It took over an hour for half of our party to get their food, another half an other for the rest of us, and one of our orders never came even after asking multiple times. Well on a good note it looked clean! Other than that this will be my family's last time here. We placed our order, one large table 3 orders, they only put 1/3 orders in. When I said something they acted like we had never ordered and was not at all apologetic about it. After placing the order for a second time it still came out with errors. At this point kids and adults are too hungry to care. Let's move on to the games. 12 different games were either broken, needed serviced, or didn't function properly and should have been turned off but were not. This place has a monopoly over Champaign that could not be ruined. The best and only option for higher class of folks to come and grub out and drink. BUT it is ruined because of the customer service and OBVIOUS POOR MANAGEMENT. Some millionaires got together and establishes this awesome restaurant/bar/arcade/billiards and then they let it go to crap just like a rich dude in Florida who buys a yacht and doesn't know anything about boats. Shout out to whoever cleans your bathrooms, they are in great shape. Also the cooks are doing a great job. Some of the servers are GREAT! Recommendations; #1) fire that guy who does hiring and counseling of employees in front of everyone in the public. That is terrible leadership. There should be a more professional setting for these discussions instead of in front of customers and their families. #2) set up your arcade downstairs. Went to my daughters cast party at jupiters and I haven't been here since the pandemic. We had a room upstairs which was great. The pizza was good. The bacon Mac and cheese bites were great. The service was also good considering it was a large group. The place overall is huge. Three floors. The basement has a bunch of games for the kids including a few pinball machines. The second floor has a bunch of pool tables and a big bar. The third floor has pool tables and a smaller bar. A great place to watch games. Definitely would go here more if we lived anywhere near it. read more

Ordered a sprite, it had that musty taste. Like the nozzle of machine hadn't been cleaned in forever. Seems like they had not replaced the syrup in a while either. The musty taste overpowered any hint of sprite. Fail Wife ordered sex on a beach. There was clearly some ratio wrong here. It was a watery drink with a bunch of alcohol thrown in. Apparently more alcohol was supposed to make up for inability to follow a recipe.? Fail Ordered artichoke dip. It came out fast enough. What we got was a gelatinous mass. In it there were shards of cheese and chunks of artichoke. Im not sure what it was the was hold them together. As I remembered the top of the tip should be browned. As in, heated to the point where cheese melts. The plate was warm ish. The waitress was nice enough. She said it was just microwaved and they don't a broiler there?. I realized in the end why it came to the table so quickly. , that's because it wasn't cooked properly. Fail We order the margherita pizza. All the flavors were there. It looked nice. I'm guessing an experienced person preps these before hand. And all they need to be done cook them. Well the kitchen staff was not able to do that. The pizza warmed up. I am not sure if it was recently frozen and the kitchen staff had the goal of only taking the 'chill off' of the pizza? Fail We got a new sprite. They said they changed the syrup. I don't think they did. They gave us new artichoke dip. Still barely cooked. Gave up complaining. Wife then ordered a Bahama mama. At this point I was a bit drunk, because I had drunk several of the bartenders screw ups. 20 minute after ordering the Bahama mama, the waitress came by, she immediately realized the expediters didn't bring drink by, that was comped. Now it is 5 hours later and I am up late experiencing the intestinal issues people have when they eat partially cooked things. No reason to visit this place again. The glory days of Jupiter's are long in the past. This place had more in common with a poorly run Applebees than the Jupiter's of yore. Next time we want a margherita pizza and a few drinks, we'll just had down town to The Esquire. The atmosphere was ok. Apparently a 14 year old girl as having a birthday party in the bar?! and the girls 6-8..were running around taking pictures, listening to Taylor Switft. I thought it was sweet. I'll start out by saying our server was very nice and attentive. This is not a knock on the staff at all. The place is quite clean too and welcoming. My fiancé and I stopped by for lunch this past Sunday as we were driving home from Effingham, IL. She got a side salad and a Pizza Bianco. I skipped the salad and got a medium pizza, half cheese and half sausage/pepperoni/green peppers. I asked for the ingredients to be underneath the cheese (I don't like pepperoni being on top because it releases all of its fat and makes the pizza a greasy mess); they were kind enough to oblige. As for the quality, I don't know. It was kinda of a bummer. Not to sound like a snob, but I was born and raised on the south side of Chicago where some of the best pizza in the world is made (north side pizza is okay). It's tough to beat Chicago's SS but I have had amazing pizza across the country and this was not it. One of my favorite aspects about good pizza is that it truly is greater than the sum of its parts. It's been a while since we have eaten at this restaurant. In the past, the service was super slow. This time we were served quickly and our meal was delish! I got their wings. The sauces are yummy!!! So many places serve subpar sauces, not here! I am super prickly about sauces, as I don't like "bottle tasting" ones...these tasted fresh! And they didn't charge extra for each one I wanted to sample. Tender meat on the bone-in wings & drumettes. I'm gluten intolerant and am not sure if there is cross contamination in the oils, but I didn't get a reaction, so... The waitress made the entire experience a very pleasant one. I made a reservation here for a friend's birthday, requesting to sit outside and marking it as a birthday celebration. We were initially seated inside, but after we requested to move outside, we were moved outside to a dirty table with the lights off. We were later informed that the outside heaters were broken. It took 20 minutes to get our drinks, and had to request condiments, silverware, and plates. We had brought a cake for our friend's birthday, and were given a butter knife to cut the cake. We asked about candles and were told they didn't have any. We were then delighted to find a $10 cake charge, despite receiving absolutely no service related to the cake. Jupiter's was nice. I was there with a basketball group. I ordered food and drinks separately and was charged gratuity for my bill for 4 but it is noted on their menu so it wasn't an issue. The issue and reason for 1 less star is the server took forever to bring drinks. Our drinks came after our food after I had to ask and remind him. Other than that, everything else was fine. This is the BEST pizza place ever. Me and my best friend staid the Saturday of My 6th 2023 at the I hotel for his birthday weekend. His parents took us to Jupiters for dinner. IT WAS THE BEST!!! I ate here once in 2019 but it was better than what o remembered. Sausage on the pizza was AMAZING!!!! Best sausage I have ever had. Me and my friend play PAC man and a lot of other fun games. Restaurant review My son is always asking to go to Jupiter because he likes it soo much. When I ask why, he responds with I want to play the games! Unfortunately Champaign does not have any Chuck e Cheese or the equivalent so this will be the closest thing to an arcade. I would say that the games are quite limited and expensive. They did away with the tokens and replaced it with a swipe card. Up to this day I can't figure out how much I am actually paying for the games. My son's favorite would the race car on the first floor which cost 4 credits. Some of the games give tickets others are the classic sport games you would see at Gameworks. I am not impressed, but they have added a lot more games compared to what they had a few years back. The mini bowling alley is gone though. Now on to the main attraction: the food. I can't say that the pizza is spectacular. They use unique ingredients and sauces which you won't find elsewhere. If ind the thin crust dough to be similar a harder version of saltine crackers. Most of the pizzas I feel are under sauced, but that's my opinion. I have tried quite a few pizzas including the special K pizza (it was very dry and the white sauce does not compliment the toppings), salmon pizza ( if you like salmon/fish on your pizza this is a unique experience), pizza hawaii (the classic pineapple/ham pizza, however once again very dry), and the pizza preferito (salami, olive etc pizza, sort of reminds me a of scaled down supreme pizza). In my mind, I think I like papa del's thin crust pizza a bit better than the ones served here. I would say though that the wings appetizers are delicious. Always freshly cooked and multiple sauce selections, better than Buffalo Wild Wings. The one thing I would recommend is going on Tuesday for 1/2 price large pizza. You can't beat that deal. Used to love this place but not sure about the new management/owners. Took a friend from out of town here & we were quoted a 45 minute wait. Figured we'd go downstairs & play some games to pass the time. An hour and a half later still hadn't heard from them. Went back upstairs and they said it would be another 15 minutes. A little over 20 minutes later we finally got our table. Ordered our food ...and an hour later it still hasn't arrived. Flagged down our waiter and they went down to the kitchens to check. When they came back said the kitchen was backed up (at this point the restaurant was no longer busy. And from the way the waiter was acting we were pretty sure he hadn't remembered put our order in). At this point another waitress stopped at our table for refills and spent about 5 minutes going on and on about how the new management had fired a bunch of their best workers and that the kitchen had been screwing up all day. 25 minutes later the food came out and one of the pizzas was messed up. At the end of it all they gave us 1/2 off of the messed up pizza. Idk about you but after waiting over 3 hours from the time we got there til we got our (messed up) food- I expected a little more than half off of one item. Food tasted good. Came here for the pizza, and it did not disappoint. Very thin crust, great cheese, sauce and meat. The parmesan in the shaker was actually grated, not dumped out of a green can. Not sure if I've ever seen that before. Regardless, it's a good thing. Only knock that holds it back from getting 5 stars is the crust. It was a bit dry. Works good supporting 3 meats, cheese and sauce, but Papa Dels is better. On a positive note, the wait staff was very good. Service was quick and friendly, even on a football Saturday after the game. Ordered a second beer which never arrived. So I went to the bar and picked it up. Our server on this evening seemed more intent in taking care of her side work than taking care of us. They comped the gluten-free pizza. Our first time here and our last. Footnote. In the past I've had very good experiences at the downtown location. But long ago. It can be really packed on weekends, so beware you might not be able to get a seat. Also bar service seems like it can be really slow sometimes, even when it's not busy. Terrible service! Our waitress was non-existant. I had to go to the bar for silverware, napkins, plates, and all drink refills. The waitress even took orders from tables that were there AFTER we had been seated. It took 45 min to have our food order taken. Then we had to inquire about our food after we had waited an hour for the food to come out. When we inquired about our food and how long it was taking the waitress was surprised that we had ordered. It was like she totally FORGOT that we had even ordered and that we were waiting. Good thing they have a game center, to keep my child occupied while we waited. I do have to say, food was awesome! I had a meeting with my cycling club on Tuesday. It turns out that they have twice as much beer variety as what is shown on the beer menu! When we suggested to the waitress that they put something on the menu to indicate that they offer more beer than whats listed, she got quite snappy with us. In general the pizza here is pretty good. It's thin crust and really thin but not quite St. Louis style since they use real cheese. I'm a huge fan of garlic so I like anything with garlic as a topping. The Tuesday special is by far the best. Now that I know they have a pretty varied beer selection, it's even better! Our cycling group comes pretty often and they're always good about splitting up the check for us. read more

We were one of three tables filled in the place, and it was straight up noon (not a good sign to me). The restaurant is very open, with pool tables, a large bar and a fair amount of TVs. Our waitress was attentive and gave good recommendations. I went with one - the Enchilada Pizza with steak (other option was chicken, which I would have chosen but our waitress said the steak was the way to go). I could buy better $10 frozn pizza at the grocery store. The origional owner sold this and other once good places in Champaign to Green Street Realty. Green Street Realty should stick to fleecing students for rentals and stay out of the hospitality busines. Never again will Jupiter's get my money. 4.5 stars We got to Jupiter's with a large group and had reserved some tables in the lower level (which was "closed", we felt like such VIPs yo :P). I really liked the atmosphere, even though the basement level was empty besides us. Jupiter's is obviously a lot of fun. Our group mainly stayed at the billiards tables, but a few of us strayed to the games and liked them. Again, the vibe of the place was pretty great. We really liked the music that was playing. It wasn't top 40 stuff, but it wasn't stuffily indie or anything. It was just... good music. You knew the words to some of the songs, you liked the songs you'd never heard before. Good stuff. The pizza is really good! Wow. Thin crust little square slices (of a circular pie... which is a little awkward) that were so easy to inhale 20 of... I had some of the vegetable pie, the no-cheese vegetable pie, the barbecue chicken, the Hawaiian, and the regular cheese. I'm trying to figure out how much I ate, with each square being about 2x2 inches? About? And I ate............. many of those. Plus several of the awkward little round edge pieces. Our bartender was also very accommodating to the giant group we brought in. He made me ginger ale with some non-alcoholic bitters and Sprite. The bar looked very well-stocked, even though few of us could enjoy that. (Under 21 ftw!) He was great about giving us all our drinks, passing over the pool balls, and processing our orders. The pizza took a bit of a while (our second round did, anyway), but we were having a great time and didn't mind all that much. All in all, such a fun place to go! If you're looking for a great family-friendly place to eat that serves delicious food, you will not be disappointed with Jupiter's at the Crossing! I recently visited Jupiter's with my family - my husband and myself, my teenage daughter, my toddler son, and my mom - and we loved it! We're not from the Champaign area, so I was a little apprehensive about choosing a yummy spot to eat, but I stumbled on Jupiter's and I'm so glad we did. The Good: Our initial thought when we walked into Jupiter's was WOW...really! We were so impressed with the modern feel and large space - lots of dining tables, video games, pool tables, and TV's...lots and lots of TV's! Gotta watch those Illini games somewhere, right? So the space was great, and I was hoping that the food would live up to the fantastic venue. And I can tell you with absolute certainty that it does! We ordered chicken wings as an appetizer - SO GOOD, a specialty Gyro Pizza - unique and delicious, my toddler had a personal cheese pizza, and I had the Chicken Bacon Ranch Grinder - a favorite of mine. All solid choices. The Bad: We found nothing to be lacking at Jupiter's. Overall: The venue is spacious, the food is great, the restrooms were clean, and there were video games the kids could play while we waited. I'm from Chicagoland so I'm somewhat of a pizza snob. They're thin crust is excellent IMHO although my skinny wife and I can almost take down a large pizza no problem. Their breadsticks are hit or miss. Great place for large groups and sub-adolescent children. Also a great place for adult couples looking to socialize and enjoy a beverage and good meal. Jupiter's Pizza is a wonderful place to come whether it be a large group or a small one. I came here with a large group with about 21 people and they were so kind to help us out with combining tables and getting everything we needed on point. Our waiter Joel was great with what we asked for! He helped us with this being our first time with suggestions. Not only that, but he split the check in whatever way we wanted and that helped up a lot. He also helped us with problems when we were playing arcade games since some of the games were malfunctioning. Now the food. It was really good pizza, but I felt as thought it was just average pizza that you can get anywhere. The crust was a little burnt, but it was still amazing pizza and I was very satisfied. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and has a very family oriented feeling. There were lots of TV's for us to watch and it was fairly clean.
