I have been a member of Kaiser Permanente for over 40 years. I went to the Redlands Kaiser Permanente Medical Office since it was nearby to my home. Dr Isaac Saroia is my Family Practice Physician. I can't say enough about him. He is kind, knowledgeable and very comforting. I was having some problems with pain in my shoulders and knees. He scheduled X-rays and a Bone Scan. He offered injections and I was a bit scared at first, but he was so gentle, did not hurt at all. I have since moved to Menifee and I just can't bring myself to go to the nearby Kaiser Medical building for my injections. I travel close to 2 hours one-way to see Dr Saroia because he is that GOOD. I am leaving a review today because of what a good experience I had at the laboratory in kp Redlands . I have had some bad experiences here before of being stuck multiple times by more than 1 phlebotomist but I was drawn by Barbara this time and she was great! She was friendly, professional,got my blood on the first stick and I didnt feel a thing! I wish they had more phlebotomists like her. She is a great asset to this lab. Previously my wife told me that her doctor steam rolled her when they first met which was in January. I decided to tag along today and provide support if we felt that the doctor wasn't understanding my wife's concerns. Straight to the point Dr. Anupam Marwaha was the most combative and dismissive doctor I've ever met. My wife couldn't finish a sentence without being cut off. She consistently told my wife that what she was saying was wrong and head zero empathy for her situation. Out of respect I didn't get too involved as I didn't want to make my wife uncomfortable but in the middle of her talking down to my wife I chimed in and said "this ridiculous" to which the doctor said "I agree". I called at 9 AM to get an in person appointment because my assigned doctor in Redlands has zero appointments available online & she told me I have to call first thing in the morning. Are you kidding ? Am I trying to win concert tickets. I had an appointment 3 months ago for my shoulder. I saw a random doctor because mine is unavailable & she told me to ice it. Three months later I still can't move it. If I need to be seen in person I have to go to Urgent Care in Riverside or Fontana. I live in Moreno Valley. What am I paying them for ? This place sucks. This review is specifically for the OBG department. I been waiting for over an hour to a scheduled appointment. I'm 8+ months pregnant and starving. I had to knock on the door to get an update. This is ridiculous. Doctors are always rude. Didn't get my 20 week scan I had to schedule it, because they didn't catch it and I also do not have a birth plan on file. Because the info was never given to me. I also refused the flu shot and the doctor straight up said we have a pregnant woman refuse the flu shot and the baby died within 20 days....are you f f****** kidding me?! Look at my record I've had miscarriages prior and that's the last thing I want to f****** hear. After that, I'm over this entire staff. Slow and rude, can never get a hold of a doctor even after you get you results emailed to you and it's clearly something to be concerned about. I had to call everyone and schedule an emergency US because they don't read their email and even when they get back to you they don't answer your questions. I will not be going though Kaiser ever again. read more

My wife has been having abdomen issues it's all started last years This past few days she has a gnawing pain just right below the right rib. Did not notice any Murphy sign but you can tell she's not comfortable, today was Tuesday. Friday and stuff continues I asked how about your bowel Movements have you had one? We tried miralax and oatmeal usual stuff .. increased water intake and mobility. And none .. I gave her an enema and still .. She left a message to her provider who was out of town. Requested golytly. I've tried them before and it does clean you up. Kaiser nurse returned call .. I believe her name as Donna which I intend to find out her real full name .she talked to my wife , "this is ridiculous and not necessarily need a call she says no doctor would give you this "It's embarrassing that you even made a request. First of All: nurse Donna you don't get to talk to any wife like that! It's demeaning and out right not professional your personal opinions does not judge my illness and my symptoms. There are hundreds of reasons if you are an educated registered nurse you would have continue to assess my wife symptoms. Kaiser has invest to have the best staff and give a caring and sympathetic answer and not condescending. With your answers today you have not only made my wife miserable you also made her degraded. Horrible Experience with Dr Lee, this guy walks in the appointment with two chicks that are his students with a smirk on his face. Cuts me off not even 15 seconds into explaining my symptoms and pain history. Rest of the 15min appointment was just more of me trying to explain and him cuts me off every time he gets. Rushes me out soon as possible what a tool. I emailed Dr. Killen about an injury my daughter had. He emailed back WITHIN 30 minutes with an XRAY order to rule out a fracture. After my daughter completed the XRAY we emailed back just to see if he can review the image as we were going out of state. Again he emailed us back WITHIN 30 minutes saying everything was fine. Her toe may be sprained but we can hit the road, no follow up care needed. I know this turn around time may not be realistic for all Providers but whatever Dr. Killeen's office is doing, is really good! Best Pediatrician around!! read more

Her kindness and care put me at ease and she gives me great confidence knowing I am in protective hands. She is patient and attentive with my excessive questions and gives of her time to ensure that I understand procedures, results, and expectations. My husband and I are fortunate to be Dr. Han's patients. The Redlands office is local and convenient, and the wait time for services and prescriptions is minimal. Every time I deal with Kaiser I'm impressed by the speed and communication between all of their facilities, and today was no exception... so I finally decided to take the time to leave a review. Everyone I have ever dealt with at the facility has been nothing but courteous, especially at the pharmacy. I had made a mistake today - which I should have had to take the time to resolve - but instead some employee's took time out of their day to help a little more than was probably necessary. This isn't the first time someone at the Kaiser Redlands Medical Office has taken the time to go above and beyond for me. I am very glad why wife talked me into making the switch to Kaiser, because I was very happy at my previous medical group, but Kaiser is even better. read more

I am tired of Kaiser. It's nearly impossible to get an appointment with a doctor in any department. And even when you do, you will likely be sent away with a bunch of suggestions you could have found on google. They will not be keeping up with your prescription list either. If you need a refill, ask about 2 weeks before you need it otherwise you will be left with empty bottles. I tell everyone Kaiser is one big fat joke. read more

Love going to this Kaiser the staff are typically nice and very helpful and it's always a quick visit the next most common Kaiser we use is Fontana and it's always an all day affair, this Kaiser though is very relaxed and they call your name almost right when you sit down they're that quick with processing you! It's also very clean, quiet and an overall relaxed experience, the only downside is that's it's a smaller location and doesn't have all the equipment but they will help get you sent to the proper location (typically Fontana) but I've never had an issue with them not transferring correctly or "dropping the ball". I was at Kaiser Redlands for my omnicron vaccine. Unfortunately, the vaccine is not available in the city I live in or the county for that matter and not available at my usual doctor office in Colton. Parking was easy and ample. Check-in people were friendly and professional. My wait was only a few minutes. I had an appointment but arrived early. They still took me in. The nurse that did my shot was so good I didn't even feel it. She told me she was done. I was amazed. She was good. I joked around with the attendant that I didn't get a sticker and they gave me one and two masks. The nursing staff was laughing and made my whole experience as great as it could be. read more

I live in Beaumont, I'm a single mom and I work full time. For this reason I did a video visit with my doctor who sent a prescription to Redlands. Getting out to Redlands on their hours is very hard. Made it so I could drive out on a Saturday got there close to noon. As I walk up the security guard locks the door. Yes, she saw me. I'm guessing so she can make sure she clocks off on time. I went in the other door for the pharmacy and got yelled at. I tried to explain I drove far just to get one prescription. She said they have a screening process. That's fine but I was locked out. She said she would have the guard let me in so I could enter correctly but had no intention of doing so. I waited at the main door as the guard came around with the woman from the pharmacy who pointed and said "her". Same guard that locked me out. Again explained my situation and with a smirk the guard said you should of gotten here earlier. Repeated I came from Beaumont and there's no pharmacy's near me. This or Palm desert. The guard shrugged and said "you can go to fontana" and with a smirk like my situation was funny to her. I'm glad She and the woman in the pharmacy could have a laugh at my expense. It's so sad that's how they treat people when they're suppose to be helping and caring for people. I'm so disappointed in the lack of caring and heart. I drove home in tears over how they treated me. I won't ever go back there...if it means switching doctors and driving out to Fontana then I will. The only ER and urgent care is out there anyways and they've always tried to HELP people. I think the doctors are becoming too reliant on the computer and losing the ability to take actions on their own. I started getting treatment for back pain in 2008 in Sacrament where I had great care. I moved to Kaiser south and have not had any diagnostics on my back since. I hate having to tell a doctor what I need to have done, that is why he has that degree. read more

I went to Kaiser with my best friend in the whole world who has a terminal illness. I was allowed to ask questions on her behalf by her which she acknowledged to the mediocre doctor. I'm not a doctor but I know a lot about medical matters. She's been a patient for a couple decades of Kaiser Insurance. I found total ignorance on the part of the doctor. He told us outright bullsh** explanations on several matters. It was freakin unbelievable his stories but sadly that is how she and I were treated. He also talked down to me or ignored my questions repeatedly. This has been a repeated ordeal (mediocre doctors) with her with several doctors at this location. Just because a doctor graduates medical school does not mean they graduated with A's and B's. Honestly this particular doctor was too stupid to be other than a low grade graduating doctor. Also a title of doctor was not even fitting because of his unbelievable crazy bullsh** explanations and stories! Luckily she has had one awesome doctor in the 20+ years of going to Kaiser. I must say that that doctor obviously graduated from medical school with A's. That doctor is actually an exception per my friend to all the so called doctors there she has seen. It's really amazing the quality of superior care she received in a recent emergency when rushed to Loma Linda hospital. No comparison to Kaiser....night and day difference!!! Avoid Dr. Kotiera at all costs! The man is a misogynistic piece of trash who has no business providing medical services to patients! After years of him cutting me off and never listening to my health concerns I kindly told him at my last visit that he never listens to me when I come to see him. He angrily removed his gloves, slammed them into the trash can and told me to "Go see someone else then!" When I confronted him about his unprofessional behavior he looked me in my eyes and said he never did that. Prior to his tantrum I had explained that I would like some labs run because I was consuming between 500-900 calories a day otherwise anything more and I would gain weight despite eating healthy nutritious meals & working out and I knew that was not healthy for me in the long run. He told me that was not a problem because some people have skinny genes and some people have fat genes and just looked at me. Th is just a small overview into his unprofessional conduct. No need to wipe your eyes, I gave Kaiser a 5 Star rating. Let me tell you why (I'm pretty sure you knew I was going to anyway).... Before the Redlands location was completed I frequented the San Bernardino (OMG shoot me) and Colton (OMG graze me with the bullet) offices. They were, um..... less than desirable. So when my doctor asked me if I wanted to remain in her care in Redlands I almost hugged her. Or maybe I actually did. The building is brand-spankin new. Which just makes the visit that much better. Being in a dreary building doesn't make you feel well. My doctor, is still amazing. Yay Dr. Langsdon. But the staff are informative and welcoming. If they see you with that confused look on your face, they help you. Some places pretend to not see you. The pharmacy and optomology departments are top-notch. Now, If only they could finish that never ending construction project in Fontana. Also, there is a coffee kiosk by the Pharmacy. Mmmmm the smell of coffee while waiting for your prescription. read more

This review is on my wife's behalf. So far calling for questions and setting appointments over the phone has been a pleasant experience. Check in at the actual location has been very easy. There are signs everywhere. You will not have trouble finding your designated area. The environment is very welcoming and the waiting areas are very comfortable. There is no cellphone connection, but the wifi works great. For the doctor, Dr Sunnyline Vendiola, and LVN Shirley Gomez, they provided my wife with wonderful costumer service. They actually took the time to answer her questions and explained how certain processes work. The pharmaceutical area was just as good. They have plenty of pharmacists and getting prescriptions filled was quick. Only complain is trying to make changes to information may be a hassle. We called the main number and they said to call that designated department to make the change. The designated department then says no, call the main number to make the change. That part was annoying and Kaiser needs to work on it. Other than that, Kaiser Redlands is a great place for all your medical needs. read more

I went to the optometry department in the Kaiser medical offices in Redlands today 3/13/20. I was given my glasses and when I left I realized they already had little scratches on the lenses. While I was there I ask the man who was helping me pick up my glasses if I can have a cloth and the spray Kaiser gives me every 2 years when I get my glasses and he said no they don't do that anymore but I seen a man get the same thing I asked for right before me. I don't know if it was because I'm young but that's very unprofessional!!!!! I have to now attend my college classes with scratches glasses and not even a cloth to clean it!!! ridiculous this never happened when vision was in the Colton offices! read more

My last review for this Kaiser location, particularly the pharmacy, was one of the most rabid reviews I've ever written. There were plenty of good reasons for this. Since then, my experiences there have been a bit better; so I am begrudgingly increasingly rating of them in the interest of Yelp fairness. To be honest, their pharmacy system seems to have improved. They appear to have worked out most of the kinks from their new computer system that was causing massive nightmares lines earlier in the year. Recently, my wait times and transactions at the pharmacy have been almost pleasant. Almost.. There are still some things here that don't make sense. The check-In line is one. I understand the need for a drop off line but the requirement to come here to check your medicine in after you were JUST in the doctors office and he/she JUST electronically sent you Rx to the pharmacy is mind-bogglingly idiotic. Also, it appears some of the pharmacy techs here have a problem reading or understanding written English. My Dr. writes out 90 day scripts for our medicines but we prefer 30 days due to our budget. 80 percent of the time the pharmacist or tech disregards the note I have in my record to only dispense a 30 day supply and I often have to wait for the meds to be re-issued properly. This is a waste of time and bad customer service. Also of inconvenience to customers is that the pharmacy is only open til 12:30pm on Sarurdays. Also.. Why is this a 3 story building but the stairs only go up to the 2nd floor? Either way you have to take the elevator if you have an appointment on the 3rd floor! My wife went there for a physical covered by insurance. After failing to be examined more than a cursory once over she complained. She was told that Kaiser only does a health assessment not physicals. And that each type of blood test requires separate orders for correct cost assignment, read; they charge for individual blood tests but not a full panel. Kaiser is raking in the dough under the ACA and no longer doing medicine. Now they lock my account access to my daughters medical stuff even though they have a copy of her conservatorship. They say they don't accept Power of Attorney. Idiots don't know the difference between that and Conservatorship. Having to go through their Complaint Resolution process. Not expecting a good outcome. Maybe a long drawn out issue. Or maybe someone there will actually review their legal obligations. Not holding my breath. read more

On 12/30/15, I visited my doctor in order to get my immunizations done for school. I needed the Tdap, the flu shot, and a PPD test. I also needed to get titers for Hepatitis B, varicella, and MMR. After speaking with my doctor, I was taken to a LVN who was going to administer my shots. She was also going to order the necessary titers for me. Before the LVN gave me my shots, she called the lab to order my titers. It took quite a while, but I didn't really mind because I had no other plans for that day. Afterward, she asked me which hand was my dominant hand. I told her I was left-handed. She asked this question because the Tdap causes a bit of soreness for a couple of days. The LVN ended up giving my flu shot in my right arm... so the Tdap ended up in my left arm, anyway. After giving me my shots, the LVN and I went downstairs to the lab, so that I can have my titers done. When the LVN left, the check-in clerk asked me if I had a form. Apparently, the LVN had gone upstairs with the form that I needed. The check-in clerk had to call the LVN to bring the form downstairs. I left that day after getting my blood drawn at the lab. I returned on 01/02/16 in order to have my PPD test read. After the nurse confirmed that I tested negative, she asked me if I wanted a copy of my immunization record. I told her that I would like the record. When she went to print my record, apparently, my PPD test was not ordered correctly, and was not showing up in the system. It took her about 30 minutes to rectify the problem. When I got home with my immunization record, I realized that my Tdap and flu shot were missing. On 01/05/16, I returned in order to have my Tdap and flu shot added to my immunization record. While the nurse was correcting my records, I inquired about my titer results. I learned that only my Hepatitis B titer was ordered, for which I tested non-immune. The nurse gave me the first shot of the series for Hepatitis B, then ordered my varicella and MMR titers. I was a little less than thrilled that I had to get my blood drawn a second time. When I went to the lab, I asked the phlebotomist if she could clarify what I was getting my blood drawn for. I really wanted to make sure that I was getting all my titers, and that I wouldn't wind up in a situation where I would get my blood drawn a third time. She picked up one of the labels and told me, "I don't know what this one is for." Well, that instills me with a lot of confidence... After getting my blood drawn for the second time, I talked to a RN about the Hepatitis B shot. During the conversation, she told me that the nurse who helped me earlier only ordered my varicella titer, not my MMR. She sent me back to the lab with new orders. The check-in clerk looked at the new orders and told me that I already had my blood drawn for MMR. I asked her why the RN was telling me something different, but the check-in clerk insisted that I didn't need to get the titer done. I wasn't really sure what to do at that point, so I decided to leave and wait for my results. On 01/13/16, I used the online message system to ask about my titer results. I learned that I was immune to varicella (yay), but the wrong test was ordered for my MMR. The doctor who mailed me told me that he ordered the appropriate tests for me. So I will have to get my blood drawn a THIRD time. I went to Kaiser to get my immunizations done because it's covered by my insurance. But, if I had known that all this crazy nonsense would happen to me, I would have rather shelled out the money to have my shots and titers done at my school instead. EDIT: Additionally, I had found out later that they ordered the WRONG test for the Hepatitis titer as well. They did a Hepatitis B Ag test, which tests whether or not you have a current infection for Hepatitis B. I wanted the Hepatitis B Ab test which was supposed to reveal whether or not I had immunity. Since the result of the test was negative, it simply meant I did not have a current infection. What made it worse was that the nurses had to talk with one another to figure out what the results meant, and neither one of them caught the mistake! I was given a vaccine due to the results of the incorrect test. Unbelievable! read more

I felt privileged in Indiana when it came to medical care. I had a good doctor. Actually I had quite a few good doctors in my time. No long waits. Small offices. If I didn't like that doctor I moved on to someone else, and it was part of my medical so I could do that! Than I move to Califonia and this medical plan known as Kaiser. You have to go to Kaiser unless you are being referred to someone. Long waits. Need your prescription right away? So. You can wait on that. Have a seat and than get in line when you see your name. Everything seems long. If something is really wrong with you or you think it might be, your first thought should be "hey I should go to the doctor" not "I know the left side of my body went numb, but maybe I have a cold. I really don't feel like being at Kaiser day." When I moved to Loma Linda, I found out that there is a Kaiser in Redlands (like right next to Loma Linda. Like the a sister city. Where in Loma Linda they don't have liquor stores and the only alcohol you are getting at the grocery stores are wine and beer. And the Post Office don't run on Saturday but do on Sunday. Redlands is more like what there are plenty of Liquor store for you to choose from. No way are we closing everything down on a Saturday what are you crazy!! Maybe more like the sister that lives on the wrong side of the track) Anyway, This facility is much better than the others. Sometimes there is a long weight for the meds, but usually the weight to see the doctor is painless. I would stay away from the blood test area on the Saturday. It is like the DMV. I hate that I am moving to Riverside soon. I might still drive to this location even than. At least it will be close to my job. It is clean too. If I had to complain about anything, it would be that the stair do not go up to the 3rd floor. The elevator is extremely slow. read more
