They're terrible. A 1 week job took 1 month to do. They would arrive late and when I asked Victor if he was coming or not, I wouldn't a response for hours. One day, I told them not to come to my house to paint because I wasn't going to be home and it was going to rain. Instead of listening to me, they parked in my driveway and started working on my house without my permission! Attached are pictures of what I came home to the next day. To make matters even worse, they got paint on EVERYTHING. They got paint on my carpet, light switches, door knobs, shoes, books, bed, wifi router, etc. After the whole thing was over, Victor then started saying nasty things about my carpet so I would "let them" replace it (that would have set me back financially even more). This is absolutely ridiculous. Overall, I think they damaged more things than the paint job was worth. read more

I purchased a deal online for paint services. I was looking forward to it because I was so done with painting (I had enough!). I made an appointment with them and rushed home to open the door for them. I waited....15 minutes has passed. I called them and no one picked up. I called the office and no one picked up. 30 minutes passed...I called again and no one picked up. After an hour, they text me and said they're on their way. Text? I thought that was unprofessional since I felt like they owe me an explanation. Finally, 2 hours later, they arrived and said they were stuck in traffic. I don't know if I buy it. I felt that they were at another customer's place painting while I was waiting for them to come. They finished the paint job in 1.5-2hrs. The next day, I noticed they missed a huge spot. Perhaps they forgot to paint a second coat in this area? Ugh. In conclusion, I will not use this paint service again. They were two hours late and missed a huge spot on the wall. read more

We fell prey to the Living Social ad for "2 rooms". Then the voucher came through with "does not include prep, trim, ceilings, or paint". Obtained a refund through Living Social.Com. Apparently, "Just Paint" does not include "Paint", so the name should be "Just.." Their voucher sale is a bait and switch scam, stay away. read more

I got a living social deal where they would paint two bedrooms. They did an okay job but made a huge mess and didn't clean up. They were very nice, but I probably will never use them again. Just remember you get what you pay for! read more

I had some work done by Victor and his crew and it was some areas that needed fixing In one bedroom It was some Staplers in the wall where my Niece have put some posters up Why did they just paint over the staplers they could have come out It was areas where look like the wall need it to be sanded down in another bare Room it was areas where paint had never touched so I called him several times talking about Victor He finally called me backSaid that he would come and fix it he never came so I called again he never showed up then he is going to turn me to call him to remind him to come over what the h*** that is not how you do business I would not recommend this company to anyone not a great job very unsatisfied read more

I ordered an Amazon Local deal for painting two rooms with prep work for $159. The voucher clearly states rooms, not walls in rooms, but in a classic bait and switch, Just Paint demanded $85 per room to paint the ceilings as if that was not, somehow, part of the room. They also charged an additional $65 to paint the baseboards and window trim, which is, apparently, also not defined as part of a room. (I didn't even ask them to paint the closet so apparently I dodged a bullet based on the another commenter's report.) Further, though the voucher specifically included prep work (excluding repairing holes in walls), they charged extra to spackle some imperfections on the walls and ceilings which would be my definition of prep work. Their definition of prep work evidently was limited to filling in a nail hole or two. And a word of warning, if you wish for them to use more than 1 paint color in a room, that also racks up an additional charge. When we complained to the main office about these surprising new costs, they stood by the additional charges, but did offer a small discount. They also insisted that the voucher clearly excluded ceilings when even the painters in our house admitted that the voucher WE WERE HOLDING IN OUR HANDS had no such exclusion. All told the $159 "deal" cost me $220 more than advertised. The painters were efficient and polite. They arrived on time and they did a reasonably good job with the painting and even cleaned up after themselves. If I was judging this company on the quality of the work, I would give them 3 stars. It wasn't superb work, but I have definitely seen (and paid for) worse. But based on the stress and frustration of surprise additional costs and their failure to adhere to the terms of the deal that they offered, I have to give them 1 star. Amazon Local was wonderful and refunded the voucher price so while I spent more than I intended, I did not feel quite as ripped off. But this shady behavior on the part of Just Paint speaks to the character of the business and its owners. read more

We used Just Paint to do larger walls throughout the house. I was disappointed with the dripped paint marks on the wall, paint on the bannister and on the window sill. In some areas it looked like their roller may have been too dry as I can see the roller lines on the walls. Seems like they did a rushed job. read more

Just Paint Services was contracted to remove wallpaper and paint from several rooms in my home. We were told to pick out Sherwin Williams Paint, but Victor went to Benjamin Moore instead and matched colors (not with our approval). He then purchased the paint we chose and had to repaint the rooms. He was not happy. Also, he did not cover the thermostat in the dining room when they were taking down the wallpaper which destroyed the thermostat. I now have to purchase a new one. The bottom line is that after four days in our home, he sends a text message that he is not finishing the work he was contracted to do. We bought a 2 room voucher from Amazon Local. We live in a small Philadelphia row home and the main reason we bought the voucher was to have a small nursery painted (6ft x10 ft room was empty). Tiny room! For our second room we asked them to just paint the ceiling of our living room (10 ft ceilings...not high). The gentleman told me they'd have to charge $85 for setup to move furniture and "cut around the ceiling". After a quick discussion...they basically said for any room they paint---they charge $85 to move furniture. This was not stated in the voucher. It said they do all the prep work and made it sound like they just show up and paint your house. Thankfully, Amazon Local came through for us and credited us for just one room. The experience only gets better. After they finished the first coat in the nursery, I noticed they didn't do inside our SMALL 2ft x2 ft closet. When I asked them if they were planning on painting inside the closet (which was empty). They said no it wasn't part of the agreement. They also didn't remove any of the light switches or outlet covers--which I could have done...but just thought they'd do it with their promise of "prep work". If they told me they weren't going to remove them I could have gone upstairs with a screw driver and done it myself. The actual paint job was "ok". I mean we will have to go back and touch up spots. I've never had professional paint--so I'm not sure this is normal or not (probably not). It just ended up being an experience that my husband and I should have done ourselves---instead of trying to get a "deal" online that provided a mediocre paint job. On a positive note--the two men who came did do a good job cleaning up and arrived 15 minutes early. They were friendly and courteous to my home. Just seems they are working for someone who is trying to take people's money through these online promotions. All in all---I would never higher them again or recommend their services. When the painters arrived at our house they immediately told us how our rooms were too big for the Living Social deal we bought. I knew the size of my kitchen pushing it so I said that I'd be happy if they just did the kitchen as my two room deal. The main painter told me that he couldn't do that and he'd have to call his boss. At the same time, my mother, who lives in an adjoining apartment on my house, also bought a two room deal. Her rooms were normal sized rooms and they told her that she could only get three out of four walls painted. Because she was budget conscious (and she had me to paint the remaining wall) she said that was fine. He called his boss and made a comment about "cheap Black people". He did end up painting my whole kitchen, but he made my mom nearly cry by pointing to his shirt and telling her to read it aloud and say that he was there to "JUST" paint and not move her bed to paint her bedroom. She tried to explain that she tried to schedule them to come before she moved into the apartment and they said they were full and after some nasty looks, he finally moved the bed. So, the moral of the story is to find ANYbody other than these creeps to paint your room. read more

I took a chance on the LivingSocial voucher for 2 rooms deal ($159) and found out the job quality is only what you paid for. They did a OK job. Some hidden cornors show paint stains and clean up is sloppy. I have to do many touch-ups and thorough clean-up after them. They charged me $75 to paint a door and 3 window frames. But, only one side of door is painted, not the back side. I will not hire them again. read more
