When we later asked detailed questions about specific endorsements and policy language, our concerns were answered with general assurances rather than references to the written contract. After asking for clarification, we never received a response. We found another agency that provided the specimen policy and endorsements before binding coverage and answered our questions by referring directly to the policy language. If reviewing the actual contract before you buy is important to you, I would recommend working with a different agent.

My experience was extremely unprofessional and completely unacceptable. I purchased homeowners insurance through this agency and trusted them to properly handle my coverage. They knew there was an inspection issue and knew the policy was being cancelled, yet I was not clearly informed that my homeowners insurance had actually been cancelled. I only discovered the problem after receiving a $1,770 refund check and having to repeatedly contact the agency myself to find out what had happened. I then spent weeks trying to resolve a situation that should never have reached this point. As a result of this coverage gap, I am now facing an approximately $790 charge from my mortgage lender. I have documentation, emails, cancellation records and communications showing the timeline of what happened. What is even more frustrating is that, instead of taking responsibility for how this situation was handled, I was repeatedly told that the responsibility was mine because an inspector supposedly could not reach me. Meanwhile, the agency had already been communicating with the insurance company about the inspection and cancellation. This is not the level of professionalism, communication or accountability I expect from an insurance agency. I have already had to reconsider my relationship with this agency for other insurance as well. DO NOT TRUST THIS AGENCY BLINDLY WITH YOUR HOME OR YOUR INSURANCE COVERAGE.
