I have used Kaiser lock and Key for years and have recommended them. But I had a terrible time trying to arrange for them to replace our existing door lock with a keyless one. The woman I spoke to was very unresponsive, and seemed uninterested in my business. I had to call back several times. I contacted someone else and got same day service. If I was able to leave 0, I would. I usually support local businesses but the lady (I am assuming the owner) was so rude. I have a blank that goes with my ATV and it FITS in the ATV, it comes straight from a Polaris Dealer. I was told to come here instead of waiting for the manager over at the Ace Hardware nearby. She looked at me and pretty much told me it would not work. She "showed" the grooves are incorrect and how she can't do it. I went home to make sure that the blank fits inside the ATV itself and it does. I called to let her know and she kept trying to tell me she believes me, I doubt it. No. Don't Went out of my way to come back another day after there wasn't a locksmith in the office. When I come back guy doesn't cut specially ordered key to fit car lock so starts fiddling with different locks on the car, filing between attempts. He jams locks and I ask him about what's happening and he gives me the non fitting keys and says "I know what I'm doing and you're in a hurry so forget it" If you go out of your way to hit this local shop maybe they won't fit your keys either. My cousins had just completely locked themselves out of their house and could not get back in without breaking a window. I called late on a Thursday afternoon and left a message. On Friday morning I called around 9 and talked to an employee. I told him we needed three locks rekeyed. He asked for our address and what kind of key - Schlage. We waited, waited and waited. We decided to call Buffalo Lock and Key and they scheduled us the next afternoon. The work was done in a professional manner. Kaiser finally called back 2 weeks later. I couldn't believe how poor their customer service was. I could not recommend Kaiser to anyone. read more
