The front desk staff are all very young--guys and girls who are never actually helpful. Most of the time, they're just chatting amongst themselves. And then there are those wretched mobile apps--why don't they just issue membership cards? I'm a monthly member, yet I get stopped almost every time I walk in and have to give them my phone number because the app frequently fails to log in or activate. I just don't get it; why can't they provide a standard card instead of handing me a cheap paper slip whenever I can't get in--only for it to need re-activation a few days later? read more

Love that they changed their hours to 11pm mon-fri and until 9pm on sat/sun. Very epic. Also love that they closed the movie room I only really enjoyed the theatre experience. Also it's super cool how when I first enrolled there were the amenities of the racquetball court and a basketball court. However, oops they're gone. Good thing the monthly membership increased in price to reflect these downgrades. Also it's soooo cool that they charge a ton for the 20g protein shakes. They take forever to fix equipment. Love paying for my once 24/7 gym. Also it's really really enjoyable how I am locked to one gym and not able to use any location simply because they dislike customer satisfaction. read more

My daughter was very specific about what she needed from this gym. It was to train for dance after having knee surgery. Imagine driving 30 minutes to get to Just Move to be told you have to wear shoes after dancing there a month in socks. There solution is to wear ballet shoes. Same material as socks. She has to train post surgery the same way she did before surgery. She doesn't wear shoes. What a big waste of money this turned out to be but they got the $100 cancellation fee plus a whole month paid since they require a 30 day notice. She will not go one day in that month. read more

About a week ago, i was livid with how my experience at the kids club went, since then, i feel like my concerns were taken serious. As i said before, a great gym with a great team. You have a variety of things to choose from. I was relieved to hear back from Pleasant regarding my issue and received a call from Nolan the manager explaining what steps have been taken care of to prevent this issue happening again not just to me but anyone's children. I went to Just move because of a huge billboard that says you can join for $9.95 a month. When I got there they said that advertisement was over even though the sign is still up weeks later. They charged me $28 a month. A manager named Nolan kept giving me the run around by refusing to admit that would be false advertising. The gym is a great place to work out but make sure you know exactly what your paying. if you can't get it explained in detail then drop it like a hot potato The staff and managers are not on the same page. just my personal experience. The spinning class is wonderful. The staff and other participants are very friendly. I plan on trying other classes.

I just joined the family plan for up to 7 ppl for $81.99 or something like that. Ends up slightly more with tax. They were running a special and signup was only $1. So cheap! Brandon showed us around and was so sweet. Henry helped us sign up and was so friendly and pleasant. I had quite a few questions and the guys were so patient. I'm sure they were plotting my death because I felt annoying! But they were so great. They have a movie room, a women's only workout room, racquetball, basketball courts, tanning, sauna in both the men's and Women's bathroom, classes...this place is huge. Wasn't sure I'd like it after I could barely find a parking spot, but it's so spacious in there that it doesn't feel too busy. I couldn't be happier here. read more

Just signed up since moving to Florida. I can honestly say this is turning out to be one of the worst decisions I've made. The workout equipment & other training areas here are really nice. I was looking for a gym with a basketball court & they have one. But the court is only opened when a manager is present. So if they aren't here, the court is closed & that could be at any given moment. What's the purpose of having amenities when you can use them during the day time? So far, highly disappointing & I will be looking for a new gym immediately. read more

I am a member at this gym. Have been a member since it was golds gym. There's always new faces of regular employees and different policies every time a new manager comes along, what ever, Listen I work out with at least 10 different free weights during my workout , if I leave everything that I used on the floor and an employee sees me or anyone sees me I expect them to say something because yes, I have to pick up after myself 100% as everyone should at any gym and I've never done but if you see I lefted one weight, one weight out of ten weights that I used, and you tell me something because you wanna be an ass, it goes both ways, like dude keep your self busy and do your job because that's why you are there to make sure the gym is clean, which it's not in the machines and weight section, to picked up and to make sure the customer is happy with the overall appearance and performance of all machines at the gym , that wasn't the case today , don't pester me about leaving one weight on the ground because I'm not the only one and to be an ass I'll leave all of them there on purpose and walk away, so you can pick all of them up and then you'll have some thing legit to complain about, so please pick your battles the guy with the glasses and the , hat with a goatee, yeah you know who you are. Like I pay my membership a month I know what to do at the gym and what not to do I don't need anybody coming to me and talking to me about. My gym etiquette, I know my gym etiquette you don't know why the wait was left there and to be honest is none of your business. You can go ask around the people that are there where the wait is and if nobody wants to use it, then you put it away. You don't pester the customer. They just had a great gym session with BS to now ruin their day because you want to come to them and complain about something that they did when you're an employee you're working there you see one wait, you pick it up or you leave it there to see who's going to use it. The staff that they have working at the gym right now has like no common sense, before acting think, don't get me wrong. The gym is a great gym. The layout of the gym is a great, the people they have working there, holy shit, I know they had to have been better ones in the litter. The shakes are mediocre. Nothing is fresh anymore. They're missing some freelance equipment that they should have, they have no barbell land mines, which they should, and it's been two years and they're supposed to update the gym every year and they have not this year or the past year They need more weight plates, and they need to have fixed barbells in the women section and the cable machine in the women's section and they don't. So these are my complaints, which one has more weight Me leaving one piece of wheat on the floor or me having all these concerns because I'm paying $35 a month plus $100 every year and it's missing all of this, hmmmmm read more

In fairness, the workout area of this gym (Winter Haven) is clean and well managed as far as sanitation, etc. It's the looker rooms that are so dirty and smelly. They don't implement the rules for using the sauna. People are going into the sauna with sweaty clothes and stinky shoes right after they workout. That is just not acceptable. Remember the air inside the room is what you breathe and thats not healthy and just plain nasty. These people needs to implement a rule for members to follow or don't use the sauna at all. read more

Being a lifelong YMCA member I've forgotten how other gyms are. Just move is a breath of fresh air as it is a country club for those into fitness. The facility is super larger with plenty of weights, machines, and treadmills/cardio machines. They have a separate room where you can watch movies while you work out. They also have a basketball court and racquetball courts. This is by far one if the best facilities I've been to. For 30 bucks a month you can't beat it!!! read more

Update....... Holy cow, if you want a total body workout come and take a Body Boot Camp class with Tony Karl! Talk about getting it done......you will be dripping with sweat and feel great afterwards! This gym is totally worth every penny. First, it feels like home. The staff greets you buy name every time. I don't ever feel out of place there. There's no muscle bound guys grunting & sweating. There's always something to do so your never bored. I love the ladies only room and the cinema room is awesome! It's always very clean, smells nice, the bathrooms/locker rooms are big & clean. The juice bar is great. Totally worth the money. First time I've ever been to a gym & not wanted to leave. Tony my personal trainer is skilled & very knowledgeable. Best place to join! read more

Keep an eye on your credit card statements and make sure you keep receipts of when you enroll and when you cancel. I moved away and stopped by the front to cancel, the girl working the front told me she'd contact the manager and they would take care of it. Now they're telling me that they needed written notice or for me to have contacted their financial group. I would have had no problem doing that if I was told to do that then. Was misled and months have gone by where they have been charging me. They refuse to issue a refund or look into who was working that day for that person to take accountability. I have tried calling 5 times and no one answers. When it was Gold's Gym they at least answered the phone. I have left messages and no one calls back. When I walk into the gym the staff is chatting at the desk, so why can't they answer the phone? There has to be a better way to treat patrons. read more

The name of this Gym is Just Move. But it is hard to do when a significant number of the members just camp out on the machines. I am not talking about someone who is doing repeated set's with a little break in between. I am talking about individuals sitting on the machines 10, 15,20 or more minutes while taking a break with no set's. This is not totally that person's fault. There are no place for these people to sit while they are resting. I have mentioned this to the people behind the desk more than once. Still management does nothing to address this problem. Why should they, they are in it for the money, not for our health. This fix is easy, put some benches around the gym so there will be a place for these people to sit. Put some signs up stating not to take breaks on the machines, be kind to others who also have paid to use the equipment and have a life to get back too. I am not asking management to confront these people. No one goes to the gym for that. But they can put in benches and some educational signs. What is so difficult about that. So come on management. Show us that you want to live up to your name. Just move. read more

I was a member 3 years ago and was considering restarting membership but I forgot what the issue I was having with billing... After reading the comments from others I was reminded what my issues were... This place Just Move puts you in a long contract that would penalize you if you happen to attempt to get out of it... When signing up these representatives purposely never tell you how long you'll be in this contract and the cost of breaking it.. I did like the gym on Cypress Gardens and the newer one at the time in Winter Haven but the price you have to pay for me is too much.. Every year they charge a annual fee FOR WHAT??? I was going there when it was Golds Gym and now that they don't have to pay royalties to Golds Gym because they changed the name you would think that the membership would be lower... The owner must be making up for all the years he paid royalty fees to Golds Gym off the backs of his memberships... I'm going to a Gym that doesnt trap members in lengthy contracts and punish members for paying too much for royalties.. read more

I have been a faithful member of Just Move for years. WHen it was under the Gold's Gym Label, it was great. They do a great job getting you in the door. However, when I went to cancel my membership, and didn't have a month to month contract, they continued to charge me after I was no longer using the gym. When I finally complained, they asked me if I sent a 30 day notice. I asked why a 30 day notice was needed for a month to month contract and they said it was in the contract. Ok. Great. Overall, good gym if you know what you're doing. Customer service sucks and staff gossips about members. The annual fee isn't really applied to effect improvements. I've been a me never there since it was golds gym and let me tell u they r either getting really cheap or don't value their members, I bought a shake today something so simple I always get the same shake they put blueberries in it and strawberries in it from a frozen pack they're not fresh they want to come and charge me extra when I've been a member there for over three years and I have never gotten charged extra to put fruit in something that should have fruit in it it has a parade but it's not the same thing when you don't put the fruit and makes it taste like peanut butter and I don't like the taste of peanut butter I don't mind having it in my shake but I don't wanna taste it I believe that the customer is always right and she already charged me and then she wants to go and start charging me again I got a strawberry sunrise it takes whey Frozen fruit flaxseed oil peanut butter and the purée I'm drinking a shake right now that I don't wanna drink I paid six dollars for it the person that made it was Jordan horrible customer service horrible read more
