When we got there for our appointment and the sign was turned to closed because the owner "didn't want any business today" that should have been the first clue. We were told three hours and when we showed up to collect the dog the owner had the nerve to chew us out because she wasn't done. A simple "I'm not done yet" would have sufficed. When we got the dog back, the cut was uneven, his nails were cut but not filed, and even though we told her the dog had sensitive skin, she used something that broke him out horribly. This groomer's ineptitude will cost us a ton in vet bills to get him comfortable after this. Run - do not walk - from this groomer.

When a practice has an entire giant room dedicated to expensive non proven vet only food, you can get the vibe. OWe took our cat, who has had asthma his entire life in when he got a cold (URI) and they wanted $1000 of treatment and tests including an MRI. If you took your child to a pediatrician for a cold, and he wanted to do an MRI ... you would go elsewhere. Anyway, they hold your pet for ransom with inflated costs, unnecessary tests and when you question it, as I did with the office manager, they become quite nasty. Among the most aggressive customer disservice I have experienced in my 66 year lifetime. BTW, they also own the Bryson City Vet, which uses the same model. We found a legitimate vet that we travel to an hour and a half round trip, that is far, far better.

Here's how they keep their reviews high. You are not allowed to complain. If you give them a…read morenegative review they ban you from coming in. I had a dog that needed surgery and they kept forgetting the staples when it was time to remove them. The first time I brought my dog in I was totally understandable. People made mistakes. But after I brought my dog in a third time because of Staples they forgot. My dog finally had to be put down because of infection they caused. Because I complained and gave them a bad review they banned me from the practice. I don't even think they should be allowed to have Cherokee on the name. Because they're not in Cherokee and they are not Cherokee. I really wish we had a vet in Cherokee.
