I had already met my deductible for the year, yet when I arrived for my appointment, I was charged a $150 copay. First, I've never had a copay that high. Second, I showed the front desk my insurance app, which clearly indicated that my deductible had been met. Despite that, I was directed to billing and reluctantly paid so I could keep my appt. Several days later, I'm still trying to get my refund. The billing department says they're waiting to verify everything w/the insurance company - that doesn't make sense because the claim has already been paid. (Again clearly shown on my app) Which also shows I owed $0.00. I need to schedule injections, but I won't do so until this billing issue is resolved. If they can't , I'll be looking for another doctor.

She has been open…read moreand receptive to most of the discussions we've had, however I do believe her practice she works for (East Valley Diabetes and Endocrinology) is completely and utterly inept. She is excellent for my care of type 2 diabetes. I used to take Metformin and due to the absolute severe diarrhea it constantly gave me it made life difficult. Dr. Panday transferred me over to Mounjaro and it's been great ever since. I am less impressed with her TRT therapy, though I have to give a little leeway here as most docs are just not well informed on replacement therapy. I will add to this that I am not looking for super high levels. Untreated my test levels were at 205ng/dl, which are well below the ADA thresholds of 300ng/dl for replacement therapy being a recommendation and I did two separate tests in the morning fasted as designed. My gripes are that she is constantly trying to adjust my dosage, rather than just sticking with a dosage so my body is constantly just trying to keep up with the changes rather than finding a nice homestasis. Granted my free test is still slightly above reference range, but again free testosterone has about a 30 minute half life and fluctuates greatly and it's only minorly over whereas my total test levels are dropping into the 600's which is a bigger concern to me. As long as I feel good, my bp is controlled and hematocrit is within tolerance I should be fine to continue a stable dosage. Before her my primary was treating me and just kept my dosage at 120mg/week split into two doses (I still mourn every day my primary moved away). On top of that she requires that I see her every 3 months "due to a controlled substance" which is complete malarkey, the only truth is that you have to do refills every 3 months you can't auto-refill like other medications vs controlled substances. This is an absolute shameless tactic of a medical office to increase billing charges. So as a result I will be taking my test back to my primary at the same office or returning to a TRT clinic, ironic since they have absolutely zero qualms handing out a 200mg/wk dosage without any issues. So all in all she's pretty decent. Her practice just sucks.

After waiting patiently for two months for my medical appointment, I arrive at the clinic only to find out I'm not even in their system. To make matters worse, the lady at the front desk, far from showing any empathy or trying to find a solution, had a terrible attitude and just told me my insurance wasn't accepted there--something they couldn't even verify with certainty themselves. Their only "solution"? For me to go home and wait another two months for a new appointment. They did absolutely nothing to help. It is shameful to see what the medical system in this country has come to. Patient care and respect for people's time are alarmingly poor. No one should have to go through this kind of emotional drain when it comes to their health. I do not recommend this place at all; look for an option where they actually treat you like a human being. Quick tip: Just like in the Spanish version, adding the specific department or doctor's name at the very beginning can make the review even more effective. I hope you find a doctor's office that treats you with the professionalism you deserve!
