They had breakfast and lunch for us as well as a bar and restrooms. We were there around Thanksgiving, so there can be whales. Unfortunately, we didn't see any Wells but we did see some cool dolphins and a lot of flying fish. Our team was awesome. And we had a great day. I was a little concerned about getting up so early and into the water, but it was warm. And the time went by fast. I really feel like if we would've went on a shorter one it would've been too short.

The people who checked us in were friendly and efficient, and so was the crew on the boat. The food and drinks on board weren't bad at all - actually, everything was quite tasty. I admit stabbing a piece of chicken isn;t easy if the boat hits a swell while you're doing it, and the same goes for getting that bite safely in your mouth. But, you rapidly get used to it and it ceases to be a problem. The cruise itself, i.e. the motion of the boat was a lot smoother than some people told us it would be, the views were spectacular, and as mentioned everyone from Body Glove's staff treated us great. This was one Big Island tour opportunity that was well worth the money, and we highly recommend it.

The best experience ever! Our original trip got canceled,…read morethey explained it to is ahead and even helped reschedule within our travel constraints and made it super fun. Some of us were experienced swimmers and some super scared of water. Overall it was the absolute highlight of our trip. Jordan and Ula were our guides and they were super funny, kept us safe and comfortable the whole time.

First off, they provide all types of floatation devices - life jackets, noodles etc. This was the deal breaker for us and that's why we chose them. Making a reservation was fairly easy. Once we arrived, parking was super easy, they have a big lot and parking was free. We were given all the floatation devices, snorkel masks etc to help us get started. The boat itself was big. It was loaded with snacks, soft drinks and water. We took the boat out to the captain cook bay. The ride itself was super fun. We saw dolphins, grotto and interesting birds on the way to the bay. Once we were at the bay, we quickly changed into our swimsuit, put on the snorkeling gear and jumped into the water. The boat also had a slide. The water itself was perfect temperature. We saw plenty of fish - zebra, trumpet, urchins etc. It was truly spectacular. The fish were swimming all around me and the experience was amazing. Right after the snorkeling experience, the tour guide served sandwiches for lunch. Being a vegetarian, I was happy to find out that they had made some vegetarian sandwiches too. They also had pickles, garlic ranch and chips as sides. The lunch was not too heavy and not too light. It was the right amount. They also had pleasant background music throughout the trip. The ride back was equally fun and smooth. If you are looking for a snorkeling experience, I highly recommend this tour!

This is right on the cruise terminal port and quite easy to walk to. The check in area is in a hotel called Courtyard King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel. I would recommend to check in early as 15 minutes before your tour departs, they guide you to the water shuttle. Once you get on the water shuttle, it takes you to the submarine. You need to be able to climb a ladder to get into the submarine. The space is a little on the tight side and there are no backs to the seats so work on your abs before the trip! The air inside was cool and constantly recirculating so it did not feel stuffy. Everyone gets their own porthole to look into the ocean and there are fish identification cards in front of you. The submarine can get to 100 ft pretty quickly and I was surprised that my ears did not get plugged up. We saw lots of fish that day. Some get really close to the submarine. We even saw a school of fish! My only disappointment is color. At those depths, everything has a blue tinge so sometimes it was hard to identify the fish. The operators and tour guides were so nice and informative. This was one of the best tours I've had on this trip. Thanks again for a great excursion!

We went down over 100 feet, and we saw so many different types of fish as well as two shipwrecks! Our guide, Eden, was full of helpful information about the sea life and local culture and history, and she was unendingly patient with one of my kids who had a million questions for her. She didn't mention tips, but at the end, she got a lot of cash from all of us because she absolutely crushed the tour. My only nits were 1) finding the meeting place was not obvious because it's inside the neighboring hotel-- not sure if we missed those instructions somewhere. And 2) we donked our heads twice when looking out the viewports when we were looking at some fish-- not because the submarine was moving too fast, we just got excited looking at fish hah. Anyway, some padding would have gone far. Anyway, I know it seems touristy, but this one is actually worth it-- so much that we've done it twice over a couple decades!
