I genuinely really liked this place the first time I visited, but the later visits weren't as good. The food felt consistent for the most part, but it is a bit on the pricey side. We had a very kind server during my first visit where she would refill our banchan sides without us asking so I thought every visit would be like that. However, my later visits resulted in our male server asking me "you know you can't to-go the sides, right?" and it honestly made me uncomfortable to ask for anymore. Took my parents here as well and they were't too excited about it, but it is good quality for the city. There's plenty of seating and it's almost like a traditional environment inside, though my mom pointed out she can smell that it's an old building...

On the way to Palm Springs, we found this hidden gem of a Korean restaurant in Temecula. Honestly one of the best Korean restaurants I've been to in a while and it's as good and authentic as the food you get in Korea! The restaurant is small but clean. Service was friendly and professional. The menu has every main Korean entree you can think of from cooked meats to soups to noodles. The side dishes were fresh and tasty. Our food was delicious. We ate everything, not one piece of rice leftover haha! We left full and happy. I wish they had an authentic Korean restaurant like this in San Diego. Temecula is lucky to have them! If we ever drive by again, I would definitely return for another meal.

Craving for Korean soup so we decided to go here for dinner. The place is small but ok because we don't have to wait in line They have the standard Korean tofu soup. Though the serving size is smaller than other places we ate before. The gambit bbq beef meat is a bit chewy and sweet. Overall I will give this experience with 4.0

I decided on Sura for lunch since i was in town and wanted something Korean and fabulous.Mission accomplished.... sort of. First off, the service was A+++, great hospitality!!! Now let's talk about the food. The bulgogi was fire!!!! OH. MY. KOGI!!!! I've had a lot of bulgogi in my 35+ years love affair w Korean BBQ, but this one? Easily top-tier!!! Melt in your mouth ribeye marinated in what I can only describe as Korean meat gold!! Sweet, savory, and sooooooo tender!!! I paired it w the Beef Soondubu, which came in hot (literally and figuratively). I asked for medium spice, but apparently Sura doesn't 't do mild here. It was more like "your mouth is now a volcano," but honestly, I loved every fiery spoonful of it!! Spicy food just hits different, like flavor in 4D!! Banchan was solid!!! Loved the bean sprouts the most. Crunchy, seasoned right, and made me feel like I was getting my veggies in between bites of molten broth and bulgogi bliss!!! BUT...............and this is a BIIIIIG BUT.... this is NOT the place to show up starving. I'm an AYCE KBBQ kinda person. I like to roll out of a Korean BBQ joint like I just lost a battle w the meat sweats. Sura, on the other hand, serves quality over quantity. Pricey, yessss!!!!! Delicious, absolutely!!! Full? ...eh, not quite. My wallet felt lighter, and so did my stomach.

Lunch after church on a beautiful Sunday and this resto never disappoints. This is THE BEST KBBQ in the valley. There galbi is to die for and I can say is high quality meat and the flavor is better than some KBBQ spots in Koreatown. I always order their galbi and Tofu combo and it's more than enough even for 2 to share!! If you haven't been here, I highly recommend this mom and pop place and let's support local business. I know you won't be disappointed!!

Located on the west of the 15 fwy in Temecula. We ordered the yuk gae jang (spicy beef soup), seollungtang (korean pho), and fried mandu. Loved everything. There is a lot of banchan! I hardly finish the whole soup, but here I did. They open until 9pm on Sunday, which is amazing. Plenty of parking, price is right, service is great...and they have soju!

A favorite Korean family spot. When craving for Korean dishes other than Korean BBQ,this is our to go place. Love so many dishes here....gamjatang,soon tofu, grilled ata mackarel, bibimbap, gimbap to name a few. Owned by a super nice couple...attentive and generous with servings. Always a happy tummy in every visit. Highly recommended!

When I can't get to ktown for comfort food, I come to Sura. It's owned by a family and totally feels like comfort food. It is not a very big restaurant but I've never had to wait for a table. Service is efficient and the food is served piping hot. They have a huge air purifier to help kept the air fresh so you don't sell like food when you leave. Tables are mostly booths which are comfy. The menu has a good section of items to satisfy almost what everyone is craving. I usually opt for the soft tofu soup combined with bulgogi. The portion is huge so I usually have lunch for the next day.

Will it be yes or will it be sorry? Bulgogi and Kalbi from #SuraKoreanRestaurant
    Mojo S.

Every now and again I want some good kalbi. There's something about the way it's cut and marinated that makes this my go-to Korean craving. At Sura, they sure had some damn delicious kalbi. I especially like the particular marinade they had this time. That being said, the bulgogi was a little lackluster and lacked much flavor, especially in comparison to its short rib big brother. It was fine, but I remarked at dinner that maybe we should've just gotten two kalbi orders. I also thought the wait for service was kind of surprising. From the time it took to seat us, to getting our order taken, to asking for refills, and to finally asking for the bill--getting someone to come to the table was just slow. It was as slow as any restaurant ever be. As someone who asks for refills on something at least two or three times a meal, this is unacceptable. If it's a matter of coverage, hire one or two more people. If it's a matter of bad attitude, that needs to be addressed in training. I hate when the food is pretty good, but the service turns out to be pretty bad. The place is nice-looking and the food is good, but I don't know if I'd ever want to come back if every ask is a struggle to get someone to fulfill it.

What a cute mom and pop korean restaurant. Very cozy spot with table service. Fresh Banchan delivered with entree. Friendly staff. Gimbap only served during lunch. Many meat and veggie options, combos available if you're undecided. Order fried sole and soon dubu soup combo, bibimbap and japchae. Rice served with every entree order.

Great food & great service, what more can you ask for? We were craving some soup & wanted Asian food & stumbled across this business. I want to acknowledge how accommodating this small mom & pop restaurant was for our big party that came in (20+ people post wedding weekend). They were champs at handling our big party & making sure all our orders were taken, our banchans were refilled, etc. I ordered the kimchi tofu soup, spicy level. To be honest, it is not that spicy, not as spicy as BCD would make it to give you an idea. Regardless, the soup was flavorful & decent amount of meat was given. The tofu soup comes with a bowl of rice. My partner ordered a beef tofu soup medium spice & also enjoyed his meal. I am impressed with how big the menu is. Everyone ordered different meals, from bibimbap to seollongtang & it all looked / smelled good!

Had dinner here at Sura Saturday night after seeing the restaurant a while ago. Wasn't too busy, got seated right away. Inside is nice and roomy, clean. Located in a shopping plaza across a newer hotel. Lots of parking. Menu is paper with photos, very easy to find what you wanna order. They offer a great selection of alcohol, I tried the Soju and it was really tasty. Owners very nice and attentive to everyone. Food didn't take too long to come out, I like how you get a little bit at a time. The banchan is so good, esp the potatoes. They offered to refill and bring us more, which we accepted, of course! We tried several dishes that were all good, portion sizes were good. Kids liked the food too. Everything fresh, delicious and hot when it came out. The tofu soup is a standout dish, the seafood combo flavors and the broth were so comforting and really hit the spot.

If looking for really good Korean BBQ, here it is! It's so great to find a really good Korean food restaurant right here in Temecula! My craving for Kim Chee and Soon tofu soup has been satisfied. Absolutely delicious. Me throughout the meal: yum, mmm so good, slurp, yum, etc. First time here I was able to talk husband into going here to eat, after sort of begging. We shared a combo of BBQ chicken and soon tofu soup, which came with the usual sides of Kim Chee, other pickled veggies, fish cake and potatoes. No left overs and we were both so full. It was all delicious! Second time here, I told husband no sharing, I want my own meal (lol). I got bulgogi beef combo which comes with Soon Tofu soup (my preference is with mushrooms). Husband ordered bibimbap. Okay, it was way too much food for me. That's okay, now I have left overs for lunch. Pairing the crunchiness of the pickled veggies with the marinated BBQ proteins and rice is a perfect match! And the Soon tofu soup was filled with delicious flavor and brings back memories of eating at a favorite place in Irvine. They cook the meat in the kitchen so no smoky fumes to deal with in dining area. Food comes out hot and perfectly prepared. Love this place!

I'm visiting for the second time, and I remembered this place having some of the best meat I've…read moreever had at a KBBQ restaurant. The cuts were high quality and not overloaded with fat. For some reason, I just never made it back here; probably because the Promenade area isn't usually along our route. Coming here tonight genuinely brightened my day. I had just finished a long shift and a commute, and all I wanted was a good, comforting meal. My nutritionist told me yesterday need to significantly increase my protein intake to help reduce muscle loss related to my autoimmune thyroid condition. KBBQ seemed like the perfect choice; lots of protein without a lot of unnecessary junk. On my way home, I stopped at two other KBBQ restaurants. Apparently, I was unaware of the unspoken rule that some places don't serve parties of one on weekends. One restaurant even had me wait 25 minutes before telling me they wouldn't seat a solo diner during the weekend. Unfortunately, my husband is currently deployed, so being a party of one isn't exactly a choice for me right now! Normally, dining alone doesn't bother me at all, but today it got to me. I was exhausted and simply wanted a comforting meal. Being turned away after waiting 25 minutes just because I by myself was the last thing I needed. When I called this restaurant, the owner or manager immediately answered and was incredibly friendly. He explained that they offer entrée and plate options for guests who aren't doing the all-you-can-eat menu. I honestly don't understand why more restaurants don't offer this. I know the food industry is competitive and businesses have to make money, but having options for solo diners makes such a difference. When I arrived, I received wonderful service right away, and there was no wait, but they were full. The owner or manager recognized me as the person who had called earlier and went out of his way to make me feel welcome since we found out we're from the same area. He even added a little surprise to my order simply out of kindness. The entire staff was friendly, professional, and attentive. In an area with no shortage of restaurants, I want to give this place the credit it deserves, not only for the excellent food, but for the heart behind the business. Today, I'm especially grateful for the kindness and generosity shown to me. You never know what someone may be going through, and a simple act of thoughtfulness can make a bigger impact than you realize. His kindness truly lifted my spirits after a long and difficult day. I believe this is a small family-owned business, and they absolutely deserve the support of the community. Great food is easy to find; genuine hospitality is much harder to come by. I'll definitely be back!

Although the choices are very limited, they offer the typical meat options that people would normally get at other locations. The menu states that there's a limit on the marinated short ribs, but the worker said that we could get as much as we wanted. The ventilation could definitely be better, but it didn't bother us that much. Our favorite part was that they provided FREE ice cream at the end of our meal which was a pleasant surprise. * Beef Brisket: 9/10 - cooks the fastest and pairs nicely with the brisket sauce * Bulgogi Beef: 9/10 - nicely marinated and tender * Beef Short Ribs: 9/10 - the best choice, but we were curious as to why it didn't come with the bones * Ice Cream: 10/10 - perfect dessert after such a very meal The place is a good size and can fit a large number of booths and grills. We came when they first opened so the workers were quite attentive, but it might be different during hectic dinner times. They're located in a small lot with the gas station and other shops so parking might be tough. Considering this is one of the few KBBQ places in the area, we were happy with our experience and would definitely consider coming back!

Noodle consistency is great with their Blaze or Classic ramen options, as the broth tends to be a little thicker and creamier than the Shoyu option. If you're not in the mood for noodles, they also offer regular or large rice bowls, which come with amazing flavor profiles all on their own. At a glance, the 'regular' size option might seem like an insignificant portion, but rest assured it comes ready to satisfy the types of diners who'd prefer to taste a little of everything. My only critique would be on the sushi selection. It didn't taste so fresh, but then again this place is obviously not named Silverlake Sushi, so I'll rest my case on that note.
