Contents of a spicy tofu burrito (1/21/12).
    Mike Z.

I stopped by at this truck last night when it and at least one other (Fish Out of Water) food truck were parked outside of Will's Pub. I had seen this truck several times in the past but it always turned out that other trucks that I really love also were in attendance, so I opted to stick to my guns. After the great burrito I had last night, I regret that I waited so long to give Kalbi Hau5 a shot. When I arrived, I tried to order 2 tacos - one with spicy tofu and one with tempeh - but I was told that the truck had run out of taco shells as well as tempeh. (Disappointing. I guess that the truck was busy earlier in the evening ... also, I arrived probably at around 11 p.m., so I guess it's at least somewhat understandable that I wasn't able to get what I initially wanted.) I was told by the friendly guy in the truck that he could make a small burrito for me, so I gladly accepted. I went with the spicy tofu as a filling. I forgot to ask what else goes into the burrito, but it turned out that it comes with rice and some vegetables. The spicy tofu was very good and had a Thai peanut-esque flavor. This is one of my favorite things, so having this flavor in the burrito was a most pleasant surprise. I hope to try this truck again soon. Hopefully, it'll have the tacos during my next visit. (And the tempeh, too!) The prices seemed pretty reasonable - I can't remember too many specifics, though I believe that each taco (regardless of contents) is $2 and burritos and other items are more (maybe around $6 or slightly above?). I'll have to come back to this truck a few more times before I'm ready to give it my full endorsement and a 5-star review. I may not even or ever give it the full 5, but at this point I have to give it 4 just because I really enjoyed my burrito and the guy who took my order was very helpful and pleasant. I'm sorry to see so many unfavorable reviews on here ... for the time being, I am assuming that the poor experiences had by previous/other reviewers were the exception rather than the rule. I see that some of said reviews are from around Oct. of last year, and as far as I can tell that was shortly after the truck debuted. So, maybe it needed some time to figure some stuff out and get acclimated ... I'm not sure. Still, some of the comments (Krista P. having to wait an hour for some rice - that's inexcusable on the truck's part!) scare me a little bit and now have me wondering if I will be the truck's next victim. I guess I'll just have to return at least once more and find out on my own. One last thing: I'm guessing this was the lychee lemonade I saw mentioned in a few previous reviews, but I was served a cup of something (for free; I didn't ask for it) while I waited on my burrito last night. At first, I found it to have a very peculiar taste, but it grew on me and by the time I was half-done with it I really liked it a lot. I don't know if this stuff always is complimentary or if it must be purchased, but try it out if you end up visiting this truck. It's interesting.

I loveeeee this place. It's a MUST every time we visit Orlando! There are over 50 food trucks to…read morechoose from, so no matter what you're craving, they probably have it. I had been craving fresas con crema for the longest, and I ended up getting them almost every night that weekend. My favorite was the Fresas con Crema Raffaello. I will say, though, it can get pricey, so don't expect to spend just a few bucks. The fresas con crema alone were over $18 lol. The service really depends on which truck you visit, but for the most part everyone has been friendly. The atmosphere is super chill, there's plenty of seating, and they have trash bins throughout the area. It's mostly clean, although there are a few spots that smell like straight-up trash. They also have free parking behind Denny's and paid parking right next to the food trucks. Save yourself the $6-$10 and park behind Denny's, you can put that money toward a drink instead! I seriously love this place and will always make room for it in my itinerary whenever I'm in Orlando. The fact that they're open until 2 a.m. is just another bonus!

There's free parking across the street but it's a bit of a walk and we thought it was worth paying to save us from more walking in the heat. We do like supporting local shops/owners so for that, I think it's worth it. I also liked that it was clean, they had lots of tables with umbrellas and seating. Also there were a lot of enclosed trash cans which I appreciated so it didn't smell bad and there was always one close by to throw trash away. Drinks: 4 stars $10-15 lemonade, peach lemonade, watermelon lemonade Multiple trucks were selling lemonade which was great for how hot it was. I'm glad the cups were big because they are kind of pricey. Chicho's Fusion Cuisine: 4 stars $20, #2 Fried Egg Smash Burger My friend said it was good and he'd get it again Brazilian Grill: 4 stars $24 Picanha plate I didn't plan on getting Brazilian food when we went. But when we were walking around this guy gave samples and the steak tasted great. Even after looking at a few more aisles I couldn't stop thinking about the steak so went back and ordered it. Advice for surrounding trucks to give out samples! There were quite a few similar trucks but this was the only one of this cuisine that was busy. I think it could have used a salsa or some sort of sauce on the side and I wish the salad had tomato but aside from that it was still delicious and I'd order it again. Dubai chocolate strawberries: 5 stars $13, this was the best thing we got, worth the price and super yummy. If you don't like pistachio the chocolate and strawberries would also still be fire Brappin Crabs: 1 stars... We reallllllyyyyy wanted to like this place. We literally went looking through all the food trucks for this specific food item. First off, 2 eggrolls and fries were $30! It would be one thing if they were big but they weren't and they had no business being called chicken alfredo because it tasted NOTHING like chicken alfredo. It tasted like curry with Indian or Mediterranean seasoning on it. It wasn't bad but it wasn't what you would expect. Thinking about whether or not we want to give their boil a try or if we just need to move on.
