My wonderful friend Serena invited me to her new favorite Korean all you can eat restaurant in Hemet ... the service was great for a new establishment , our waitress was beautiful Daisy. I have zero complaints about the quality of the food I consumed .Korean is my favorite Asian food . After our meal the manager stopped by our table to ask us how we were doing and she was awesome her name is Aria . Serena has been there every week since they opened a few weeks ago, so Aria offered us free ice cream which we had to share as we were stuffed from all the delicious food we ate. I highly recommend you try K-town Korean BBQ in Hemet . I live in San Marcos , but I'll be back to visit Serena in Hemet and I'm sure we'll visit again read more

For a AYCE Korean BBQ in hemet, this place is 5/5. Yeah we waited almost 40 minutes for a table for 7 but it was expected as this place is fairly new. Decor was dark but modern. I laughed when I saw the welcome sight looked like they swapped the W and M by accident LoL. The food was good, and plentiful as long as you keep your server taking orders. The staff was super busy and constantly running around. Even though the tip is automatic (15%), our server Max did a great job keep up with our table. Great job! The self serve bar was a bit small and had some gaps but with the amount of people getting food, it was expected. The food was really good! I think the meats could've been marinated a little longer, but they have a lot of options to choose from. The price is also fair considering it's all-you-can-eat. I also liked that the service fee is already built in and is only 15%. The restaurant also advertises that the service fee is 15% so there's no surprises. The inside is so cute and chic! Our waitress came by just enough for my liking. We also got a grill change not long after it needed to be changed, which was impressive considering how busy they were. The gyoza was yummy, and the macaroni salad was really good!! They also have glass noodles and fried rice, which were both good. The only sides I would like to have that aren't currently available are potato salad or regular salad. I loved that they keep the sauces right on the table. Super convenient! Given that they just opened on Sunday, I won't count a lot against them. The servers were polite and always checking in on us. The food was ehh. Two member in our oarty ordered the Rameyon. And it looked like bagged ramen. The kimchi was on the sweet side. The salad bar area is where you get your sides, it was limited which was concerning as we were there a little after 12pm when they opened. And due to the size, only 2 people can fit at the salad bar. There were several dishes at the salad bar area that were dirty. I am not sure how the sanitation of dishes was overlooked as there was food stuck inside the bowls and on the plates. The grill at a table occupied by other members in our party was recieved dirty. The corn cheese was more like a mini mini tester. Think of Costco samplers. Hemet was in need of this however I don't see it staying open long as you can easily go an extra 25-30 mins for more variety and not worry about sanitation. If they expand their selection, add more authenic flavors, I can see it staying around. But for those that want to stay local, this is perfect. The meats were delicious, and the service was fast and friendly. The interior was beautiful, comfortable, and the AC was definitely appreciated. The only downside for us was the automatic 15% service fee. I can see this being an issue for some people, especially since the side bar is completely self-serve, we had to wait in line for the side bar. Having an automatic service charge added when we were serving our own sides felt a little inconvenient. A lot of people go out to eat for the convenience and overall experience, so I think this is something customers should be aware of beforehand. Sorry guys this place was long awaited for but totally missed the mark for me. I went a couple days after it's opening. I was first patron at noon. I noticed I was 5th person for my waitress to actually attend to take my order. I ordered 5 items and was only brought 4 items. It took a 3rd waitress after 30 mins to finally get my order right. It took a total time of 1.5 hours to complete my dining experience which should have been about half that time. Too much time wasted for bringing me my drink and even to close me out. Food is good and up to par. However the waitresses had no experience or very little training. The people that worked in the back at the kitchen appeared to look not very clean, tidy and off the street looking. Sorry I cannot recommend this place although the food is tasty. read more

They opened 2 weeks ago and I've already been here 5 times. Once with my girl, once with a client, 2x with a coworker (different coworker each time) and last time I was there I brought my mom and sister. 10/10 would highly recommend. I think my frequent visits speak for themselves. Big portions, amazing seasoning and the service is excellent. I love the fried rice, kimchi, veggie station. I love KBBQ and other places are so stingy when you ask for anything. Here you're welcome to serve yourself. The servers are always on top of everything and since they do community tips every server is helping you. None of that " let me get your waiter for you." The staff is great, I guess I'm a regular by now , so most of them greet me by name and some even give me a hug lol. 15% is NOT a lot especially when the standard is 18% . So we usually leave a tip on top of the service fee because they really go out of your way to make your visit special. Read some of the other reviews and you can tell people haven't eaten out since Covid. Of course it's a little pricey, of course there's going to be a wait. You're getting all you can eat KBBQ. Other places have a timer as soon as you sit down and they try to rush you out. Not here, now they're not going to let you sit for 2 hours during dinner rush but they let you take your time and actually ENJOY your meal. I love it. Will be there again this weekend. read more

We dined on a Monday evening and K town was pretty busy. The staff are friendly and service was excellent l. We liked the black decor and sitting was comfortable. You can order up to 4 items and our waiter was always coming to check if we needed more items. The Korean bbq chicken on the menu is not available. I wish I could leave 0 stars. Don't waste your money here. Service was terrible. Our server was nice but seemed inexperienced, so I wont blame them too much. However, when we were sat down, they sat us at a table that wasn't wiped down yet, no plates, untensils, nor cookingware on our table. They took down our meat order before we had any cooking/eating tools. We had to ask for these things multiple times, while the meat was sitting on our table. We ordered the hot green tea and it came out luke warm. We ordered the cheese corn with our first order, it never came out. We mentioned the cheese corn everytime the server stopped at our table, it never came out. You can tell that they didnt care about our food as every plate came over filled with meat and was hanging over the edge of the plate. That meat touched our unwiped table everytime without fail. I ordered the spicy ramen to try to get some kind of food that wasn't upsetting to look at, it was boiled rice noodles in a bland "broth" underneath a thick layer of chili oil. And with this experience, they have the audacity to automatically charge a 15% "service fee". They probably know that if customers have an option, they would never leave a tip. I went in for their soft opening! Didn't expect much but the atmosphere walking in is beautiful, the air was very fresh and cold which is nice because I tend to get sweaty while slaving over the grill. I'm crazy about Korean barbecue and I want to see this place become great so I can come regularly because Hemet needed this very badly. The servers were nice enough, another review mentioned they seemed overstaffed which was true. The servers need to study the menu better but it was their first day so who can blame them. The meat was fresh and yummy. My biggest problem was the grill. As soon as we were sat down there was a tiny bit of leftover meat from the last guests around the edges of the grill (not the interchangeable plate) after 30 minutes no grill change & multiple employees walked past and saw our grill black & Smokey and I had to ask for them to come change it. Didn't make or break the visit but I feel they can definitely be more attentive about changing them before it gets too bad. By the time we got our first grill change there was lots of smoke giving me a headache. The server set the metal container on the table to put the old grill inside, and other employees were setting them on the floor which led me to wonder if they were putting something on our table that had been on the floor. The buffet area is a good idea but I am not sure about the food safety aspect of it so I only had some Kim chi from there which was a little soggy. That being said, I would come back. It was their first day and I'm sure the logistics can only improve from here. The workers do seem to care about doing a good job and being nice. I'm a connoisseur of Korean bbq, and this place is not it! The portions were small the cuts were not what they say (carne asada.. I expect sirloin flap) the egg tasted like rag water the brisket sauce was really vinegary, the sides are so limited the corn cheese was so tiny and filled with mayo and unmelted cheese. Sever was nice but got my order wrong and I kept asking for spoons (plural) and she would give one spoon. Also every 5 minutes someone had a birthday and the whole crew would sing really fuckin loud, making the experience unenjoyable. Definitely not a sensory friendly place. The mandatory 15% on top of the bill... just overpriced for the over all experience. We will not be returning. If you want Korean bbq I suggest the 30 minute drive Temecula 2n1 Korean bbq, it won't disappoint. read more

Went today for the soft opening so im gonna be gentle when it comes to things regarding service... First impression was the interior is BEAUTIFUL!!!! They definitely were prepared for a rush but honestly over staffed. Every 2 minutes someone was at our table to the point that it got a little annoying but they were all very nice. The majority of employees did not know the menu either. I would ask what something was and they had no clue. There were so many employees there that I couldn't even walk to the bathroom because they were all standing around in all the walkways. If it was not the soft opening this would have been very irritating. My biggest issue with the restaurant is the buffet table with the fried rice and everything else on it because it had some if my favorite foods and it was cold and gross every time I went to it. Came here for the first time on a thrusday at 4:30pm. There was a wait but that's expected at a korean bbq. The food was overall very disappointing. The sides are a buffet style service which makes it difficult when there's a line to grab them. The kimchi was a sweet/powder spice. The pickled cucumber was very lack luster in flavor, it tasted simply like cucumbers. The fish cake was very fishy with no sweet or spicy flavor added to it. The brisket sauce was a sweet soy sauce, that's all it was. The glass noodles and corn cheese were the only side dish I enjoyed. (I only grabbed these 5 sides) We ordered brisket and bulgogi. The brisket was fine. The bulgogi was sweet/spicy. Our server (mike???) was only seen once. He took our first order and then never was seen again. Our grill got burnt from how long we waited. We had to call over another server to grab our check and check us out. Overall I did not enjoy my experience here I rather drive the distance and go to another korean bbq. read more

If you like to have all you can eat when it says so then they lie to you and then you get hangry please don't he to this place you only have 1 hour and 30 min to be there .the service was bad . Still you have to give the server 15 percent tip even if they didn't do their job correctly . The ac was leaking and the water from the ac got into one of a customer's soup. The self serve sides were terrible . It taste like they were sitting there all day. Small portion meat like literally 1 or 2 pieces . Our server was terrible forgot what we ordered. Went during lunch hour and staff is super friendly and attentive. To be super honest though that meat was super chewy, sides were alright not much of that flavor you get from other other KBBQ places. Doesn't have to be authentic, but there was nothing appealing about it. The condiments they have in bottles were super greasy/ oily. Not attractive to have to be touching that and then eating. I was super excited about the sondubu, but ultimately tasted sink water with again little flavor. The bar was a great idea as well, those sides and meat just need better quality and flavor. We've been waiting months for this place to be open and we're so excited we finally got to try it. First impressions, visually, 10/10 the interior ambiance is great! It looks very modern and cute from the floor to the ceilings, you could tell a lot of thought and planning went into the design and the presentation of this establishment. The staff was very kind and attentive, we had many different staff checking in on us and waiting on our table and answering any questions we had. Now for the food, I think that for the price, they have a really big selection of meats, especially for the "regular" menu. Most other kbbq spots don't offer that many meats on their "regular" menu so that's nice! Portions aren't too big but with the open bar for sides, you'll have plenty of food to go around. As mentioned, there is a self serve bar for sides, which is nice as you can take what you can eat but I'd love to see them diversify their side selection as they continue to grow their business. Overall, I have really high hopes for this place! I'm giving it 4.5 stars because it's not perfect but it really has the potential to be a great gem in this town and if their trajectory continues and they maintain their momentum, there will no longer be a need to leave town for kbbq. That is a little high for Hemet to have a lunch. The warm food was cold, not even a little bit warm. They only have three kinds of kimchi. They have no boxes to go, if you need one. Me and my boyfriend love korean bbq and have tried many restaurants outside the town. However, this place was disappointing. First off, our grill was dirty when we sat down and small chunks of leftover meat and residue were left behind. We asked for a grill change immediately but even the server was trying to find a clean grill in their basket. Second, SELF SERVE BUFFET FOR SIDES. Honestly didn't work out at all. It's right next to the kitchen door and everyone is coming in and out which makes it overwhelming and fills with foot traffic. The fish cakes were dry, corn cheese the size of a golf ball, and the utensils to grab the sides were in the food itself. It seemed very unsanitary. Our service was okay except we wish we were explained of the serving process because we had no idea that we even had to get our own sides or utensils. overall SUCH a let down. Please don't let this place be your first impression of korean bbq especially in such a small town where everyone is excited for something new. read more

Two stars because the inside of the restaurant is very nice ! The meats were good & sides were good as well for the most part but the service was absolutely terrible. We got seated quickly, but nobody came to attend us. Our server was very friendly once we finally had a set server. It seemed as though every employee was checking everyone's table but ours and there was someone who could possibly be a boss. We had just finally received our first round of meat (mind you he was aware it had taken a while for us to get attended by a server) they put the flame too high so our meat was burning and we already needed a grill change after the first round. he goes "are you guys done or do you need a grill change " that's when my husband told him it was only our first round. I felt super left out considering the employees and that man were tending to everyone else but our table. I know it's the first week of them opening so I am trying to give grace but there is a lot of room for improvement. Everyone else was rude and not friendly besides our serve and I wish I got his name so I can put it here because he really did his best.
