The website is easy to use and I appreciate the descriptions of the scents - so helpful since I'm not there to smell them in person. I recently purchased over $100 worth of items and did get free regular shipping. The items were at my door in 4 days. My postal person did leave the box upside down even though the package had a "this side up" sticker on it - so maybe put that sticker on the bottom of the package so people will see it??? LOL There was packing material in the shipping box, but just brown paper. The candles did not break but maybe bubble wrap would be better protection? My order was correct and I love that the business is still small enough to have someone using a pen & check box system to indicate which candle scent is in each box. The matches work great - they light on the first strike. I lit the fern candle right away and my house smelled cozy like a forest. Thank you!

Wasn't written on the receipt, on the website it states quote - " Under Australian law, we are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind, however, you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem. This is when the item: * has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it * is unsafe * is significantly different from the sample or description * doesn't do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can't be easily fixed. " When I quoted this website policy to the store associate underlining that UNDER AUSTRALIAN LAW they aren't required to do returns, and it's all confusing he said " well we are an Australian company" Lol - Sorry to break it to you but you are a store not an embassy- Australian laws don't apply here. NYC law clearly states a consumer needs to be clearly notified of a no return policy. All of this seems extremely confusing- also a final sale policy evokes a sense of no trust, closing the door for customer and brand communication. A silent no return policy or more like " we pick and choose what we want to return" policy is when brands don't put consumer needs first. Won't be supporting this brand any longer - I only support brands with good morals .. not their own no bards money making agenda.
