Butter chicken, plain rice, chicken tika masala

This is hands down the best Indian food I've ever had. The staff was very friendly and fit us in at dinner rush with no reservation. My pictures are half eaten bc we couldn't wait. But we got the butter chicken, chicken tika masala, cheese naan and plain rice.

Child friendly and wonderful food! However the decor is kind of cheesy. My wife and I also had starters and the bill was around 1.800 CZK including a 10% tip. Not cheap for Prague.

Tandoori chicken and Butter chicken with basmati rice

The food was pretty good for an Indian restaurant in Prague. I went here based on the reviews. We ordered the tandoori chicken and butter chicken with basmati rice. The tandoori chicken came with two thighs and drumsticks and was pretty good, my sister had the butter chicken, which is like a curry but not spicy, she was expecting some kick. We ordered two bowls of rice and they were pretty huge, not like the small bowls we normally receive. Like one of the comments, we were seated right by the door because we had a party of two. We wanted to sit inside but they said it was for a table for 4. They also told my sister that their credit card machine was broken and only accepted cash, which was annoying when traveling. Luckily, I had some cash on me. Unlike the other review, our hole was on the table cloth not napkin. They now have paper napkins instead. Owner might have seen other review. Just an fyi, they also charge for water.

What a gem! Found it in a random corner in Prague and it had some of the best international Indian food ever. Ordered chicken tikka, kadai paneer and a lamb dish I can't remember and all were fabulous. Mango lassi was also a perfect mix with just enough sweet and tang. However, do NOT leave without eating the jamoon with ice cream and chocolate sauce (picture attached). Being Indian, I have high standards and this totally met it. Btw I love spicy food but this place makes it real spicy when you ask so beware :?

We had a reservation and got offered to sit next to the entrance. (Winter -2 outside). We didn't accept and endet up at a table for campers next to the bar, which wasn't nice. The food, I had chicken with spinach, was totally oily and salt was missing. They put complete cardamom seats in the dish which was too much. The napkin wasn't proper cleaned and had holes. But the best was...100 CZK for a small bike of rice. This brings the meals to 350.- CZK. WHICH IS TOO MUCH FOR THIS PLACE. Can't recommend this Indian restaurant and had much better and more authentic Indian food at other places.

I'm catching up on my reviews so no I'm not in Prague I'm in Reno. I know I know the first thing that comes to mind in Prague is not Indian but this place was lovely. I went there for lunch. The place was empty but I had been walking all morning it was time for a meal. Later I was told that Indian cuisine is still new to Prague. Most of the Indian Restaurants tend to be AYCE @ lunch but the chef wanted to keep an a la carte lunch menu. Per the waiter the joint gets jumping for dinner....well now I have another reason to go back to Prague. Located on a side street street between the new part of downtown and the old city sits this Resturant on the corner. It takes up 3 store fronts. Each room has very unique decor with tapestries, traditional 4 tops with majestic throne like chairs. The character of each room gives the feel of being a guest at a Raj's palace. The good: Crispy samosas Lush sag paneer Rich Dal Comfy dining atmosphere - I didn't want to leave Formal yet friendly service The not so good They're in Prague and I'm in the USA so I can't sample more of their menu If I'm back in Prague I will check them out. If you're in Prague give them a try!

The restaurant is located in central Prague. The personnel are very professional and knowledgeable, however I were not impressed with the food. Perhaps my expectations were too high due to the high scores from other yelpers. I ordered a standard chicken tikka masala. The one I'm used to and love for that matter have a sweeter taste then what was served here. The restaurant design felt high class and beautiful. A nice touch is the possibility to choose your spice level on a ten point scale.

Great Indian food in the heart of Prague. My girlfriend and I decided on some Indian food for our second last night in Prague, and we where not disappointed. The food was awesome, the waiter was very helpful, and I loved the interior. It was a bit on the pricey side for Prague, but we'll worth the money!

What a gem of a place! We were visiting Prague for a little city break to celebrate our anniversary. We wanted somewhere nice to eat and decided on this place as it had great reviews and was only a short walk from our hotel. We weren't disappointed! Not only was the food delicious but the service was outstanding. By far the best we experienced whilst on our trip. The waiters and waitresses were attentive, spoke immaculate English and were generally helpful and chatty. I had the butter chicken with saffron rice - being a spice lover I asked for this vindaloo style heat. It was absolutely perfect! Washed down with a Pilsner. The sauce was rich, creamy and flavoursome with a kick of chilli heat. It was paired perfectly with a crisp super garlicky naan bread. Well worth a visit! Lovely family run establishment with wonderful authentic food. Thanks guys! :-)

Once we checked into the hotel, the party of five of us wanted to find something for dinner. We walked up the block and stumbled across the Londoners, we were kind of shocked they were open, and that they could seat five of us. We were greeted immediately and re-handed menus. It was nice to see that they had a good variety of food as we did have a kid with us. Who was a little picky. We ended up getting some different types of curry. I got lamb korma, and I believe others got Tika and, another korma. The kid in our group ordered a cheeseburger with only meat and cheese. The portions were very good and the naan that came with the curry was lovely. I love European korma as it is very different from the korma we have in the states. It is more of a coconut base and is yellow instead of the brown we have here. I actually prefer the korma in Europe more so if I get the chance, I would definitely order it. Our only issue was that my nephews cheeseburger had a lot of sauce on it. That was kind of a mustard sauce. He was not very happy with it, but he did eat it since we didn't want to send it back. Overall we were pleasantly surprised, and very grateful to be able to have a nice dinner on Christmas Day. I would absolutely return.

Started with a couple of beers because you have to, and then had some staple items - a tikka masala for the wife, and a lamb vindaloo for myself. The waiter reminded me that lamb vindaloo is quite spicy, to which I replied with a smile that said "bring it on!" He wasn't kidding, but neither was I. It was very spicy, but it was delicious! My wife enjoyed her tikka masala as well, which we accompanied with basamati rice and some quite tasty garlic naan. The bar itself is simple, but it's location is great and if you're a Brit, they're really catering to you. Football on the telly? Of course! I think they had some Premier League darts on another screen, too, and you could overhear that other patrons were either British tourists or expats. Very good place, would definitely visit again on the next trek to Praha.

We ordered the butter chicken (which was okay), the mixed grill (the lamb kabobs were dry and not great, ask to substitute them, but the chicken kabobs were tender and flavorful), and the lamb biryani (quite good!). The mixed grill came with butter chicken sauce on the side, which isn't anything I have seen before, but it worked because the malai chicken boti could've used more seasoning. It was the perfect amount of food for 4 people without having to pack leftovers. My mom also ordered the mango lassi and enjoyed it (I think... see her review to confirm). The place is clean, the decor is simple, the service was pretty good. I'll stick with satisfactory.

Mixed grill: other than the lamb kabob (which was completely dry and not fresh looking/tasting at all), the 3 kinds of grilled chicken meats were reasonable. Butter chicken: also reasonable. Mango lassi was good. But we are south East Asian and know south East Asian food .... so our bar is relatively high and critique probably a little more critical. If you are not familiar with Indian food I think it is pretty good and definitely ok to try. Service was good and quick, presentation ok as well. I wish they had served grilled veggies with the grilled meats.

This alone makes it a go-to option when most kitchens are already closing or when you're craving something warm and satisfying after a long day. Walking in late and still feeling welcomed (not rushed) immediately set a good tone. The price was very reasonable, especially considering how much food you get and the level of service. This isn't one of those places where you leave still hungry or wondering where your money went. We ordered three curries, and it ended up being more than enough for two people, with leftovers to spare. The portions are generous without feeling sloppy or overdone. Speaking of service--this was a pleasant surprise. The staff was attentive and thoughtful, and the experience felt more elaborate than expected for a casual night out. They even bring out warm towels, which is a small detail but makes a big difference and gives the whole meal a more polished, sit-down-restaurant feel rather than just another quick bite. It felt like they genuinely cared about the dining experience. One thing to note: you do have to pay for water, which might catch some people off guard. It's not a dealbreaker, but it's worth knowing ahead of time so you're not surprised when the bill comes. Now, the food--easily the highlight. I was honestly surprised (in the best way) by how flavorful everything was. Each curry had depth, richness, and clear attention to seasoning. Nothing tasted flat or one-note, and the flavors felt bold without being overwhelming. It's the kind of food that makes you slow down and actually appreciate each bite. Overall, Sangam feels like one of those places you're happy to discover: open late, fairly priced, generous portions, excellent service, and food that genuinely impresses. Whether you're going with friends, on a low-key dinner date, or just need a reliable late-night spot, this place is absolutely worth checking out--and revisiting.
