You can't miss this place! Located in Depew, it boasts a barn-like facade and a sizeable parking lot. Lots of spaces up front so taking your bottles and cans in is made even easier. Inside, it's eclectically decorated and full of fun knick-knacks, so you'll have plenty to look at while you wait. And the most surprising thing: it is pristinely clean! No nasty smells or gross sights. The employees here are top-notch, too. They are very kind and accommodating -- if you need any help bringing your cans in, they'll give you a hand. And they're super fast-moving as well. I could never keep the numbers straight in my head, so I give them props for being so good at mental math! If you find yourself with a bunch of bottles and cans to trade in for some nice cash, I'd highly suggest coming to Bud's Bottle Barn. You can't beat the service!

Be back in an hour(go back, sign still there nobody there) It is very annoying to load your car and go during their posted hours, only to have them not be open.. My Uncle has expressed the same frustration, as have others in the area I speak with. Now for when you do get in. The time it was open. 5 stars plus. The guy was fast, friendly. It was the best, and easiest return I've ever done. If I did not always find them closed during posted business hours they would get 5* without a doubt. Trying again tomorrow, fingers crossed.

This time I had LOTS so I thought I'd give it a try. This business is unusual in that the business operates out of the building's side entrance. Parking is adequate, especially since the turn over rate here is surprising. I was met at the door by two very friendly employees who explained how this system works. They do everything. Just hand them the bags and stand back. The system operates so quickly that I was just barely able to keep up bringing bags in. The system is totally automated. Once the workers empty the bags into the sorting area everything is automatic. It's really amazing to watch as the bottles and cans are arranged and processed to a conveyor belt that takes them away. Everything is counted by computer. When finished, you're given a ticket that you take to a window where you are paid. Start to finish, 779 bottles and cans were processed in 6 minutes including getting paid I will never go anywhere else again.

I have an area in my basement where I keep metal waste. Just household knickknacks, e-waste and decommissioned appliances I've set aside over the years b/c I know they don't belong in the garbage. ANYTHING that contains metal, this place will accept them. Things I had were: - USB phone charging cables - Old pots & pans - Broken small appliances ie. electric kettle, hairdryer, iron, rice cooker, hand mixer - Christmas lights from the 90's (lol) - Burnt out monitors x2 - Rusted rotors I'm all for recycling initiatives. If it doesn't break your back transporting the items then I think it's a simple chore to do to help the landfills. I've been to other metal recycling centers but many of them seem to pull numbers out of thin air which doesn't earn my trust. I found Triune through forums, read great reviews all around so I thought this time I'd give them a try. Location is right off of 401, super convenient. Nothing fancy. It is literally a junkyard. Piles of scrap metal all over the place. Dirt road (lol the guy behind me came in his sparkly clean Porsche, so yeah.. don't do that!) But as messy as the place may seem, they have a system in place, even a POS system (see receipt) which super impressed me! They took each item as it was, I received no judgement here, not like some places where they'll give you attitude for bringing in something small or low quality that's "not worth their time". I'm very pleased with their assistance and service. I will definitely come back to recycle here again. }} How-to: Drive to the end of the road, you'll see their sign. Upon arrival, park as close to the building as you can. Grab a shopping cart, load your items, and they'll help you move the cart up to the loading dock with a forklift. From there, they'll weigh items by category and you'll receive your payout. Easy. Receipt included.
