We were so relieved to finally "get" Katie, who kindly and compassionately helped guide us through the process of getting the answers we wanted and the help our grandson needed! We have found Katie to be reliable, conscientious and very thorough. She has even gone to school with our grandson and spent the day with him and his teachers, in order to get a clearer picture of the issues he faces. But more importantly, Katie is empathetic! So mad I never would have paid or taken that appointment if I knew my insurance wasn't accepted. The lovely psychiatrist decided to top off my 200mg of Zoloft with Risperidone, a fkn antipsychotic. How else was I supposed to say no? She literally asked me if I wanted to take it and seemed giddy. I literally had to research it and figured out that this combination on my brain made me dull, made my executive functioning worse, increased dissociation and suicidal ideation, and made me feel numb. If I explained it was written off as depression and teenage angst. I think the over medication and misdiagnosis led to me having only blurry memories of this time. Incompetence is what this place is.

Which was a lie. I cleared that up, yet when I get the CPS report back, she kept her own version of the story that his dad sometimes PUTS him in hot/cold showers. Another lie. She put in there that he grabbed him by the neck. Another lie. NO matter all my attempts to try and give her the story, she took the child's side. They fund the CPS child sex-trafficking, child removal, criminal organization. Don't bother coming here for help with your child unless you want to lose them. They don't listen to parents. This therapist told me (and the child) that it was wrong to expect him to do chores, and to be upset that he doesn't want to do chores just because he has some issues. That's horsecrap. My child is not disabled, and he can do chores appropriate for his age. This therapist created a victim and gave a green-light for him to do whatever he wished and we were helpless. STAY FAR AWAY!
