One of the employees asked if there was anything I was looking for and since he was working where Star Trek would have been, I told him. They had none on the floor. He directed me to the man behind the counter, where they keep the pricier comics. Yikes! But they weren't crazy pricey. I ended up with two. The two men in the back reminded me of the two owners of a bookstore I frequented in the States, both were kind and friendly. The man running the register up front was just as sweet and kind. I didn't exactly have the best experiences in comic stores back in the states, and I was a bit daunted by this place. But everything was so different from my past experiences. I loved it!

I found my beloved Moulin Roty toys here to give to my son. Also you will find handmade unique and slightly creepy art throughout the building. Bonus points for the store with all of the "magic" tricks and gags - the fake poo was surprisingly realistic looking. They also sell packages of the paint pens. as well as your other generic hobby paints and equipment. They also sell: Takara Beyblades (the japanese brand that makes beyblade) and accessories. As far as I know the beyblades vary in price depending on which one you want to get. I can't say for sure how much they average around since I have no interest in buying one. Trading cards (yugioh, pokemon, etc...), along with deck boxes, and sleeves. Plushies A few anime trinkets (near the entrance) like key chains and wallets. I love their rating system, and the staff of course are very knowledgeable with recommendations. We ended up buying a few of the games when we got back home since we didn't have room in our suitcase. Since my fiancé is the DM of our D&D game, he got inspired by the books, minis, and scheduled games that take place at the shop. Such a neat place... We'd definitely be regulars if we moved here but for now, we'll settle on making this home base on our future trips to Vancouver.

Prices are also more competitive than the other Japanese stores. Btw, they have discounted items that are near expiring that is crazy excellent pricing and I've never had an issue with. Free street parking on the front, next to a salon, and a sports racquet store.
