DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS SHOP UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. NO STARS!! My vehicle has electrical problems and would not start. It was originally intended to be towed but upon arrival the wife and her mechanic decided to drive it from Louisiana to Texas and back. I was contacted by the husband and told it just needed a starter. I was relieved and okayed him to put brake pads on the front a long with the starter. The price I was quoted was $427. A couple of hours later I was contacted by the wife with a $742 price and was told the mechanic was working on the tvs in the rear but that they were now in working order. Ans yes i did question the difference in price. I received my vehicle way beyond empty in gas. Upon arrival the wife told me on the way to drop it off the front blinkers went out. The price was $932 for a starter and brakes pads and rotors on the rear. I would never request brake service ONLY on a rear wheel drive vehicle. My intention was to have it start. Brake pads were optional and with it only being a starter i figured brake pads in the front wouldnt hurt. It will no longer start unless have it jumped. I had to pay AAA that day to get me on the road again after being left with not even enough gas to get less than a street away to the gas station, where I live. My tvs and ac now turn on and off even with the vehicle is off. I reported them to BBB and their response was that I am angry because they do not do provide gas service and that I appeared to be under the influence. And that they don't understand the problem since they returned the vehicle with no drop off fee. (I was told they offer pick up and drop off service) My father is retired law enforcement and i work for the state. This is accusatory and depicts defamation of character. When I called the shop 5 minutes after receiving the vehicle the husband was rude, laughed at me and continuously kept calling me back with no resolution besides arguing. I have text messages from the shop stating the mechanic was working on the electrical problem yet my receipt only depicts a starter, and brake bads and rotors. I only know they are on the rear only because I got underneath the car and can see the front was never taken apart at all. This was a surprise.Let's be real... if your car doesn't start and you have to get it towed would you request brakes to resolve the issue? Lol!! RUN from this duo. They use miscommunication between]1 husband and wife as a tool and obviously only oversell brakes to compensate for what the shop is lacking. I am now filing criminal charges. read more

DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE TO K&A I brought a rear axle from my 2007 toyota tundra to K&A to have the wheel bearing pressed on, after calling and talking to Chris. I was told hed charge me $40-50 and wouldn't take but 10 minutes. when I arrived with the axle we saw I was missing a washer and would have to get that part. I was told he had to go to another town the next day and would pick the washer up while he was there ($27 washer) so the next day I showed up to get my axle and it wasn't finished, I waited while they did it. after they finished they presented me with a bill for $380, $156 for the wheel bearing and $198 for the washer. (I price checked everything from local part stores two days prior. the bearing was $97 after tax and the washer was $30 after tax...I complained and stated that I knew the part was $27 from any toyota dealer and I knew exactly what they paid for the bearing, because I bought and returned the exact one they used from oreillys. then the lady proceeded to tell me that they have to mark up parts. I understand mark ups but 100x the original price is a ridiculous markup, it's no longer a markup at that point, it's them screwing a customer over that they thought was naive. After complaining and explaining they dropped the price to $240 which is still way too much for $120 in parts and "10 minute job" not only that but they bent the brake dust plate that the parking brakes mount too and gave me the parking brake back in a bag instead of returning my axle like I brought it to them. needless to say, neither me or any of my family will ever go back to K&A, if your having issues with your car bring it anywhere but K&A read more

K&A did not repair my vehicle correctly, I brought it back, they had it for 2 weeks, I picked up to pay another $300 which did not fix the problem, I left the vehicle again to give them the opportunity to correct their wrong. I just picked it up today and it still is not repaired correctly and now have a dent in my drivers door. They don't stand behind their work.
