He was an excellent driver. He always obeyed the speed limit, and never responded to the idiots who cut him off. He was very observant when looking for a destination, we were given the right name of the building but the wrong address and he was able to help us find it. The price was very reasonable. Only reason I took off a star was because we booked a return trip and we were told that a ride would arrive within an hour of our call telling them we were ready. We called at 12:39 and I ride showed up at 2:15. Yes it was raining and I guess there might have affect the traffic, but when I looked at Google maps it showed that this ride should have taken 45 minutes so obviously traffic wasn't that bad cuz that was a normal amount of time for this ride. Don't know what caused the delay but having somebody who's in pain while sitting, sitting in a wheelchair waiting for a ride was not a lot of fun. Then I called to get a quote for another ride that was like a quarter of the distance of this one and it was only $100 less. $300 for a 30 mi round trip ride was a little ridiculous. Considering that the price for a 68 mi round trip was $400. I would definitely book them again if the price was reasonable.

The best part although sad he has a family member who is disabled and this is why he started the business. There is one negative review here on yelp that I personally feel is unfair. When I spoke with Mark, he told me that this gentleman called him three times, but would not give him his name or what he needed, and the phone number was from out of state , so Mark thought it was a scammer, but he still answer the call just to make sure that it wasn't someone who needed him. It turns out on the fourth phone call. Mark did find out that he needed his service but neither one of them felt they could work with each other. The fact that he took four phone calls and still couldn't get an answer . That shows me Mark true integrity. So please don't let one negative yelp review sway you from using this outstanding company. They will from now on be my go to transportation service.

The receptionists were nice, took info and I waited about 5 minutes and an older guy, nurse??, took me to my exam room. He returned in 10 minutes and took my info & vitals. Told me doc will be in shortly. She came in 21 minutes. Nice, friendly, mid-aged doctor. The exam room was also clean & presentable. The male nurse was ok when taking my blood. I have had better. The check out receptionist was nice & friendly as well. Decent practice.

The days and hours worked for her until she left the interview. Then apparently "we had a small problem". She wanted 4 days and 6 hours a day at $25.00/hour based on what she "saw"???? I asked what she saw, apparently the house was a mess??? It's a condo and I know it wasn't a "mess". Sorry Barbara and Eva's, there are other agencies out there.

Firstly, ALWAYS check the "__ other reviews that are not currently recommended" on Yelp. Those are…read morelinked at the very end of the displayed reviews. Yelp has this absurd AlGoreithm that automatically and mindlessly dumps perfectly valid, legitimate reviews into this "not recommended" bucket for no good reason. They generally seem to be from commenters that only have one or a couple reviews, but that is not always the case. Those "not recommended" reviews do not count in the overall star rating. Here, all those 9 reviews are solid 5-stars that clearly contradict and offset the two outliers. As will mine. I needed transportation from the hospital after an outpatient procedure. Just a car ride home. Hospitals have become very picky and obstinate about this and in these times there is nobody around. People have jobs, kids and commitments to deal with. In this sw suburb area there are virtually no options. The last local outfit I dealt with now refused to help. I was lucky enough to find Home & Hearth Caregivers after an extensive search. They were very helpful in arranging this non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) and at a very reasonable rate. But wait ... there's more. After I got to the hospital, ready for the procedure, already lying on a bed hooked up to an IV, they suddenly and unexpectedly informed me that I MUST have someone stay overnight. After substantial resulting chaos Home & Hearth came through and found somebody at the very last minute. Truly above and beyond effort. Caregivers and staff were wonderful. Very nice, polite and helpful. Couldn't ask for better. As for rates, they are typical for the area. I did compare. Billing came through clearly presented and accurate. They get my highest recommendation and should I need such services in the future, they are my #1 choice.
