This was my first time here, I've had it bookmarked for a while. I met my friend for coffee at 8:30 a.m. on a Friday morning. When I arrived there was one table open in the front and several open in the back. We wanted indoors because we were both going to be working during coffee and convo. When I walked to the back I noticed it was a little smoky in the dining area and smelt like fried food. So I went back to the front and grabbed a two-seater table. That smokey smell gives me instant headaches, and gets all in your clothes and fresh washed hair. And that's exactly what it did They may need better ventilation in the kitchen and find a way for the kitchen smoke to escape and not go into the dining area. Anywho, We both ordered at the counter. I ordered the horchata chai latte with a shot of espresso. I also got the breakfast taco. The horchata chai was super sweet, So I don't think I'll order that again. The breakfast taco was good but didn't have a lot of flavor without the added hot sauce. The hot sauce does have some spice kick, so if you can't handle spice you've been warned I liked it! This is such a cute location and everyone was friendly. I don't know if I'll go back only because of the Smoky smell coming from the kitchen and staying on your clothes and in your hair. I came here with friend to catch up and it was my first visit. There was a Galentine's Party scheduled, so we wanted to plan it around that as well. It was pretty busy for a Friday even before the event was scheduled to start. A very cute set up, but we only saw the setup; I'm not sure where the notes were. We ordered our items and were so glad to snag a seat inside; because it was still cold out. We tried the berry latte and the cherrylicious latte. They were about $8.50 for a 16oz, iced. They were very sweet, which I like but not sure I would go back for. They also have flights available for the valentines drinks that cost $25. I ordered the blueberry muffin and my friend had a breakfast taco. It was pretty good. It looks like a go to spot for many, which says a lot because there were other shops nearby. I love the setup and would go back to try something differently. Maybe the matcha? Very aesthetic little café with a cozy vibe. I ordered the Horchata Matcha and a croissant with cream cheese and strawberry. The matcha was decent, definitely on the sweeter side, but I couldn't really taste the horchata. The croissant would have been much better if it was warmed up, but still tasty overall. I ordered to-go but ended up enjoying it outside the shop. There's street parking available, and a laundromat next door adds some extra parking spots. I really enjoyed this spot! The location is not very big, so you may have to wait for a table. You order first, then you get a number and have to find a table. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. It had very cute and "Pueblo" style decor. The staff was super friendly and accommodating! Lattes: I got the horchata matcha latte and my husband got the Dulce de leche latte. He didn't dislike his, he just didn't find it to be that flavorful. I enjoyed my matcha however the cinnamon that they put in there had clumped up a bit and some sips were all cinnamon which was a little off putting. Mexican cheesecake: it was okay. You can tell it was made from scratch and I appreciate the "artistry" (so to speak) that goes into that. But I didn't love it and probably wouldn't get it again. Chilaquiles: my husband got this and thought it was okay. There was an option to add chicken and he definitely should have. It was really just chips, salsa, and one egg. Cowboy toast: this was soooo good. Presentation was so appetizing and I really enjoyed it. Very filling, which I wasn't expecting. My only critique is that the avocado spread could have been enhanced with a tad bit of seasoning. The sauce on top did a great job of bringing everything together but any pieces without it and just the avocado, you could kind of tell. Overall we enjoyed this restaurant and will probably be back! My first time here, I ordered the breakfast tacos and a horchata latte. The tacos were pretty good, but a little bland. The latte was better. It was pretty unique, but also fairly sweet. The inside scenery is nice 9/10. The bakery items are also taste so delicious and so does the coffee. This morning though I come in with 1 person ahead of me. The guy with long hair takes my order, and then there is about 5 others behind me. By this time they all order and the people making the drinks do all 5 of the other people before me. Mind you I'm currently at work waiting to go and I ordered a small 12oz latte. I timed because this has happened before but it taken 16 minutes to receive a small coffee. Never noticed this place as many times I pass through here. It's connected to a small boutique with some cool items. It's indoor and outdoor seating. The chairs and tables are unique in their own. So we tried quite a few things this trip. I had the horchata latte and the dulce de leche latte. Both solid choices. The staff recommended them and said they are the popular items on the menu. The tacos were awesome. Though the tortillas are sourced from a torteilla, they were really good. The different pastries we tried all were immaculate. The concha was my favorite. Stopped by Pan Tostado Café for the first time a few weekends ago with a friend. The line was long but moved quickly, and the staff were super helpful. I got the iced pistachio latte and omg it was insanely good. I've been craving it ever since! The same is true of the menu. It is not extensive but provides a good choice of items. The egg and avocado toast was excellent. The chilaquiles were also also great.They came with small tostado chips rather than the strips found at many places. Im new to the area so ive been trying all the coffee shops! I can across this one and loved the vibe when I walked it, it very cozy and not loud and hectic like most coffee shops I've been to. It looks small from the outside but have a good amount of seating and a cute "backyard" seating area too. It's nice that they not only have coffee and pastries but also small breakfast meals! Stopped by today on Father's Day and expected the place to be packed, but alas, it's not mother day and we dads kinda get ripped off... But what I was treated to was a delicious light breakfast that hit every spot in my belly!! We ordered the pesto and burrata toast and the avocado toast with egg. WOW! The burrata/pesto toast was absolutely delicious! Great tasting pesto that wasn't to hot with delicious soft burrata. Topped with fresh ripe tomatoes and drizzled with chili crisp. The Avocado toast was even better! The smashed avocado was perfection, the lightly fried egg was fantastic with a slightly runny orange yolk. I added some of the chili crisp from the other toast onto it as well as a tomato. Fan-TAS-tic! Both on lightly grilled crusty bread. Service was great and the coffee although not as hot as last time was good. I can't recommend this place any higher, but it deserves more stars.. read more

Stopped by here for some coffee while visiting Georgetown during the holiday season. The interior is super cute/modern and cozy. I'd love to just sit and spend some time here next time. They have a small gift/home decor shop connected to it, too. I was feeling festive so got a hot gingerbread latte with oat milk, less sweet - it was perfect! We also got a cold horchata/matcha latte. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the two mixed together but it turned out great, and I'd absolutely recommend it. They make the horchata themselves. Wish I'd have been hungry enough for a pastry or some of their food but that'll have to wait til next time. First I have to say the Amor de Decor is a must stop. It is the shop connected to Pan Tostado Cafe. The cafe has plenty of room to hang out or enjoy a meet up with friends. I ordered a matcha, americano iced, and pastry's. For the pastry I got a concha, sugar croissant and gingerbread cookie. The were okay I did not ask if they make them or if they source them. The barista was so kind and friendly making it a great experience. As for the matcha and americano they were good as well do expect some wait time. I think it's natural to wait at any coffee shop personally. The experience was great and I'll go back and visit the decor shop. As for the coffee I do think I will try a more "shop" specific drink next time. I generally try the basics to get the foundation of the flavors myself and they met. I highly recommend visiting Pan Tostado Cafe and make it a destination to meet someone or bring someone. Then explore Georgetown after as I know it a north location to most of Austin but worth the drive. read more

The ambiance is delightful! They have a wonderful choice of food items beyond the traditional American coffee shop.

Service was slow, but understandable because of the size of the restaurant and the number of customers there. Took about 10 minutes to place our order at the counter, and 20ish minutes to receive our coffee. Our food came out about 10 minutes after our coffee. I ordered a dulce de leche latte and my boyfriend had the pumpkin spice horchata latte. Our coffees were very sweet, almost too sweet to drink so I'd recommend getting maybe a basic latte. The chilaquiles were very good and flavorful and I'm glad we got the chicken added. Our crepe however was ok, it was hard and chewy, I wouldn't recommend getting it. If you ever want to run inside and quickly get a coffee, not sure this is the place where you can do that. I would like to come back and give this place another chance, and maybe order different coffees and dishes to see how they compare to what we ordered this first time around read more

Drove from Austin to Gorge town to try this place and was disappointed. The chilaquiles were so mid. The chips were overly fried and the tomatillo sauce was not good. The chicken was $4 extra dollars and it tasted like frozen chicken from the Costco bags. The crape was nothing impressive. Also got a latte with oat milk and honey, not good at all. I think the beans were burnt, because it tasted like alcohol. The Mexican chocolate was good but you really can't go wrong with that it just tasted like chocolate abuelita. Not amused at all. Super asthetic and cutsie but that's about it. Service was also mid while we were there heard one of the baristas talking to a customer whose order they had gotten wrong. What can I say, I reached out expressing my frustration on instagram on waiting 40 mins for 2 coffees. In those 40 mins I I saw them process about 12 more orders, the line never went outside then store which is on the smaller side, and i saw multiple people leave the line because it just wasn't moving. So after 40 mins of waiting for my two coffees with no soft top (I'm vegan) when I pick my drinks up they have soft top. Ordered two large and one was small and the other was large. I went back up to the barista and was explained the drinks I ordered come with soft top which makes me feel like if you just made this drink did you not see on the directions it says no soft top. I think my overall experience is that the extremely long wait time for two coffees is minimized by an employee that they were "bombarded" with guests but in my under an hour stay the order line is as not moving. And my comment was also deleted on their instagram. How nice to only leave the positive feedback and delete the rest. No apologies, no sorry this is unacceptable to wait that long for two coffees, just me and other guests that were expressing their frustration as well with me on the ridiculous wait. read more

The coffee was delicious and so was the chilaquiles. My wife had the crepe and said it was awesome.

I went in for my second time and waited 20 minutes for our drinks and another 20 minutes (40 minutes) total for everything to come out. By time the food came out our drinks were all gone and my crepe came out cold. The crepe wasn't very good at all. I feel like they were taking in too many orders without warning people of the wait. I definitely could've went elsewhere for the same type of food and better quality with less of a hassle. The inside was incredibly loud so we ate outside. The tables and seats were uncomfortable especially considering the slits that make it easy for your drinks to fall over. There's hardly any parking and near by parking is all reserved for other businesses that tow. Overall, I don't see myself coming back anytime in the future. read more
