She made it seem that it was the dress company and my fault. It was the only dress that had missing tags cut off the dress. Even made a statement about my daughter's size in front of my daughter. She lied about the dress size ordered being inaccurate. Then went on to saying I placed the order for the wrong size dress, and she would give me my money back. God knows if I had all the merchandise purchased, I would have taken all my money back and walked out. However, I only had the items I was exchanging with me so I decided that I would suck it up and continue to find another dress and then never step foot in that store again. Instead of her trying to help a customer who just spent $600 in her store there was absolutely no customer service given. NONE!! I immediately began looking for another dress in the size I originally ordered. The dress given was half the size of what I found. Thank God I did find a dress in the correct size needed. When I was leaving, I told her thank you and so she knows that I would never spend another dime in that store ever again. She had the audacity to say, "Good, you were the absolute worst customer I ever had." I laughed and walked out. She clearly did not say have a problem the two times I was in there prior to this incident spending my money ordering and picking up my order while buying shoes etc. Ladies please I beg you please find another store to shop in for your kids. This is not a store for your beautiful daughters to shop. I am burning up inside right now because I want all my money back. The first time was when we were patiently waiting in line for 25 minutes for my daughters to try on dresses. After waiting in line because there are only 2 dressing rooms, she told us we needed to hurry up once we got in there. We were patient allowing other customers to try on dresses, why now did we have to be rushed. 2. The second time was via phone. Where I called to speak with a manager, she told me a manager by that name did not work there, and she "Could take my number or not?" 3. The third time was via phone, because she refused to exchange my daughters dresses, despite after every dress we liked they told me could be ordered in my daughters size, but then when they tried to order them, the dresses were always discontinued or not available in her size. She became extremely irate with me on the phone, to go as far as using profanity and then hanging up on me. I will never support a store that does not value customer service and is not willing to hear the customer especially after the "manager" is as rude as she is. I will continue to write complaints on all platforms until something is done about the treatment in this store.

Upon parking, I walk up to the entrance and have to navigate around 2 men having an aggressive conversation at an above normal decibel level. I walk in, and not 2 seconds later, some young, scraggly dude walks past me and belches so loudly the employee unloading boxes gasps in disgust. I'm 10 seconds into my experience, and already I'm ready to turn around. The next knock is that the inside is CRAZY crowded. Merchandise is just on top of other merchandise. Again, the outside of this store is completely redone, and it looks like it belongs in Marlton or some other uppity New Jersey suburb, but inside, it is super cramped. The last straw was listening to the employees argue and yell at each other about when they were getting off, and what they WEREN'T going to do, etc, etc. I looked at the like 4 small racks of mens clothes and decided it wasn't worth it. I headed back to Jersey to do my shopping. I love Marshalls, but I don't see a reason to come back to this one any time soon. Based on our conversations, I believed I was buying a unique piece from the studio. Later, I discovered what appeared to be the exact same dress being sold on Shein for around $40. Since I had purchased the dress for a high-profile dinner and believed it was a unique design, I felt misled and very disappointed. I contacted Margarita to discuss the situation. During a phone conversation, she acknowledged my concerns and suggested she could offer a significant discount on a future project, as we had discussed having a custom blazer made. However, when I later arrived with fabric for the blazer and again raised the issue of the dress, she told me there was no return policy and did not honor the discount that had been discussed. What made the experience even more frustrating was the way I was treated in the studio. While we were in the middle of discussing my concerns, another customer arrived and Margarita immediately shifted her attention to them. After waiting, we resumed our conversation, only for the same thing to happen again when another customer entered. I felt that my time and concerns were not being respected. The combination of feeling misled about the dress and the lack of professional customer service left me with a very negative impression. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this business based on my experience.

The selection is typical of a secondhand store, with some items looking better than others - but I actually snagged a really cute white sweater recently (Express brand) that fit perfectly and was in great shape. Many of the items still have the tags on them. Yes, I did see a few items that weren't in such nice shape but that's to be expected at a secondhand store, things do sneak by. I've also had good luck selling here. The items I've had success selling include handbags I'm not using (hello, pandemic... I don't go anywhere anymore LOL), my daughter's clothing that she's grown out of and is still in nice shape, and some of my clothing as well. No, you're not going to get top dollar for your items, but that needs to be expected. If you have an item that you have a certain dollar amount in mind for, try Facebook Marketplace or an app - but of course, you might be waiting a while (or forever). For quick cash and decluttering nice items, this is the place to go. If you're in the area, check it out! The people who work there are also nice which is refreshing as compared to some of the other secondhand stores in the area.
