First time going to Moon Valley. Oh my word, the selection, the organized perfect display of hundreds of trees down to flowers We first met Cameron Melsa. We showed him our backyard pics and what we wanted to do. He guided us to shrubs etc which would look great in our areas and in budget. His guidance was so professional, knowledgeable and kind. Perfect again At ck out we met Scott Maples, General Mgr. Felt like meeting an old friend. Cannot say enough for the awesome, healthy condition of plants, shrubs, trees. We recently landscaped our yard and spent a considerable amount of money on a variety of palms and other plants. Our experience at the nursery with Scott, and then Jim, was very pleasant and informative as they walked us through the nursery and discussed our project. On the date of plant installation, we had a crew of five show up at our house at 7:30 a.m. as promised. Alex Hornung was our planting crew manager. I can't say enough good things about Alex and how he communicated with us the entire day and the way he managed his very hard-working crew. This week Moon Valley Nursery's delivery/install team showed up to install our plants. The Team was led by Alex Hornung. Alex and his team was incredible! They did such an awesome and professional job. I am so impressed with this Moon Valley Nursery, not just because they have healthy/beautiful plants but because of their staff. This nursery definitely hired the right people who are the perfect fit. The day after Alex did our install we went to the nursery because we needed something else and Andrew helped us out and Andrew was also awesome to work with. We have an excellent experience with Moon Valley Landscaping. Sarah H in Sales at the nursery on CR 466 was super helpful in picking out hardy plants (after losing plants over the winter). She recommended some nice plants. Then she worked with the installation scheduler to get our planned installation move from mid-May to mid-March. When install day came - Alex and his crew called when they were on their way... Once they were here, we realized two existing trees weren't going to make it!! He worked with to get a two replacements delivered. He saved us a few costs on the cost/install of these two trees. Absolutely love the new bottlebrush & pineapple palm!! A great overall experience! From working with Heather on picking out new landscaping to the final installation with Alex, it was great! I was impressed by the removal crew the day before installation. They came in, put down boards so that the heavy equipment that they used to remove my palms didn't mess up my grass. They cleaned everything up afterwards and save my Seminole rocks so that they can be reused. The installation people were fantastic. Alex asked me to come out for each installation to ensure it was placed exactly like I wanted it. Overall, a first class experience. Worth the money! read more

It was a pleasure planning our new landscape design with the professionals from Moon valley Nurseries from start to finish. After planning our design Jaqueline came to the house and placed flags so the crew would know where to plant them. Alex Hornung and his crew were wonderful. ALEX went over our design with us again and made small spacing adjustments an he and his crew finished the planting. What a wonderful experience we've had with Moon Valley Nurseries in Lady Lake FL!!! Alex Hornung and his crew were friendly, professional, and just plain fun to have around . On two different occasions I have purchased several plants now from Moon Valley. The nursery is very organized and the stock is healthy and well maintained. I was very impressed with the knowledge and expertise the entire staff had. They were very helpful and friendly, willing to listen to our vision for the landscaping and offered great suggestions. Savannah is the best! It was near closing when we arrived. My mother has limited mobility and wanted two different types of plants. Savannah very carefully drove her around in a golf cart and located exactly what she needed. I was also present and had the great pleasure of interacting with Savannah during this time. She has a great personality and slow key sales approach. We comment later that we actually had fun shopping there. I highly recommend this business because of her and will be coming back. read more

This place is by far the best nursery around The Villages. Their plants are beautiful, healthy, and priced very fair. The best part of this nursery is their staff. Their stock of trees and shrubs is really nice. Strong healthy trees. They care for every plant from seedling on up. Highly recommend them.
