The first conversation Mike told me he wanted my money a whole week before it was due. He only made this request of me. I was well prepared to make payment then, but after his rudeness ... I couldn't. I call back a few weeks later. Made a payment of 800 dollars. No problem there. Then in a week I go to make the final payment. Because of the plane seating arrangement and ppl being swapped out Mike only tells because I'm making my last payment that it is 300 more than what I expected to pay. This was a huge problem. I feel the moment he found it out he should have called not waited until I was making my final payment. Anyway the payment was made. I was pissed. But the vacation itself was nice. No complaints. But just dealing with travel agency was hell. Never again!!!

This one doesn't go all the way to the mountains, but you could easily spend a day on it on foot, and biking and boating are options as well. The infrastructure was good, and multiple open bathrooms and water fountains were available. The paths were generally quite wide (as former towpaths) and had plenty of space for bikes and pedestrians to share, with a couple of interesting exceptions. I didn't do any tours, but I expect the history is worth pursuing.
