I guess this is how a divorce gets started:-(. I purchased my lawn tractor from these folks…read morenearly 2 decades ago. At that time, they were wonderful and did everything to make sure you were happy. Through the years, they tried to keep the flame alive by servicing the tractor at my house. Fast forward to this event. Service at the house? No! Pick up for service? For a crazy mileage fee! So I loaded it on the trailer and delivered it. So how long will it take? 5-10 days. You will call me about the repairs? No? 2 weeks later, I called. Nobody to talk to, so I left a message and phone number. Never heard from them! 3 weeks later, I called them. What's going on with my repairs? Oh, you were waiting on me to call you? Yes, I want it repaired - that's why I brought it here. 5 weeks and still not heard from them. My wife calls them and gets to talk to the service tech. Well, they had a little problem. Seems they destroyed the hood somehow, but they will replace it for free. I drove over and went in to pay. That will be X dollars. No thank you, no sorry about the delay, but we gave you a free hood. I went outside, and the tech was loading it in my trailer. He was extremely nice and explained everything that he had done. He's the only reason this was not a 1 star. I had talked to the sales manager about buying a new tractor. After this experience, I will be looking elsewhere. Divorce is now final!

I recently took a Pontiac 400 block to them after the original cast crank snapped. While the damage to the main journals was too great to save the block I know they did everything they could to save it. I left with a sense of peace that if the block could not be saved by them, then no one could. I am thankful for their efforts and knowledge moving forward.

Had a great experience renting a skid loader from Ewald Kabota in Boerne. Kris and Jake got me…read morehooked up with a great unit. It had tracks, it was stable, heavy, and strong. I was able to do the job I needed in the time I predicted. (I could have never done it with a four wheel bobcat.). The machine was in great condition, practically new, and functioned flawlessly. The air conditioned cab was really nice...cool, clean and most of all, not dusty. The tilt trailer I rented was easy to load and unload. (Next time I'll probably take advantage of their delivery and pickup service.) The pickup and return was easy and laid back. Friendly guys and great to do business with. Overall I give these guys an A+ and highly recommend.

Well they fixed what we took it there for and we were really happy about that, but then came home…read morewith more issues, check engine light came on...at their place, not before we dropped it off. Strange right? Well it sounded terrible like it was misfiring so we got someone to check it out (Boerne RV does not work on engines) turns out a squirrel had chewed the wires going to 4 injectors and a coil. I don't even know how we got it home! And I hate to say it because our experience with Boerne RV was otherwise great, but I think it happened at their shop! We had no check engine issues or strange sounding misfires taking it to them, but came back with it and had to pay another $900 diagnosing/fixing another issue‍ We won't take it back for future work because we don't want that to happen again. I'd say 5 stars for service, but eek, I hope they get their squirrel or rat issue figured out because that's not cool!

I spoke too soon with my original review. I specifically told them the wiring needed to be redone…read morein my older home. I paid $30,000+ to this company. I have since had three electrical issues all related to wiring. No wiring was changed; the panel covers were changed and outlets were installed. It still has the original wiring and some wiring from the 90s. Definitely not worth $30,000. I'm going to have to still have it rewired but it will certainly not be with Hunter Services.
