Our technician, Izzy, was a very nice gentleman. He was kind, knowledgeable and did a nice job. Cons: 1. Our technician did not have the CPVC to complete the job on Saturday night. He was able to put a CPVC cap for the night to temporarily fix the problem for the night but had to come back the next morning. 2. Because our technician did not have the materials (basic parts), we were charged $150 per hour for the technician to drive to a store to buy replacement parts. This drove up the cost of time/labor. For 45-60 mins of actual work to fix the plumbing problem, they charged $262 for labor. They reused the same black value (in the picture) that we had on the house so the only parts needed was the CPVC. Total cost was $292 when I believe it should have been more reasonable - $150 (hr minimum) + $30 in parts. Up-charging customers for addition time because your technician did not have basic CPVC parts on his truck is ridiculous. Tri-Care is a great choice when you are planning future plumbing needs (I'll likely use them again) but for an emergency service, make sure to provide as much detail (i.e. - send pictures, be extremely detailed when requesting emergency services) to prevent running into my situation/circumstance.

Wanting to eliminate every possible cause, we proactively purchased a new kitchen faucet because we understood that sediment buildup in an old faucet could potentially contribute to low water pressure. On July 16, a plumber came to our home and charged $250 per hour to install the new faucet. Replacing the faucet did not solve the water pressure problem, and the plumber was aware that the issue remained when he left. The plumber explained that he first needed to determine whether the water pressure device belonged to the city because working on city-owned equipment could result in a fine for the company. If there was uncertainty about ownership, we expected the licensed plumbing company to pause the job, verify ownership directly with the city, and then return to complete the repair if appropriate. Instead, we were told that we needed to contact the city ourselves, which ultimately led to a second service call and an additional charge. We scheduled a second visit for July 30 to finish resolving the water pressure issue and to straighten the newly installed faucet, which had been left uneven. After we contacted the city and confirmed the equipment was not city-owned, the plumber completed the repair and restored the water pressure. In the end, we purchased a new faucet and spent more than $600 trying to resolve a single water pressure issue that should have been properly diagnosed from the beginning. This was not two separate plumbing problems. It was one unresolved issue that required the plumber to return and complete the original job. Between both visits, the plumber was at our home for less than two hours combined, yet we were charged an additional $250 simply for returning to finish the work. We do not believe it is reasonable to charge customers a second service call to complete a repair that was never resolved during the initial visit. When my husband discussed our concerns with the owner, he explained that their hourly pricing was competitive, that his plumbers were highly experienced, that the company has been in business for 40 years, and that plumbing is becoming a lost trade, which will likely continue to drive prices higher. We never questioned their experience or the value of skilled trades. Our concern was the lack of a complete diagnosis during the initial visit and being charged for a return trip that could likely have been avoided if the job had been paused until ownership of the equipment was verified. We chose this company based on a friend's recommendation and because we believed we were supporting a veteran-owned business that reflects Christian values. My husband is also a veteran and a Christian who works two full-time jobs to support our family. Rather than having our concerns addressed, we felt we were being told we should simply be grateful for the amount we were charged, which was disappointing. A company earns repeat customers by standing behind its work, communicating clearly, and taking responsibility when a problem is not resolved. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.

The new ac unit would not cool the house even with new insulation installed. Temperature was set at 76 degrees but the house was at 80 degrees. We let it settle like she said but it was still not working after a few months. I attempted to explain to the owners that initially after the new ac was installed and it was not working, I was told it's probably the line and there might be a leak. After multiple attempts and appointments and the line being busted by them, we paid for a new pipeline to be installed. The ac unit is still not working to this date. We are NOW being told it is probably the AC unit, not the pipeline by the owners, and now it's after the one year warranty. Though the technician found nothing wrong with our unit.) We are left with a new ac unit and new pipeline that is NOT cooling our house. We paid total over $5,000 and it is NOT working. We paid another $75 and nothing was done or fixed. VERY FRUSTRATED!!!
