I love this service. I have been known in the past to bag up clothes to donate and drive around with them in my car for days or even weeks. Just porch it makes it so easy for me not to do that. The process to schedule a pick up was so super easy and fast. I love that they came one or two days later. I was pleasantly surprised that I did not have to wait a long time for them to come pick up my items. I left the items next to my front door and they came and picked up my bags on time. I had seven or eight large trash bags, stuffed with shoes, clothes and a couple of purses. I also loved when the pick up driver picked up my items, he didn't just throw them in the truck. He placed them in the truck, that shows that he cares about what he is doing. Donated about 300 bags of new clothes and shoes, as in huge lawn bags, wanted out till 7am rained until he came at 5pm-- just tossed them in with all other bags , no way to tell whose is whose, as for they ask what charity you want it to go, no way to tell if that chairty got what i donated, i doubt it, no bags were labeled or sorted just tossed in back of truck. Worker or driver was a hard worker,, not impressed with agency they don't return calls -- even when donating tons of new stuff. would n't use again other then it is convient . if truck is full they just skip you --that's my honest review read more

When I have textiles for recycling (ie, stained/ripped items, old towels and blankets) or donation I schedule a pickup online and generally, within 48 hours, someone is on my doorstep for a no-contact pickup. Similar to another reviewer, we used them twice with absolutely no problem. The third time they came later than the window they had given. The 4th time, we submitted our pick-up request and never got an email or text with a pick-up date. The following week I got an email Monday at 3:30 saying I hadn't confirmed PU for next day and needed to respond before 5. I responded at 4:30 and sent a text letting them know I wasn't given a date but was confirming for the next day. They never came and never responded to my email, voicemail or text. I submitted another pick-up request. I got an email giving me a date but didn't get the text the day before. Once again we dragged our bags outside and they never showed up. So, if you have one or two pick ups it may be ok. If you have more, you better look for other options. I can understand if you only get a certain number of pick ups per address, but I don't appreciate the lack of professionalism in not showing up and not responding to emails, text or voicemail read more

Have used this company three times with no problems..just scheduled online; they contact you with a date usually within a day or two of your request; last time on Friday, May 24th no one came to pick up 9 bags of household items; I had put out the bags at 6:45 and nothing that day; I left a message, emailed that day but never heard back; since it was a holiday weekend figured I would not hear until Tuesday; several days later, I called and left message with no response; left another message today; I do not want to use them again because who wants to haul the bags out to the porch and then have to drag them all in again? Just Porch It is so easy to use and super convenient! I used to carry bags of clothes around in my car for months on end with the intent of dropping them off at a thrift store. I no longer need to do that. I have used Just Porch It three times now and I was extremely happy with their service each time. I just clicked on their link to let them know that I needed a pickup, told them the number of bags I had and then they responded with a date (one time that date didn't work for me, so I just replied to the text and rescheduled to a different date), got up in the morning, left the bags on the porch and then went about my day (I didn't need to stay home and wait around for the truck to show up!) I only have one suggestion for the company, maybe you could add a "preferred pickup dates" option on your scheduling page so that your customers could give you a couple of dates that work for them, or schedule a future pick up for an upcoming move out. One more thing....I follow this company on social media, and I see all of the ways that they are involved in the community and how generous they are with those in need. Such an easy way to get the bags of free clothes that you keep meaning to donate out of your house!!
