Only place I go for waxing. I've tried other places in town and they make them too thin and unnatural looking.

What I requested and what they gave me, obviously super ugly but that's not why im giving this place a zero rating. When I was getting my nails done the tech got a phone call, she told the lady on the phone "yes come in 15 minutes and I can do your eyebrows" I thought: how strange she's definitely not gonna be done with my nails for at least another 40 mins. Well eyebrow girl shows up and my nail tech starts rushinggggg my nails, to the point where she's burning me. I tell her very politely "hey I can tell you're rushing because you have someone waiting, please stop doing my nails. I'll pay for what you have done so far but im going to finish them at another salon. THEN THE NAIL TECH CALLS ME SELFISH. YES SELFISH. I would never lie about something like this. She proceeds to call me selfish because I can see someone is waiting for her and I'm still asking for her to fix the design. I immediately start crying because I'm very sensitive. I tell her SHE is selfish for having someone wait while she's helping another customer and that it was incredibly rude of her to call me names when I was looking forward to treating myself. I ask her to let go of my hand (mid crying still) and she YANKS MY HAND and tells me she'll finish my nails. It took me a while to realize what was going on because I was in shock but I finally pulled my arm away and walked out without paying. I have NEVER felt so attacked at a place where I'm supposed to be relaxing. Do with this info what you will but they don't care about you here as a human being. I have been coming here since they opened. The owner Sally is very personable and friendly. My experiences vary depending on which technician I get. The deluxe pedicure is so relaxing. My review has nothing to do with COVID. It has everything to do with customer service. The owner and sole employee, Tracy, provided waxing and a manicure for me as a walk-in customer. At that first sitting she made it quite clear that she did make appointments. So I purposely went to her shop 10 minutes prior to opening in an attempt to be her first customer. I waited 25 minutes, as she was 15 minutes late, only to be told that she had an appointment and would be busy for at least an hour. So I left. Today, I went again prior to her open time, to find her inside with another early appointment. When I asked how long before she would be available, she rudely responded that she would be too busy. I got the distinct impression that she doesn't want to give me a manicure, pedicure, or waxing. I guess a better than 20% tip is not good enough for her. read more

Went in to ask for a gel manicure. They insisted I had acrylic on my nails not gel and that they didn't do acrylic. They were extremely rude from the moment I walked in. I immediately walked out and found Diamond Nails in the Target parking lot. It was a much better experience. read more

Nothing special about this place just your typical nail salon. The reason for the one star is for our bad experience. I have come here many times before but I took my husband here for the first time to get pedicures together. The lady who worked on my husband was very rough, while cutting cuticles made him bleed. He did tell her before he started bleeding that it was hurting. She brushed it off as no big deal. A few hours later at home my husband was still hurting and the area that was bleeding did not look good at all. I called them to let them know and all she said was sorry. 0 - STAR RATING! Horrible Service * * * Very disappointed! I needed to get my nails done for an important meeting. Since it was getting late (4:55pm) I decided to stop by KK Nails and see if they'd take me without an appointment (I imagined they wouldn't) BUT they did. I asked the younger female tech if she knew how to do nail overlays and add a few cm of length to my nails. She replied, "I know how to do everything, pick your color". I picked my color and she started file down my nail. I asked her if she could work on my cuticles for a better, cleaner, rounder shape. She immediately started applying acrylic to my natural nail. When I asked if she was going to add length she became upset and wiped the fresh acrylic off my nail and stated I never told her I wanted long nails. She started all over again now applying the paper nails under my natural nails for length. The papers were all crooked and were falling off my fingers. She applied excessive acrylic, and with the paper misplacement, the acrylic went under my natural nail tips. She never even touched my cuticles as I asked to do so. I ended up with extremely thick chunks of acrylic on top and under my nail. When I asked her to reduce the thickness, so they could look natural. She became more frustrated and started file down the nail from under. At this point, there's two other victims (clients) waiting for her. I felt she rushed through the whole process. At the end, I felt so embarrassed of my nails that I wanted to get out of there running. I ended up paying $45 for something so UGLY. As soon as I got home, I grabbed my file and worked on my nails. I would've posted a picture but I fixed what I could myself, my ugly nails are not as bad now. Save yourself some money and time and go with a real professional. read more

I would give this place zero stars if I could, that's how bad they are. To start off, they didn't have nex-gen (certain kind of polish) so I settled for acrylic and jel. The jel Polish is all streaky and bubbly, and the acrylic powered is all over my hands and hardened, so there's no way of getting it off. secondly they charged me $10 because i wanted my nails shaped a certain way and then shaped them completely wrong. I usually get them narrowed out and instead they flare out and are extremely round. Thirdly I picked out my jel color and it was a grey. The guy grabbed the wrong color and I told him that it wasn't the color I wanted and he insisted that is was. The people are very sweet but over all I hated it.
