I love that she had SO many props from which to choose. She had many different color schemes, blankets, hats, etc. I thought it was really great how she had us complete a questionnaire prior to our session so she could get to know what we wanted - our color preferences, the look of our nursery, etc. When we were there she was also very accommodating. For example, she had out a hat that I did not really like and she was incredibly nice and loved that I shared my opinion on the look. Right away she switched it to something else to fit our preference! She will let you look around in her prop room to see if there is anything that catches your eye! I loved that the photos took place in her home because it just felt very clean and personal. The space was great for me to nurse him in between set ups so we could get him in just the right mood. What is also awesome, is that she has several photo packages from which to choose. So, it is not like you have to get all or nothing. I had SO much trouble choosing between images because I loved them all so much. She was helpful in helping me narrow down a couple of my choices. I ended up getting all but a few of the photos. She has a ton of patience and WAITS for the right look or moment. She has toys and noises that she makes to have the baby look at the camera. Two of the photos I've sent out in cards I've gotten questions about whether they were photo shopped! Nope, she just waited and got the shot. She has original backgrounds for Christmas (a fire place and you can hang your own family's stockings). She has a Santa outfit that takes priceless pictures (and you'll cherish knowing it was you in the Santa outfit-even if no one else will know). She has a "love" background that is spray painted graffiti we also cherish and a little motorcycle that are oh so cute! For quality of product I would give Jennie 10 out of 5 starts if yelp would let me!!! As far as answering the first review she got... Yes, the AC was out for a couple of days last summer, we were there and it was hot. But Jennie had called us in advance and asked if we wanted to reschedule. I chose not to because we were getting newborn pics, you can't exactly redo those. Getting your photos... Yes, it generally takes Jennie 3 weeks+ to get your photos back. There were a couple of times I had to call her to see what the timeline would be. So the next time we went I just agreed on a date to get them by at least 3 weeks out, and she never missed our agreed upon date. As well, I wanted to send out my newborn announcements and not have to wait 3 weeks. So within 2 days she had sent me what she felt were the best shots, so I could get my announcements out. Edited CD...so Jennie sends you a CD with edited photos on them, as well as all photos unedited, ie all of the photos from your session. I personally like that she sends you all of them, because some of the ones that surely would have been deleted are completely hysterical or a look that only you know that your child likes to give. She also photo shops a few of them with different colors and tones. I'm sure if you're unhappy with your images or wanted more editing you could call Jennie and she would fix it. And hey, with yelp out there you have the power of review so any business that makes you unhappy you can always write a review! Lastly, Jennie communicates solely by email/text messaging. She has 3 kids, a full time job, and this business on the side. She always communicates VERY PROMPTLY through these means. As well if you leave her a voicemail she will email/text you back shortly. Our photos through Jennie are priceless, and by the way...anyone named Jennie with an ie spelling is a gem. :)

The day of: she and her assistant were punctual, prepared, and brought a kindness and humor that really helped us loosen up and be ourselves.
