bought their policy from a crooked insurance company who was just recently declared bankrupt by the government and taken over by a special New York department that handles crooked companies such as Jupiter. We chose the YD8 8-day trip for our graduation. We had four people and spent over $8000 on the trip (excluding flight tickets and all other expenses). Half of our trip was a mess, and we spent at least 6.5 hours per day on the bus from the fifth day. The company could not afford the hotel price, so they kept transporting us between Montana and Utah three times! We crossed three states for a one-hour tour and went back to the starting point for hotel accommodation! We were arranged in different hotels, which were closed to each other, so we had to pack our stuff every day! Due to Yellowstone National Park's flood, our trip to Yellowstone and nearby attractions was canceled. The company split one day trip into three days to waste our time. On the fourth day, they refunded us $68 per person and asked us to sign our signatures without acknowledging any change in our trip. Our hotel was changed from a $ 400 vacation cabin to a $120 motel filled with mosquitoes. I even found a live cockroach on my bed. Also, the company has zero measures to take care of the people who had Covid 19. two of the guests got Covid, refused to keep a social distance, and tried to eat with us in the restaurant. I spent $100 to buy test kits and used them daily. Please enjoy your eight days bus trip with people confirmed Covid 19! After returning from the trip, we tried contacting customer service for a bit of compensation. They were highly unprofessional. They basically were a bunch of ignorant sitting in the office and copying/paste meaningless templates. After days of communication, they went mad and told us that we couldn't get anything due to the contract. At this point, I realized they didn't provide any type of contract at all. All we had was a colorful flyer. Most importantly, other guests from different travel agents got more than $1000 compensation for people of two. As a $1998 per person trip, they provided three "mystery" meals. The indigenous cuisine of the Americas was a chicken thigh burger with mashed potato. Yellowstone game combo included a small fish shared by ten people and one piece of toenail-sized venison. read more

I had a tour with this company and this 7 Day tour is suitable for those who love long distance road trip and it covers to many cities within the shortest time frame. You will spend a lot of time in the coach admiring the scenery. There is a mixture of tour passengers mostly from China, HK, India. We were fortunate to have Sammy as our tour guide. He is professional, friendly and provides tour narration in 3 languages (English/Mandarin/Cantonese) fluently. Nope. I first tried emailing them to work out my issues. They turn their behavior back on to you and make it your fault. Here's a detailed review of what happened with me so it doesn't happen to you. 1. Night tour charges with unclear explanation in absence of any ticket for the night tour The website clearly included the "night tour" in my itinerary (no optional ticket which they corrected a week after my questioning in absence of a satisfactory answer) for which the tour guide charged me $35 per person -- please note this is a public property, and tour guide told me I would have to go back to the hotel (we had no means of transport except the tour bus) or I had to pay for the tour if I wanted to go with the group and guide. A total of over 50 passengers were charged $35 per head for a night tour without a ticket placed on the property of Niagara Falls and a public property experience. This was supposed to be included in our itinerary and we were charged without an alternative. The guide kept shifting blame and claiming that the itinerary on the website is out of date (which is by no fault of the customer). 2. Maid of the mist / service fee and tips This behavior of demanding charges did not stop here. The tour guide clearly announced at the beginning of the tour that he will charge the service fee at the end of the tour. Instead, he stopped me and my parents from the maid of the mist queue, made us stand aside and wouldn't let us go even though I had already paid him for these tickets. The guide assumed I wasn't going to pay him his service fee because I questioned him about the night tour charges, and created a horrible, embarrassing situation for me and my family, forcing us to pay again for our maid of the mist tickets so he could adjust the prior tickets as his service fee, which was supposed to be paid to him at the end of tour, not before the maid of the mist. I wasn't given any receipt for the service fee payment either. This unreasonably rude and assumptious behavior is not acceptable from any tour guide who is responsible for providing a pleasant experience to tourists. 3. Delayed return bus because the first driver's sleep schedule wasn't appropriately managed Everyone on the tour had to wait for an extra two hours on the second day of the tour, because the night before, the guide did not manage time with the driver so he has enough time to clock in 8 sleeping hours. As a result, the department of transportation prohibited him from driving any longer, creating a significant delay and back ache for my father who had to sit for an extra two hours waiting for our bus. read more

The best tour I have been so far. I booked the Newyork city to Niagra falls tour . No negative moments at any point. Two amazing guides Allen and Andi with amazing safe drivers. Enough rest stops and very planned itinerary to begin with. No delays. Very responsibly handling all the tourist and checking and ensuring everyone is in bus after each pit stops. No rushing or hurry at any moment. Enough time to spend in Corning museum and Night Niagara view and Day view and Niagra fort . Stay at hotel overnight was excellent. Very friendly tour organizers and would recommend and definitely would like to do tour with other family members soon!! Currently on a 2 day Martha's Vineyard tour with guide Trista, the 1st issue is at 10am (day 1) we stopped at a rest stop and were told to get lunch because we wouldn't be having dinner until apx 6pm! We were also told to pickup breakfast (for the following morning) from the rest stop because our hotel wouldn't have breakfast available. We asked what hotel we'd be staying at and our guide stated "Reservations have not yet been confirmed". We requested to be notified with the hotel (as soon as she received confirmation) so we could figure breakfast out and notify our loved ones where we'd be staying; our guide then stated "No worries, there's a Stop & Shop next to the hotel"......but wait I thought you didn't know where we were staying! Approximately 9:45 pm on the way to the hotel we were made aware that the majority of the group would be at the red roof inn and the guide, the driver, " A Chinese family and a few senior citizens" would be going to a holiday inn. Keep in mind I was traveling with a group called "The Black Baby Boomers" (the group...a whole other disaster to be explained at a later date)....90% of them were senior citizens. The lack of transparency, the nickel and diming, the favoritism of certain ethnic groups made this an extremely unpleasant (and frankly disheartening) experience. The 2 stars were given only because of the comfortable couch (with a non working bathroom) and our guides ability to successfully defuse a disagreement between 2 individuals. read more

Like, where is the restroom for customer can be used? what time will be back or where to meet, they did not inform their customers at all, especially, the Tour guy, YING, he really did not care or take it into consider for people did not join their self pay programs. I travelled with this company last weekend. We took a 3 day trip to Niagara, Glen State, Washington DC and Philadelphia. Here is what I think: The tour is well organized and you get what you pay for. At this price, this is the best deal. The itinerary is packed to the minute to take you to the best places on the trip. + good itinerary + covers the main places for someone who doesn't have much time + clear instructions + the company was flexible at changing my pickup location twice + great price + good deals + it is relaxing in the sense that you do not need to plan anything. They take care of everything. - the toilet in the bus was broken and we were not informed about this before leaving. - not for the weak hearted or easy-going as this is a packed schedule - requires a lot of running around and you need to be able to walk fast - a little stressful as you need to return to the bus on time in order to follow the group but it is always like that on group tours - Philadelphia was just a 30 minute layover. We did not have any time to visit. They only covered 1 of the 3 promised locations in Philadelphia. Overall, it is good value for money if there are at least two of you travelling. [From a friend who wishes to remain anonymous.] This is gonna be long -- brace yourself. For better or worse, I've been on many (more than 5, fewer than 10) multi-day bus tours for Chinese-speaking tourists with my Asian family. They have all been pretty good, except for this most recent one (which was NYC, DC, Niagara Falls, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City, Boston, back to NYC). Based on this one, I would not even consider another tour run by this company, despite all the other high-star reviews by the others here. Like all bus tours, a lot of time is spent on the bus. This was expected & not a problem. The first real issue I had was our stop in DC. A chance to see 3 free museums! But only 2 hours in which to see them all AND buy lunch before reboarding. And it's the National Mall -- these buildings are FAR from each other. We walked in the pouring rain (probably normal for May in DC, but we wouldn't know, and nobody's fault) from museum 1 to 2, only to find a line-up of 100 people (low estimate). Time wasted walking back the way we came to museum 3 (space / flight). Shorter line-up, but like ten thousand kids on field trips. At that level of busyness, it's not a museum -- it's the ball pit at a McDonald's birthday party. Literally, running & screaming elementary kids. I don't have an issue with any of the things that are uncontrollable: weather, distance, line-ups. But our tour guide should've said "there are 3 museums, but only pick one. The one with the shortest line will be the art museum." Takeaway #1: The tour guide not guiding or giving any recommendations for what to do would turn out to be the central theme of this trip. That evening our dinner was an okay buffet. Given an hour to both eat AND to buy our breakfast for the next day. It takes at least 15-20 minutes for a group of 4 to choose our food, wait in line to pay, and another 5 minutes to walk to and from the buffet restaurant to the grocery store (both part of a strip mall). Including waiting for a table, we were really left with only 30 minutes to have dinner. I do not inhale food like a vacuum. I'd like to chew & enjoy the meal. Takeaway #2: At least for this tour, the itinerary was too packed. They over-promised and under-delivered. I'd rather see 3 things in depth per day than 7 things where I can only stand outside the building & take a few pics in 30 minutes. I'm already used to bus tours having packed schedules -- I know what the standard is. Even using that measurement, this tour was too packed to be able to actually savor anything. The included cities are too far apart; there's too much driving in a day to accommodate. Final egregious violation: paying $30-something USD for a lobster dinner in Boston. What do you picture when you hear "lobster dinner"? Some Red Lobster ad, probably: a crustacean smothered in butter, with mashed potatoes and a veg, in some clean, semi-high-end restaurant with tablecloths / cloth napkins / wine glasses, good service. Oh no, we did not get that. We got some below-average Chinese dishes like boiled lettuce and tomatoes with egg in a dingy 1.5-star restaurant that was moderately dirty, with slightly humid air that smelled like old furniture. REALLY?! I didn't realize it was possible to be so unhappy eating lobster. The Chinese seniors at our group table discussed how much better they could've cooked all the dishes. But I don't blame the restaurant. I blame the tour company for sending unsuspecting tourists there so they can collect their very-likely commissions. Without tour business, I can't imagine how this restaurant would survive. It was that bad. I get it -- commissions are part of the biz. Choose another restaurant! This really falls under Takeaway #1, but if the company forces the tour guide to push this restaurant, he can't exactly tell us not to eat there. I will add Takeaway #3: no wonder they want the patrons to choose & pay for all the activities on like day 2 of the 8-day trip, as well as why there are no changes after that. We only joined like 3 of the 11-15 activities, and we still managed to be screwed on 2 out of 3! If you don't know English, you're not reading this anyway. But if you do, my recommendation is do not join any of the activities that also have the option of paying retail at the counter. They will give you a list of everything. Spend that night at the hotel looking it all up before giving them an answer the next day. Many times the tour company charged us at least the same, and sometimes more than the retail counter rate for the activity. Imagine paying $15 USD when the counter rate was $12 CAD. The only activity on this particular tour I absolutely recommend is the Thousand Islands cruise in Ontario. There were also several in NYC (such as Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building) that we'd done before so we didn't partake. read more

Absolutely Terrible I had recently taken a tour with this company and had a terrible experience. For the 8 day trip, our tour guide was absolutely terrible. He should be fired forever. He was very rude and did not disclose any information, keeping to himself for the majority of the trip. On the final day of the trip, we were taken to the Olympic National Park. We were charged 35$ per adult, with a huge amount of people in our tour. However, we were not even taken inside the park! I had witnessed a separate group from a differing travel agent charged 200$ flat for the entire bus. Me and my family had been cheated, as the tour guide had taken our group to a FREE area without admission fee, yet charging 35$ a person. We were completely scammed. read more

I think our tour guide, Sammy, tried his best regarding the circumstances and he is quite knowledgeable about the tour. But it's the company itself I have an issue with. First, the tour bus is very old and malfunctioning. Microphone not working. Bus has no seatbelts and the windows aren't clean. Our bus broke down in the middle of the highway at night. The company discourages us from calling the police too. Some passengers walked out. Read the paperwork you sign because they won't refund your trip in case of a bus malfunction. On top of that, there is a lot of hidden cost on this trip. The price you pay doesn't include admission to different attractions, food and service fees. The guide also won't let you pay for attractions at site because it's much cheaper there than buying it through the company. Overall the price of the trip comes out to more than other more high quality expensive tour companies so please watch out before you potentially sign your life away in this unsafe and expensive tour company! read more

The service and staff (Advisors, drivers) for this company were very friendly and did their job great! However, the areas the flier/ advertisement said we would go, were below expectations in reality (restaurants, motels). We expected more from the restaurants and motels we were going to. The motel was not organized (because of a bad job from the motel staff, we ended up switching rooms more than 3 times) and the restaurants could be better. This is not on this company's workers but rather on the places we are bought to, we feel; our trip advisor and driver did a fantastic job!
