When I was released from Alden Rehab Huntley, we had no idea & I should have asked, who was taking us home, Rainbow Services, & what the charges were going to be, $110 to go 3 miles to our house. When I called Rainbow & questioned them about the pricing, the lady on the phone said that we were 4 1/2 miles from Alden to our house in Del Webb. I had my husband drive his van over to Alden and he clocked it at 3 miles. The very rude person on the phone said it's 4 1/2 miles. $110 total ‍ For 3 miles. If they add on a mile or 1 1/2 miles to each person they pick up, they should be making a nice little profit. Their Rainbow should be getting much brighter! read more

I used your service on August 3, 2025 at 4:45 P.M. I wanted transport to the hospital my physicians are at, not the closest hospital. My Lady who is a retired OR nurse of 44 years at LaGrange Hospital looked for a reasonably priced transport service. Yours is most reasonable. She found you have a 5 star rating, which of course being the internet is nice but you never really know. Now we do know. You earned every bit of those 5 stars and another 5 if I could. Randy and Mark came on time, got me securely and safely out of the chair, out of my house, down my stairs and into the vehicle. The vehicle had all new looking equipment, spotless clean, and very modern and up to date. Randy made me feel safe, and Mark right there with him. I felt safe. And Mark gave a good conversation on the ride which made a bad situation much more comforting. They are great. I cannot say enough good things about these two men and your company. I am retired now, but I was in sales, and I would have loved to sell your services to all the hospitals and healthcare facilities in the area. It would be such an easy sell, and point of pride. I used this transport service for my loved one that needed a wheelchair transport and I could not have chosen a better company. My call was answered immediately and got a quote for the service right away. Their rate is so competitive, actually, so much lower than the other ones that didn't even answer my call right away. We had the most wonderful driver, Marek (sp?). He was so helpful and attentive to our needs that we didn't even think we needed. He arrived early for pick up and got us to the appointment with more than enough time. Most importantly, he treated us with dignity and respect. OUTSTANDING WHEELCHAIR TRANSPORT SERVICE & OUTSTANDING DRIVER MAREK My Mom has fractured part of her back recently and so is in a wheelchair. Her spine surgeon needed her to get a MRI quickly. So, the MRI scheduler called & got her the next available appointment which was literally 24 hours later. We live in the suburbs (Plainfield, IL) and so it is very difficult not only to get wheelchair transport out in the suburbs but also to get it quickly -- without a lot of advance notice. We found Rainbow Road Transport and they had great reviews online and so I immediately called them. Despite the lack of more than 1 day notice, they said they would schedule my mother for transport. We were grateful for that. Then we got co-owner Marek who came to pick up my mother (I went along to help with the medical paperwork). He not only came a little early (wonderful) but he also was able to get my Mom in her wheelchair over the 2 steps (without a ramp!) by lifting the chair and gently pulling it over the steps. Wow! This is the best exit my mother has yet had -- better than the hospital staff. We learned that Marek used to be a home caregiver and he brings that compassion to helping all his wheelchair transport clients. He went the extra mile and actually waited until my Mom finished at the MRI (since it would be too long to get back to their HQ and back in time). He treated my mother as if she was his own mother! I wish everyone associated with healthcare and helping professions would be as kind & compassionate as Marek. In my opinion, it seems that he sees his service helping mobility challenged people as a vocation and not just a job. When we need wheelchair transport services in the future, we will definitely look to work with Rainbow Road Transport again. read more

Yesterday's transport of my sister was exceptional. The driver was caring and very helpful. Monday's driver was not good. Delivered my sister falling out of her wheelchair and left her, then delivered her back to her room, left her starring at the wall, and did not advise the team that she was back in her room. Do, the service can be exceptional or not as good, based on the driver. I think the company is organized and good communication. read more
