Lamentable! We have waited many days for the installer to come to take the measurement. He arrived late at the appointment with no excuse and without a hello. He had to go back to the store to pick ip the vinyl sheet we had paid previously and was supposed to come back immedialtly to our house where we where waiting, 20 minutes away from the store. 2 hours later the store called back telling that we hadn't bought the glue and we had to go to the store to pay for it, refusing to give it to the installer thar we could have paid. When we went to the store we were very angry that it took them 2 hours before calling us and when we asked why they hadn't sold the glue with the vinyl sheet, the manager told us that we had refuse to buy it! We took our product and found another installer that came very quickly and we finally paid less... I don't recommend this store at all. read more

I had to sue this store and its installer.,,,and I won. The owner of this store is Tom Marino and his installer is Richard Herman. I bought tile from this store and their installer Richard Herman installed it over parquet flooring. within weeks it started to pop and crack and lift. Richard Herman destroyed my home. I had to hire someone to remove all of the tile just a dollar floor and Richard Herman installed improperly. I paid this company and its installer almost $3000 to install my tile. Richard Herman never returned my calls. he took the money and ran. just a dollar floor treated me like garbage when I called them for help...Tom Marino called me and insisted all they could do was send Richard Herman back out... there was no way I was letting that idiot back into my home. they ignored me, my letter asking for my money back and they failed to appear in court. this company doesn't care about anything except getting as much out of a customer as fast as they can. they are at the lowest scale of quality and professionalism. I was granted a judgment against just a dollar floor and Richard Herman. I will get my money back read more

Dollar Flooring in Orange City, FL. Not a good company to buy from, they sell you the promises and never follow through with them, and say we did not promise that when they most certainly did. I am an honest person and am trying to resolve a floor and glue problem that they sold us. I feel bad that a company will act in the manner in which they have towards a customer. When you sell the product your selling your name and reputation also, that should mean something about you, the company, your honesty and willingness to make it right. I will go elsewhere at more cost to me than i should have to put out but lesson learned. People be careful get it in writing. I will not recommend them I would look and check around for a reputable company that backs up what they say. read more

Well an update just a dollar store made sure and not going to make right or what they've done. When I bought the flooring from them the manager there Mike at the time which now there's a new one called Earl had convinced me to use their flooring guy and not somebody else. When they're flooring guy came Richard Herman of Richard Herman flooring just you'll see the other review the other post I have what a clown what a joke and every day I asked him for a contract I'll get you one I'll get you one I'll get you one I never got one this floor is falling apart and silent blew the manufacturer is saying it's the installation problem dollar floor is saying it's the installation problem and Richard Herman was an outside contractor so they're not responsible and they've been giving me the runaround now for a year maybe a little bit over I'm screwed. It took me 3 years to save for this flooring 3 years of sacrifice. Just go elsewhere just go elsewhere. Because if something goes wrong you'll never get anywhere from dealing with this store. read more

I bought my flooring here after I canceled my order with Home Depot due to my Flooring being back ordered and not told about it and poor customer service. Not only did I wind up getting Better flooring at a Better price, but the flooring was in stock and I was able to take it home immediately. Great customer service and my floor looks fantastic. Not at all pleased with this company. Bought flooring from their Orange City location a nearly a year ago. We are Snowbirds and had only used this floor for 3-4 months before heading back North. Left the a/c on, moisture bags, charcoal, everything recommended to alleviate moisture problem. Upon our return, we saw that the floor had "bubbled" in several places and had come apart at the center seam, leaving one side lifted about 3/4". Called and stopped at Just a Dollar Flooring only to be told that it was not their problem! As soon as the product goes out the door it becomes an issue with the installer! Well, the installer was hired by them, not us! Hoping to resolve the problem by purchasing another box of the original, we were told that our product was no longer available! (Although it was a "new" item just a year earlier!) No luck with the installers either....finding ourselves buying another vinyl floor already. So much for warranties and empty promises! No longer a customer. read more

You cant trust this guy he dose not stand by his word his recommended installers took 3 weeks to install used defected floor tiles even though there were 7 boxes left over. Then when I ask for refund for you xtra the manager refused. read more

I had a floor put down from Orange City dollar flooring and they had an outside contractor that put the floor down they did a very nice job but there is a few scratches in the floor Orange City the person I spoke to Mike said you could buy a magic marker to cover them up. It's ridiculous to cover up scratches from a magic marker when you pay over $1,000 for a flooring vinyl flooring. I will go elsewhere next time where they are very dependable Mike never called me back. Very independent person. read more

I would give zero stars if I could, or even a negative number. I found a laminate style floor that was perfect for my needs. They didn't have enough in stock. No problem, they can get it. I was required to pay up front. Acting in good faith, I did just that. They said it would be in 10 days to 2 weeks. Ok. After 3 weeks I started calling to get a status. My salesman would not return my calls. I finally decided to go to the store. The manager offered to bring inventory from another store. I accepted even though it was not enough to do all the rooms. I brought home what was delivered. I have installed flooring before so I know what to do. After opening several boxes I discovered that at least half of the planks were warped and would not fit together. I returned what I had to the store and they wrote up an acknowledgment of a return. They told me to wait 10 days for a refund. After 11 days I went in again looking for the refund that I was due. By this time they are clearly tired of seeing me. They said the check was in the mail. 5 days later, no check. Today I contacted my credit card company to see if they can do something. They said they will. We will see. These people do not deserve your business. You have been warned. Oh, by the way, the flooring that I returned because it was warped is back out on the sales floor waiting to be sold to the next victim...er...customer. read more

This story involves a 86 year old widow. This is what she had to deal with for months. Today 04-07-018 the installer has disappeared off the face of the earth and just stopped answering calls or text messages. Purchased, with the help of RIck, (one of the nicest gentlemen I have ever met). The entire order was for laminate for a two bedroom and tile for two small bathrooms ad laundry area. This project was part of a total house renovation. At the time of purchase Rick told my cousin (her house) that "they" had a really good installer. We were hooked up with a guy named Eric who owns the company "Floor Pro One, LLC". Nice enough guy on the onset and that was the end of the nice guy front. It turned out that "Eric" never did a stitch of work. He sub-contracted his contracted job from Dollar Floor to another floor installer. This is where the nightmare begins. The young guy Andy and two of his workers had the old flooring up and the new laminate in the living room, large dining area & two bedrooms done in a flash. Looking at the partially finished job... it made a really big difference in the look and feel to this empty house under renovation. So on to the two small bathroom that needed to be tiled. The guest bathroom was a poor excuse for a tile job. The grout lines were uneven...(I guess Andy didn't know to use spacers). We complained to Eric who said he complained to Andy (Andy was already paid) and Andy refused to come back and redo the sloppy install. Eric sent another guy...one of his P/T installers who had to chop up the new tile and grout and re-install the guest bathroom tile. A really nice and clean job. But now we notice that in every room the laminate was bubbling...some area between the doorways and in the kitchen and the area leading into the living room. Eric said it was because the house was without electric for a week due to the loss of power during & after hurricane Irma, and that it would go down. It didn't go down because it was installed without leaving any room for expansion. This nightmare did not stop. To date the rest of the round moldings were not all put back...the floors still have bubbles, the T molding between the laundry area (which was tiled) and the dining area was never done, nor the tracks for the sliding doors in one bedrooms; they weren't put back. We have hired someone else to come in and clean up the mess left behind by FLOOR PRO ONE. BTW after several phones calls to Rick, who again tried his best to fix things (I'm sure he is as sick as we are over this botched up job) I spoke with Nick's manager who told me point blank that there was nothing more they could do , plus had the nerve to tell us that...we chose to go with Floor Pro One as the installer and it was our problem. In all fairness....Dollar Floor has nice merchandise and good prices...working with Rick is easy because he is a nice guy and know his business....But stay away from Floor Pro One and Nick the manager....both don't know how to except the responsibility of a bad job. read more

These people are crooks, especially the salesman Rick. We are two seniors, who are much too trusting for our own good. We went into the store trying to beat a quote given to us by another store. Rick came up with a lower number, said multiple times that it included the installation. He then gave us a receipt about $300 less than the quoted price. Asked why. He said the price was for the carpet only. That we would pay the installer directly. After missing three promises on the date/time, an installer showed up and said the installation would be over $500. Checked the receipt issued by crooked Rick. Had no mention of the installation. Turns out I am paying very close to what the reputable dealer quoted. Called the store. Another surprise. The carpet was cut in the store and was not returnable. Please, please avoid these people at all costs. They are crooks and your only recourse will be to hire an attorney. They know all the ropes and will hang you with them. read more

I went here Saturday because it sounded "good". I went in and was far from impressed. These guy's are selling floor to customers that don't shop first. You get what you pay for. First $0.99 8mm laminate without a pad is a ripoff. The $0.99 hardwood that's on top of the boxes is hand picked. Pull out some pieces for yourself!! This "value grade" wood is seconds. It's split in the middle of the board, has cracks in the finish, every board is 8"-15" long, has huge knots or holes in it. Shop elsewhere for first grade products. read more
