The cashier did not greet me instead she was visiting with another employee while checking my groceries...talking about their weekend adveture. I felt invisible. Included in my purchase were 2 pckages off fresh mushrooms. Cashier couldn't find the price on one & she insisted they were two different kinds of mushrooms, ( they were exactly the same ) When I informed her they were the same....I got a very rude eye roll & a sigh...(like I were lying about this) She then called a teenaged bag boy to find the price. He proceeded to walk very slowly all the way to the back of store(he also appeared very aggravated that he had to do some work as well) I waited & waited, as the checker stood rolling her eyes at me , chomping on gum & blowing bubble gum bubbles & popping them toward my direction. The lazy bag boy appeared as the far end of the isle with my fresh mushrooms & he was tossing them way up in the air over & over again as he returned with the price, & he still looked very upset that he had to lift a finger. Upon completing my order, I wasn't important enough to Marvins to even say "sorry" for the mix up nor did I get a "thank you for shopping at Marvins"..instead the bag boy bagged my groceries in each bag & way overloaded my groceries on( purpose) into the bags so heavy I could hardly lift to & from my car. I am a senior citizen who is disabled. The management in that store has also behaved very disrespectful toward me & others as well. I won't shop there again as I don't think they truly care about their customers at all with all their eye rolling , sighs & dirty looks they give good paying customers. I also found expired perishable foods on their shelves every time I would pop in for a shop. Poor management for sure.

I hate giving it a low star rating because I've found great items here at affordable prices and the staff is always friendly. But the hours and frequent closed days make it difficult to visit for out of towners or those who work Monday through Friday. My husband recently came in and found a half dozen pairs of pants that he would like to have purchased, but he needed to try them on and this store's signs state no dressing rooms (on the actual dressing room doors, no less). So I cannot go higher than 3 stars. Also, if you visit during their open hours and it looks closed, it's probably because they're using only the back door for entry now (as of July 2019).

They do need more stock on the shelves, and there have been several items on my list that they were out; however, everyone is short staffed and I doubt it is any different for Walmart at the moment. I do want to note that I was almost sold 1 tire to replace the current one because the nail was too close to the sidewall when they could have given me a safer ride and up sold the deal by recommending 2 tires. I was buying them for my wife's Jeep which she takes the babies in. I ended up buying a matching set, but I was a little confused on why you would only want to replace 1 tire on the back of a car, and a set that is fairly worn out too. Eh, to each his own I guess!

And then there's my mom, who's completely new to the world of online grocery ordering, and she's totally hooked (which I find amusing). Of course, with the pandemic, we're all trying to limit the amount of exposure we have to other people and even other places. This makes the grocery pickup option really effective right now... more than ever. This location is the one we've been using to get our groceries recently, as we've been staying near the lake during the quarantine for even better isolation. They do as good a job here as they would in other Walmart locations. At first I was worried it might not be as effective in a smaller town, maybe because they'd have less workers available/ on hand, or possibly have less product than somewhere like Tulsa, but none of that has been true so far. I'd say we've put in and picked up grocery orders 2 or 3 times now within the last few weeks and haven't had anything go wrong yet (knock on wood). Sure, a few items become out of stock from the time you place your order to when someone is shopping for your order, but you are always notified if something from your order has to be removed or more likely substituted for something similar. I don't necessarily see this as anything wrong with this particular location, or the pick up service in general, just something that happens when you go shopping regardless. It's possible that some items are more out of stock than normal, but it's hard to say. I think one thing people get nervous about when it comes to ordering groceries online is having someone else pick out your food, primarily when it comes to things like fresh fruit, veggies, meat, and even dairy. So far, they've done a good job with this as well. We haven't gotten anything expired or not of a good quality yet! No bruised apples, no bananas that are too ripe, or yogurt that will expire in two days. I'd definitely recommend this feature, especially now, so that we can all stay safe and help do our part to stop the spread as best we can. I might even continue shopping this way even after all of this is over... now that I've gotten back into online groceries I'm reminded how simple it is!
