Mostly I want a drive through dry cleaner. I decided to give the laundromat a spin (see what I did there!) So, it's been a long time since I've washed laundry anywhere but at home. I showed up like a rookie with a ziplock bag full of quarters. These new laundromats use cards like Dave and Busters. There's a kiosk to purchase and load money on to the card and you're all set. Again, I haven't used a laundromat in a long time. I really can't speak to fair prices for washing. I had linens and blankets and used the 55lb washer for those and with hot water and heavy wash it cost me about $13.50. The standard machines were about $3, or just a little more for heavy washing and hot water. The dryers are gigantic and held two full size sleeping bags, loads of clothes, and sheets and towels. It took me about 2.5 hours from start to finish. The space is fairly clean as far as laundromats go. The bathrooms were also surprisingly clean. There are vending machines for snacks and drinks. There are small spaces to bring your work. Only downside is there were no outlets, so you'll have to be charged up or have a portable.

I explained how disappointed I was because when I dropped off the garments, there was no mention about having to replace the fabric of the belt loops or completely altering the back of the skirt where the zipper was. She asked what she could do to make it right. I could tell she really cares about her business and customers, as well as the quality of work they produce. I explained that there wasn't much because of how altered they both were but instead, to make sure her parents fully understood what the customer was wanting and not to be afraid to say no if they couldn't actually do it. She agreed and again, couldn't have been more apologetic. This was a learning lesson for both parties and I know how to move forward. In the beginning, she asked if she could give me a refund. I declined at first because I wasn't seeking one but instead, was really hoping something could be done about my clothes. After a few phone calls, I decided I'd go ahead and take it. Prior to this, It had been a while since I've brought something to them but because this was handled so professionally, I'll continue using them but for dry cleaning only. She is very friendly, helpful, and so quick to get your laundry back to you should you drop it off to be cleaned and folded. The machines here are in great condition with multiple sizes to choose from. As with everything in this world, the cost of doing laundry is high, but I managed to do a load for about $7. I didn't have time run the dryer twice like I have at other places. My clothes came out fresh and clean. There are books and chairs to pass the time. I felt pretty safe here even after dark. All in all, this is a pretty decent laundromat. It's clean, well-lit, and efficient for doing laundry.

But about a month ago they cleaned a black and white dress that said dry clean on the label but clearly wasn't meant to be dry cleaned. The white part of the dress came back and was ruined. The owner was amazing to work with to fix this problem. He offered to call the company or manufactuer for me. I decided to return the dress to the store where I bought it. The store ended up ordering me a new dress. Oddly enough the dress I got back from the store was no longer a black and white dress but a nude and black. Very clearly not the cleaner's fault. Since I knew that Drama Clean had such great customer service I took my wedding dress there. I got it back today and they did an amazing job and once again they had amazing customer service. Dry cleaning may not be exciting and glamorous but if you don't want to worry about your clothes being ruined, Drama Clean has your back. I definitely won't ever need to write another review for another dry cleaner.

However, when she began removing her clothes, my belongings started falling out with hers, proving that my items had been left in the machine. Rather than admitting her mistake or apologizing, she responded with a rude, disrespectful, and confrontational attitude. Employees should not be removing customers' belongings without permission, and they should certainly not be dishonest or disrespectful when confronted about it. I expect this matter to be taken seriously and addressed appropriately to ensure no other customer is treated this way.
