I was looking for a quick vegan-friendly meal and discovered Just Love Coffee & Cafe because it was conveniently located near my office. I placed a curbside order for the Avocado Toast with a side of scrambled eggs. The Avocado Toast was excellent, fresh, flavorful, and definitely the highlight of my meal. I would gladly order it again. The scrambled eggs, however, were overcooked for my taste and had already been seasoned with salt and pepper. Since I prefer to season my own eggs, I think it would be better if the restaurant left them unseasoned and provided salt and pepper packets so guests could season them according to their preferences. Also, there weren't any eating utensils in the container either. My other concern was the curbside pickup experience. There didn't appear to be a designated curbside pickup area, and I had to repeatedly blow my horn so the person could locate me where I was parked. A clearly marked pickup space or a more efficient notification process would greatly improve the customer experience. Overall, the food, especially the Avocado Toast, was very good, and I would return. With a few improvements to the curbside service and a little more flexibility in how the eggs are prepared, the experience could be even better. read more

Iced cookie butter latte!!! Perfect!!! Not too strong .. perfect balance of flavors .. not overly sweet which is how many shops prepare and it just drowns the flavor of the espresso .. anyway I ordered the large and it comes with 3 espresso shots - Since I don't love super strong coffee I requested the 3rd on the side but ended up using it anyway as it was perfect with all 3! The espresso was not bitter and had a wonderful flavor .. and smelled divine .. there were several other offerings that I'm eager to try later.. Came here after going to the farmer's market. Got a couple of drinks here, and that was it. The drink did take a bit to get done, but I guess that's what happens when there is a farmer's market in the same parking lot - things can get busy. I got a toffee ice latte drink; the toffee was a bit overpowering for my taste, but overall not too bad. Looking around while I waited for my drink, I noticed a few people were there to study or were on their laptops. Hopefully, I will get to try their food one day. The inside is decently sized. A few tables are spread out so you aren't too close to someone, which is always great. It has a bright atmosphere to the place. Let them know we were there to pick up our previously placed order, and were told to sit and wait. Waited over 30 minutes for two coffees while others who came after us received their items. Was told by the woman working the pick up counter that they would bring our items to our table. When we checked on the order at the counter a half hour later, we were handed two now cold coffees and dismissed. Was it busy? Yes. Were we patient? Yes. The food here was excellent, and we got a couple of specialty drinks that were also quite good. The service was quick and when we let the staff know it was our first time in they were very friendly and helped us find things on the menu that our incredibly picky children would enjoy. We especially appreciated that they had games and puzzles available to keep the kiddos occupied while we waited. My only complaint is that this place was pricey! This place is a hit or miss, if you dine in, food is great and all, if you do takeout they always miss something, last time I ordered a chicken biscuit and I got a cheese biscuit, no chicken at all, this time I placed the same order, made sure the right options were selected, and there was no gravy at all. I randomly found this place on my way from HEB. I don't know how I've missed all this time, but I'll be back. I love the vibe, it's so chill. First visit to this cafe. Sunday morning and no line but some tables and other seating occupied .Ordered coffees, cranberry orange muffin and breakfast burrito. Burrito was delivered to the table, the rest was taken away from the cashier. Muffin needed to be heated. Very cold and somewhat gummy texture. Burrito was just ok. Veggies were sufficient but flavorless - maybe previously frozen - definitely not heated before putting in the burrito. The server recommended and I ordered the avocado toast and was really bummed when it arrived. Poor presentation which included one small piece of bread with some smashed avocado & some feta cheese on top. There were a few tomatoes and cucumber slices on the plate too. No red pepper flakes or balsamic drizzle. Just incredibly boring and little to no flavor. My friends had waffles and liked those, so if I ever go again, I'll definitely order something different. Coffee houses needs to have coffee that has caffeine in it. Coffee houses should have all the Fixin's for coffee such as oat milk, almond milk, skim milk, 2% milk, whole milk, half-and-half, milk, rather than just a half-and-half . Cinnamon, too. Kind of like you see at QTs but it shouldn't be less than what you see at QTs or 7-Eleven . I think if a person orders food and has a number on their table. Their food and drinks should be delivered rather than their food gets delivered and you sit there waiting for your coffee, and then later it is sitting on the counter. Or maybe just skip the whole number system and call the people by their name for their food and drink order. The food is pretty good though. The service is great but the last 2 times I have gotten an iced coffee from here it just tastes so bad! The first was their pumpkin spice (I couldn't finish) and today their peppermint mocha (I took one sip and nearly spit it out). I didn't know why, then today I realized I think they need to clean their ice machine or they use bad water or rancid sweeteners. Something has changed for the worse. Had a weird experience today at Just Love. We ordered a Hunka Hunka Waffle, bananas and peanut butter. Got the waffle, split it onto 2 plates. Then noticed that there was no PB. Went back to the counter and explained that there was no PB and the young lady says "it should be on there". I said "yes, but it's not. Can I get a tiny cup of PB?" she said "can I see it?" Uh... yea... I go get the plate with half a waffle, she looks and agrees that it in fact has no PB. She then asks for the plate so that she can have them put PB on it. I said "no, it's only half the waffle, can you just get me a tiny cup of PB please?". She stormed off for the PB. I took off one star because we sat at the left end of the bar and instead of just asking is what we would like to order (as my previous experience with a very friendly server), the girls ignored us completely. We've been to Just Love Coffee Cafe a few times before and loved the food each time. But yesterday morning's visit was slightly different and disappointing. I brought my new service dog (a golden retriever), who was calm and well-behaved while I waited for my to-go order. A woman standing behind me, another customer, asked if she could pet my dog. I allowed it briefly. She knew a little bit of American Sign Language, which was cool. I believe the employees assumed she was with us because they told her to tell me that my service dog wasn't allowed inside and that I needed to leave. I explained, through her, that my dog is a service animal. According to ADA law, service dogs don't need to wear a vest or carry special tags, though staff are allowed to ask what task the dog performs. I told them I was Deaf. When my to-go order was ready, the employee handed me the bag, pointed at my dog, and started speaking to me even though I had already made my disability clear. I suggested using a pen and paper to communicate, but he refused. He kept speaking and pointing at my dog, which made the interaction even more uncomfortable and weird. None of the other staff stepped in to help or find a better way to communicate. My deaf friend said maybe the employee was on the spectrum which might explain the rigidity, but still, someone else could've stepped up. Honestly, I laughed at how ridiculous and awkward the whole thing was, but I was also embarrassed. Please train your staff accordingly. Thanks! read more

I decided to try again, everything on the menu is carb loaded, and while they can do scrambled eggs, they can't do an over medium egg, so since I didn't want any bread or carbs, the menu doesn't have anything else to offer. Stopped in here to grab a coffee today and try a new place since we moved to this area. The staff was really nice but there was a lot of confusion about what they have available and also how to ring anything up. I opted for the easter special "peeps latte" and everything in it cost extra. I assumed ot would be similarly priced to the other specialty lattes but it was $5.25 for a medium latte +$1 for the foam and +$0.50 for the syrup bringing the total cost for one medium latte to $6.75. My cup was only about 3/4 full as well. It was good but not super hot and not worth the price in my opinion. My boyfriend isnt a coffee person but asked me to get him a frappe and lemon load assuming I was going to starbucks (lol) so i asked if they had anything similar and the lady suggested their coffee shake. I opted for the "toffee coffee" flavor which is one of their signatures and is supposed to taste like a snickers. I also got him a lemon poppyseed muffin for $3.29. The shake had a good flavor but was more of a coffee with a little ice that had been blended than a "shake" per say. This was $6.75 as well. read more

Tried Just Love Coffee Cafe for the first time. I have mixed feelings about my order. First I ordered a larger drink and it looked more like a small. Disappointed with that cause the drink was almost $4. For food I ordered the chicken dippers $10 and syrup. It was okay. I liked that the waffle was wrapped around the chicken. Reminded me of a pigs in a blanket. I had my food delivered through Door Dash so one recommendation when it comes to drinks is to make sure they are secured 100% so the Dashers cannot access people's drinks.
