I've been using this facility for over 30 years and rarely ever have a problem, but recently I…read moremissed an appointment and called about an hour afterwards explaining what had happened and they said: that's all right it happens at times and was gracious about it over the phone. Then this past week I received a letter stating the Patient No Show Policy. Stating that I missed an appointment and what is going to happen should I miss a second one and forbid I miss a 3rd appointment as a possible dismissal from the practice as per VMG Dismissal Policy. It must be nice for them to believe that we all live in a perfect world! What time frame if any is this rule applied to? Three missed appointments within a month, 6 month or a year or in my case over 30 years? There are going to be times when the circumstances in life can occur that may cause a person to miss an appointment without a chance to call 24 hours ahead of time.

So I called in Monday to schedule an appointment and Dr. Melter refused to see me because they were too busy even though I had a grandma seizure. They told me to go to urgent care or the ER which I did and that they would order all the bloodwork or whatever I needed. They ordered the bloodwork, but they did not order a glucose meter glucose tabs or glucose strips being that I had a seizure due to low blood sugar. When I talked to Dr. Melzer on Monday, he told me because I missed past appointments that he would not send in the prescription. The reason I missed those appointments is due to traumatic brain injuries and I do not have a good memory. He was completely rude, completely irresponsible and vindictive. I wouldn't question one thing that that woman said. I wouldn't put anything past this man. I mean, I'm retired disabled vet and that's how he treated me. It would not surprise me. In fact he did, but that's not my business my businesses. He was very rude and he put my life in danger by not prescribing those life-saving tools./prescriptions. I tried rating zero stars because that's what he deserves quite frankly. It's a shame they don't let you.

I am advising you to do your research on this QUACK. I have been seeing him for less than TWO YEARS. The experiences have been strange, weird, and unprofessional. When called back in the patient room, you would wait and wait. THEN once Dr. Quack aka "Michael E. Meltzer DO" would come in, he was always in a rush, he once went thru AT LEAST 6 OR MORE prescription blanks because he was not focusing on the patient and worrying about getting his "girlfriend" to the airport on time! Then said, "To come back because, he kept messing up, and could not concentrate, and was in a rush to leave." This is 110 percent true! ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION "Dr. Michael E. Meltzer DO", I kid you not, he had actually SEXUALY HARRASED ME WHEN GIVING ME MY DEPO INJECTION, by saying things like "ok, give me that tookus" or "ok, give me that butt cheek" and the one that really bothered me was "ok, turn around , bend over and give me a cheek!!!!!" Then when you would "see" him, you're not REALLY "seeing" him. Because his mind is NOT WITH YOU IN YOUR APPOINTMENT, it always felt like "rush, rush, rush, get them in get out." Moreover, he is literally thinking of the next appointment, how you would know this was because he would be mumbling something and when asked; what I did not hear what you said, he would reply, "Oh I'm just thinking of something else! Which then backfires on you when you're trying to talk to him and tell him things, he doesn't listen and thinks your intentionally lying to him if he "finds something out" When you've already told him, it's not the patients fault if your "doctor" isn't listening. I AM NOT A LIAR, and called me one. His bedside manner is ATROCIOUS! Patients are nothing but dollar signs to him and his practice. He's constantly canceling and rescheduling your appointments, because" something came up, he has to take his girlfriend somewhere" and you've had the appointment scheduled for at least three months and he cancels them at very last minute, like the before and even the day of!!! Then he punishes patients and calls them liars, when in return he is actually the LIAR. HE IS A FAKE, PHONY, UNORGANZED, LYING FRAUD, AND SEXUALLY HARRASES; I am assuming all his women patients, because he did it to me. Heed this warning current patients, potentially new patients, STAY AWAY, HE IS ONLY A D.O, so because his education is limited, he treats his patients as if there only his next paycheck. Do your research, take the warning, and do not go there! Find a more qualified individual, because he is not a quality doctor by ANY means. Caveat Emptor- BUYER BEWARE

I came into the office feeling so sick from my issue and these beautiful people took me right in and I have to let the entire community know that Dr George Achebe helped my problem, I was in great pain and he gave me the correct medicine I needed, I started my meds on Friday and it's Sunday I feel so much better, Thank you Dr George you're the best!!! I needed some meds for a virus I was fighting off and I moved to the area without a clue as to who I could go to. They do work with Aetna if you were wondering and the service is outstanding. Dr. Achebe is personable and he answers whatever questions you may have. I didn't get a bad vibe from him at all. Actually, the complete opposite. Don't let appearances fool you. The staff is inviting as well. If only they updated a bit. I guess we can't have everything in life.

Took my mother for her annual appt. From what I see, this doctor services the elderly…read more The staff is very good with them. But this is the first time I've seen so many complaining elderly. It can be a comical show. And that's starting with my own 86 young mother. I had to ask them to reduce the air temperature cause she was freezing. Ten mins later, someone else was too warm. So I told her to turn it back down, and we went and stood out front for a few. And when we returned it at a much bearable temperature, I played mediator for a few folks who kept telling the receptionist they could not hear her when she spoke to them. So I used my more baritone voice that their hearing aids could pick up. I'm happy to assist my elderly. Meanwhile, my mom is in my right ear asking me why I am helping them? Got to love her. All in all, it is a good place and takes a lot of patience to handle what they deal with. Though this is an hour from me. With God's will and I get in my 70s, I hope my doctors are as friendly. Clean facilities. This office, I think, is only 1 doctor. So I feel he over books. To have so many scheduled within 15 mins is not good. The patients move slowly and need to talk.
