Injectables can be a very nerve wracking thing, but the nurse who helped me, Raquel was so kind and sweet. She made an assessment based on what I told her I needed the most help with and helped to make me feel more confident in my skin. Raquel was so gentle with her injectables, it didn't feel like anything! The place is really well kept and clean, which is definitely something you'd want to see when going to a medspa. After we were done, the staff asked me how everything was to ensure that I had a good experience (in which in fact I did). They're located in a plaza where parking is pretty easy too, which makes it a a plus! A few weeks later and I'm loving my results so far. However if you see Mandy like I do, she is there all week, which I was glad she stayed on as I really didn't wanna find a new neurologist as she's really good at bedside manner, friendly, will answer all your questions and puts you at ease when you get your three month dose of migraine injections. The office staff has also made a few changes since my last review, which actually puts your mind at ease knowing they are making it easier for you to see your doctor, instead of getting a call saying they have to push your appointment back for whatever reason. Also if you park around back in the lot and walk through the doors, they are the first door on the left past the stairs. The waiting area is a little small, so it's best to just come alone unless you need to bring someone. They do have a bench outside the door that you can sit and wait if there isn't any room inside.

They recommended I contact my insurance to find a new provider. I called my insurance and they said my doctor was still listed as in network and they didnt understand why I was being denied services. I'm not sure what is going on but if heritage sierra refuses to work with PPO insurance plans they need to review their contract, and doctors at their practice should be removed from the insurance network list. I was never notified of any changes prior to today and am now left scrambling to find a new doctor.

I scheduled a first-time consultation with Dr. Sofia Avitia for 12/26/2025. I made this appointment back in September! Then, on Wednesday 11/26 I received a call in the afternoon informing me that the doctor would not be available on 12/26 and that I would need call to reschedule. When I called them back on Monday 12/1 after returning home Thanksgiving vacation, I was told the next available appointment was March 6th!!! Keep in mind, I'm seeking this appointment because I'm having swallowing issues. So after scheduling in September, I now cannot be seen until March, which comes out to reaching a six-month window. This is exactly why I say the scheduling situation has almost become laughable and completely unacceptable. I went ahead and grabbed the March 6 appointment just in case I cannot find another doctor sooner, but given my symptoms, I have no choice but to search for someone who can see me within a reasonable amount of time. Considering the inconvenience, I expected at least some level of priority, but instead I felt like I was treated as if I were calling to make an initial appointment all over again. What is really going on at Facey? It is now almost impossible to make any appointment at a reasonable time. I honestly believe they will soon reach a six month scheduling window, which is crazy.
