At that time, they were wonderful and did everything to make sure you were happy. Through the years, they tried to keep the flame alive by servicing the tractor at my house. Fast forward to this event. Service at the house? No! Pick up for service? For a crazy mileage fee! So I loaded it on the trailer and delivered it. So how long will it take? 5-10 days. You will call me about the repairs? No? 2 weeks later, I called. Nobody to talk to, so I left a message and phone number. Never heard from them! 3 weeks later, I called them. What's going on with my repairs? Oh, you were waiting on me to call you? Yes, I want it repaired - that's why I brought it here. 5 weeks and still not heard from them. My wife calls them and gets to talk to the service tech. Well, they had a little problem. Seems they destroyed the hood somehow, but they will replace it for free. I drove over and went in to pay. That will be X dollars. No thank you, no sorry about the delay, but we gave you a free hood. I went outside, and the tech was loading it in my trailer. He was extremely nice and explained everything that he had done. He's the only reason this was not a 1 star. I had talked to the sales manager about buying a new tractor. After this experience, I will be looking elsewhere. Divorce is now final!

I was excited that it only took a few days. Got to home only to find that the throttle leaver was broken. Since this was a Saturday they closed at noon so i brought it back In That Monday. Told them I think they accidentally broke the throttle arm on it and the lady was laughing like don't you hate when that happens. Rather than prioritizing fixing something they broke they said it would be 5-10 days. Well I'm on day 15 so I called and asked if the part came in the guy said it did but that he didn't know when it would be done. I'm thinking go ask the tech when he would have it done that's what any other person would have done. I have been going and buying my equipment at R&R for the last 16 years and they know me by name and I have never been treated like this before. So Most Likely this will be the last time they see my mower unless I have 6 months I can wait on it. Called again while writing this review and now they won't answer the phone. I moved out to Seguin 4 years ago and at that time bought a Mahindra 3016 package deal from bills…read moretractor. Within 4 years with light use the tractor needed the entire fuel system replaced and through the 4 years had a plethora of other issues. When I would call the parts and service people didn't know their tractors and it showed. I tell you this because after being quoted $5,000 dollars to replace the fuel system and a warranty of a whopping 30 days I decided it was time to part ways with the Mahindra. I called all three of the tractor dealers in Seguin and was very pleased with the service at Ewald. After hours and hours of research I decided to give Kubota our business. Austin Gay made the process extremely easy and enjoyable. Any time I have questions he has gotten the information I need as quickly as possible. I bought the tractor in May of 2017 and minus hitting a stump and bending a shredder blade yesterday I've had absolutely zero issues with the Kubota l4701 we bought. I cannot speak highly enough about Austin and the people I've come into contact with at Ewald. Because of the service I received during my tractor purchase I decided to also purchase a new weed eater there. I had my mind made up on a Sthil weed eater when I arrived, however Austin said I should buy the Echo SRM280t. Again he steered me in the right direction. That weed eater is a monster. It has had no problem cutting through my thick weeds and even some small mesquite. I highly recommend the echo. Today I called to get the information of the shredder blade I bent. The salesman got my the price and specs on it within a few minutes. What impressed me the most about that was when I showed up the gentleman had taken notes and written the part number down. Mind you I didn't tell him I would be coming to pick it up. Excellent customer service!!! Stuff like makes the buying process so much nicer and easier than some of the other places around here. If you're in the market for new equipment please give Ewald a call. All my future business will be conducted with them!!
