The guys were great however they arrived outside of time scheduled and it is waaaay too expensive! Not worth it! What they determine is 1/4 truck or 2/3 truck, or whatever, is debatable and subjective to the guys there. I was ripped off. WOW, did I luck out by choosing "Just Junk" to remove some furniture, boxes and a few large bags. I did a Google search and I called them at 9:30 a.m. Not only could they come that day, but were finished by 11:15 a.m Todd and Isaac were absolutely professional, courteous, and very friendly. First time using them and I was not impressed. Way more expensive then they claimed to be. I'm not a cheapskate by any means. And I believe That this kind of service deserves an decent price. They showed up with a truck that was a quarter full. They packed the truck like it was their first time. Even left a couch cushion from my old couch after they left. I should have done better do diligence when looking at the web site. They didn't have one bad review which I should have seen as a red flag. First look everything looks good and friendly staff. Then come the quote... they tell me it's a full truck after the were finished I check from my roof top the truck was 2 third full. They remove only $20 from the full price! also it was a pick up curve side and I didn't get my 10% off. The first time I used them: Got the quote (I overestimated my load just to make sure I could afford it), booked and waited. When they showed up I had a dismantled kallax shelf, roughly 30 10x10 collapsed cardboard boxes, and a bunch of packing waste. The quote online was about 200. When they showed up it was more like 250 despite it being a small load, but I just needed them gone Those guys were really helpful, despite the final cost. Second time: I had a regular Rubbermaid garbage bin, 15 10x10 collapsed cardboard boxes and an exercise bike. I again, overestimated the load (about 180) booked and waited. I put them in the hallway so they wouldn't have to trek through my house given covid. The guys show up and quote me $300!! They knew I wouldn't want to put all that stuff back so they overcharged me. I asked for the coupon discount and the guy says "what coupon?" I show him the promo and he says he doesn't know anything about that. Shocker. Long story short don't use this service if you want to stick within a budget. The quote is never in the same range as the final cost and their promotions are useless. read more

Terrible. Quote to pick up 20 bags of garbage at $650, and they wouldn't take anything from in the house. I was clear that it was a hoarding situation, and they treated me like I was a lesser person. Add to that, I had to actually bag some garbage because god forbid they touch it. 10 minutes and $650 is absolutely disgusting. The very kind neighbor was helping us, but I have put in a complaint because that is just inexecusible. They are flooding their website with only positive reviews, but they are crooks and judgemental. Would not recommend. read more

I'd had a good experience with a previous pick-up by a different location, but this time it was awful. The website says that they donate usable items to charity. I even called before the pickup to confirm this. However, when the the crew arrived they tossed perfectly good desks and chairs from my porch into the truck, destroying them. They were, however, careful enough to load bulky items - like chairs and desks - first, so that they could then put flat items like large sheets of plywood on top and claim that the truck was "full" when the corner of one sheet of plywood reached the top. They generously returned for the rest of my load, which to my eye fill about a quarter of the truck but which to their more expert eye represented 3/4 of the truck. They overcharged me accordingly. Will never use them again. read more

This is a dishonest, horrible company. They literally lie and will overcharge you. I had a very small itemized load of furniture to be removed, that had been moved by myself into my narrow condo hallway and was ready to go. I had the opportunity to see inside one of the two moving vans that arrived when they were backing in to pick the items up. But for a small number of flat iron bars lying down within the truck, it was completely empty. Two removal men came, picked up my furniture using two dollies, no disassembling was even required. They offered to close the door downstairs for me upon leaving, so I thought nothing of it and did not see the furniture when it was placed in their truck. They claimed it took up the entire space and charged me for a full load!! This was literally impossible. A quarter of the space at best. My mistake is that I had no photographic proof. When I called to address the gross over-charging, I was told by the representative that he would have to "take his employees' word" over mine! Audacious! My advice, if you want to risk your money on such a dishonest company, get PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE of the contents of their truck(s) both before and after they are filled with your furniture, as well as pictures of the entirety of your belongings that are to be removed, otherwise you will likely just be paying for their gas as they fill their trucks up with other people's belongings for removal after yours. I have never written a review before, let alone a negative one for anything but my dealings with this company warranted the warning to future suckers/ customers. read more

Outrageously expensive! Workers are friendly & personable, but the pricing seems to bear less relation to the load being collected than it does to their desired profit-margin. They did 3 quotes for me over the summer. Each quote related to very different quantities and types of material, however, in all 3 cases the quote came in between $490 - $500. How is that even possible? There appears to be no standardized pricing, and guys appear to be winging-it when they offer the quote. My advice: stay away from these characters. read more

I was helping a friend clear their house. Just Junk's price was competitive-what I liked about it was that it was 'firm'-nothing hidden. They were on time-yay. Liam and Phil were quick and efficient and took away 2 truckloads as per their quote. Before they were finished they asked me to check around, and when a few items were pointed out-they removed them without a problem. WRONG they use VERY small trucks that's why they overcharge they only took 4 items and charged me 500 dollars its ridiculous I am not going to use them for my second removal I found a cheaper company and they will get rid of way more. They came to pick up my junk 3 hours late without an apology. I only had a mattress set on my driveway and they said it would take up 1/6th of their truck (which I saw later was already full) and said it would cost 180 + tax. I showed them the price online was 150+ tax for driveway pickup and they said that its actually more than 1/6th (changed their minds midway). When I called customer service, they said they would rectify the situation but never got back to me. Overall a horrible experience... dont hire them for your junk renewal. read more
