I'm guessing he was going to keep my deposit because when I spoke with Basin Sod they told me that Jason had already charged me for them. I'm now trying to get reimbursed from Basin Sod for my pallet deposit. If I would have known that he was just a middle man I would have just ordered directly from Basin Sod.

The crew rototilled the uneven areas, spread the dirt to even everything out and laid new sod. After a few weeks the sod is growing in nicely. They added dirt to the edges between the old grass and the new sod to even everything up and scattered grass seed. New grass is already growing in and in another week or two you won't be able to distinguish between the old grass and the new. We are really happy with the quality of their work! Absolute Lawn Care starts up our irrigation system in the spring and blows it out in the fall and maintains the system with new sprinkler heads or anything that is needed. Jason always responds immediately to phone calls and we never have to wait long for service. This is a top notch business with a reliable crew and we highly recommend them!

They were able to do the bulk of the work on Saturday but due to the weather, the remainder could not be done the same day. Even though he has current customer's already scheduled for the upcoming week, weather willing the plan is to finalize the job on Tuesday. Based on Eric's professionalism & the work he did, I felt comfortable paying for the complete job that will be finished in a few more days. I hired Eric Rodriguez on April 28, 2026 to replace my wood fence and paid $3,800 upfront for materials, with the remaining balance due upon completion. The fence was promised to be completed by May 10th (Mother's Day weekend). To date, the project is still not finished. The old fence was removed, and the fence posts and cross beams were installed, but no fence pickets have been put up. For weeks I was told, "Your fence will be done this week," but the work never happened. For the last two weeks, I have called, texted, and messaged with no response. I even requested a partial refund so I could purchase the remaining materials and hire someone else to finish the job. I have received no reply. Additionally, my neighbor's sprinkler system was damaged during the fence removal process, and they have also been unable to get a response regarding repairs.
