Her techniques are spot on. I highly recommend her for any kind of massage, but even more so for lymphedema. After my initial treatment my lymphedema was completely manageable. With her dual certification MLD and CDT, she is qualified to work on lymphedema patients medically. Many massage therapists wouldn't take me as a client due to the severity of my lymphedema. Tammy was supposed to come to our hotel room and give my wife a 60 minute massage. This did not happen. Did she give us a weeks notice? A couple days? No. Not only was the cancellation call about an hour before the appointment, but she didn't even have the professionalism to call us!! She called the hotel and fortunately they were able to get a hold of us because we were out at lunch. She didn't give a reason, didn't apologize, just said "I'm not coming". Apparently this has happened before with massages that were booked through the hotel. But, I booked this directly through Tammy and she should have had the nerve to call me. I sent her an email the morning of to confirm the appointment. When did she respond? A week later... AND got my wife's name completely wrong. If I could give negative stars I would. No one should rely on her, go somewhere else and avoid the time waste and disappointment.

A LOT of LMTs fit the bill. Vickery Holistic Massage won out simply because it was really close to my house. I enjoyed the first - and only - massage I got from Brandey. Unfortunately, the night before my next appointment she texted to let me know she was sick. Hey, I get it - we all get sick. No problem. She offered three available times to see her on the following weekend (5 days later). I chose the Saturday at 8AM appointment. She texted back to confirm. On Saturday I arrived at the office at 8:04am to find nobody there (yep, I was 4 minutes late but didn't think it would be an issue). I knocked a few times even though it was dark inside. I wondered if she figured I was a no-show and may be in the restroom or something, so I waited around for a few more minutes. I didn't bring my phone with me so I couldn't call or text, nor could I see if she had contacted me at the last minute with some emergency or if she was still sick. I ran back home to see if there were any messages from her. I hadn't received any messages or texts. I sent her a text at 8:18am to let her know that I had gone to my appointment and that I didn't see anybody there. I could see that she read the text at 8:38am. Unfortunately, she NEVER REPLIED! It's now two days later and I still haven't heard a word from her. This was also a huge inconvenience because I had to get a referral from my doctor for my massages. I paid out of pocket for my first massage to make sure I liked it. When I knew that I was happy with her services, I asked my doctor for a prescription. I have a prescription for massage therapy with Vickery Holistic Massage, but certainly won't be using it now. I'll be looking for somebody more reliable. It's too bad. I enjoyed my first massage but her lack of professionalism and respect left a very bad taste in my mouth. I'm really surprised because there are a TON of massage therapists with great reviews in the area that accept my insurance. I would think that with that much competition that she'd be a little more conscientious about keeping any clients she can get.

Then, as I was ready to leave, I handed the gal a 20% tip. 20% She looked at the $20 bill and said, "NOT ENOUGH". I said, "What ??" and she then said, "30% need ten more dollars. You pay $100 so 30% is $30 and you need to pay $10 more." When I said No, she got huffy and turned her back and walked away. 20% was a fair and generous tip. To have her demand more was really not okay.
