To the 1st review…read more Maam, I am an employee at 4 paws and I would like to address this review. First, I would like address the 'aloof and disorganized ' comment. I assume you were referring to the young lady that checked you in. She is our newest employee. She is fresh out of grooming school and young. Im sure she was unorganized and confused but she is learning a whole new job and our procedures. She is a shy young lady and is progressing nicely. I'm sorry if her lack of experience was less than acceptable for you. If you would have expressed your concern we would have been more than happy to have a senior staff member check you in. Next I would like to apologize for a groom that you found to be sub par. We would have greatly appreciated your concerns when you picked your dog up and paid. We would have been more than happy to correct and grievances you had about your groom. As far as the groin being shaved to the skin, that is standard in all the grooming facilities that I know. It's a sanitary service. We also shave the anus. We realize that your pet is extremely important to you and the money that you pay for its groom should be worth what you expect. But if you don't point out your concerns then we can't fix them for you. I dont remember the circumstances of that day but you must understand that everyone has their bad days. We would have been more than happy to correct anything that you found unsatisfactory but you didn't come forward. As far as the 'verbal assault' pertains, I think that's a little harsh. It's upsetting to us as a buisness to see a client looking for recommendations and then singling our business out as a 'do not recommend because I've tried them'. That reflects poorly on the buisness that we have worked very hard in to gain our great reputation. 20 years as a small business is remarkable, especially for a grooming shop. Again, if you would have verbally expressed your unsatisfaction then we could have more clearly addressed this situation. Its very easy to misconstrue the inflection in a written message. We rely on the feedback of our clients, both good and bad, in order to better our clients experience and progress as successful business. Im sorry that you weren't happy with your experience but if we are not informed of a concern then we cannot rectify the problem and make your experience better.

Today I got up super excited for an interview and made my way to Foolish heart farm…read more I arrived with a friend who brought me to the interview for support and so I could get an overall feel of the location before driving there on my own if hired since its out in the middle of no where. All of the parking spots were full so we parked on a slot of grass next to the rest of the cars. (We did not want to block the rest of the cars or the road way and my understanding is to park next to all cars. It is a farm so that would be most people's thoughts. The owner stormed out of the office building and YELLED with an extremely angry voice and aggressive body movement and said "DO NOT PARK ON MY YARD" I told her I was extremely sorry where would she like me to park. She said "ANYWHERE ON THE ASPHALT." Again, very angry, loud, and aggressive. So we parked on the asphalt but it blocked the roadway of the property but that is what she requested of me after she yelled at me so we did that. I walked up to the office building and said "Hello, I am here for the job interview." She replied "Well yes but you parked in MY YARD!". I told her I was extremely sorry and that I thought that's what I needed to do so I didn't block the road way or the parked cars and considering it is a farm I thought parking on a small slab of grass next to the rest of the cars was okay. She looked at me and said very angrily "It's just common sense not to park on my yard!" Looked over to a younger lady in the room and said "right just common sense, right?!" The younger lady said "yes." I apologized again and she yelled "WELL SIT DOWN!" and pointed her finger to the chair for the interview. I said "Okay ma'am, I am not longer interested I hope you have a nice day." She said "WELL GOOD!" I walked back to my car and left in tears. She was very unprofessional, rude, aggressive, and not respectful what so ever. Also, considering all of the other reviews I've read about this place and the owner, I'd say I dodged a bullet. She was so angry and aggressive that I thought she was going to put her hands on me. She also needs to be arrested for the animal abuse that she commits on the dogs according to past employees. I believe it with the way she acted like she was gonna put her hands on me with the screaming and yelling along with the aggressive charging at me. I am deeply sorry for anyone who has gone through a traumatic experience here. You did not deserve it and I am trying to save people from not having to go through what I did.

We used Platinum Dog Grooming from the time they opened and enjoyed them greatly. Unfortunately,…read morethey have been bought out by the K9 Inn. We brought our dog there on Aug 3rd, 2022, not knowing Platinum had been bought out. There was no sign of any price increases and they did not inform us of those increases at drop off time. With the old owners in charge, they would call us three, or sometimes four hours later to come pick up our dog. The new owners called a mere 1.5 hours later to pick up our German Shepherd and she didn't smell fresh like Platinum owners made her smell. They told me it would be a extra $10 for two squirts of fragrance. Fragrance? She should be cleaned properly so you don't have to put fluffy perfume cover-up on the dog. We declined the "cover-up" and asked for the total. The gentlemen asked me how much we paid before. I told him $50. He said it would be $55 as they had to raise prices. Ok, we accepted that, but barely two days later our inside dog smelled like she did when we brought her for the bath. Didn't understand why but we presumed that maybe because they had her out in one and a half hours versus three hours likely had something to do with it. So today, September 14, 2022, we tried again thinking last time they were new at the business and maybe they just had a bad day on August 3rd. When I picked our dog up this afternoon I asked what type of shampoo they used last time because she smelled two days later. The clerk said she'd check and came back to tell me they used a different type of shampoo on her today. It was time to pay and, of course, I thought it was $55 like last time. The lady then told me it would be $85. I'm sorry, what? For what? The clerk informed me, "We used the Dremel to do her nails". I replied I never asked for that service, so she removed the fee. Then she told me the new price was now $65. What? Why? "Because she is a big dog", said the clerk. I decided not to argue with her about $10, but to instead "vote with my feet" so I paid $65 but we will never return. Here's a suggestion. Why not tell everyone you, for the second time in as many months, have raised the prices! I departed for home but driving down the road, I had to drop the windows because our dog smelled like the perfume counter at the department store. I will be looking for another place for her to have a bathed. If you decide not to heed my warning and venture inside to have any kind of pet treatments performed, BUYERS BEWARE and make sure you pin K9 Inn down on the price before you drop off your four-legged family member.
