If I could give it zero stars, I would. Nothing but problems from Kaleidoscope. The first time they accused me of stealing from them. I only pick up flowers on site from the refrigerator, I never place orders in advance. They kept sending me demand letters with an invoice to pay up. I told them I only select arrangements from the case. I've never ordered flowers in advance, so unless I physically stole from the store (which I've never done), there is no way I owe them money. The woman on the phone shouted at me and told me the burden was on me to prove I paid, and hung up on me. They then went back in their books and found my credit card payment and I was vindicated. Now, another issue arose, my mom called and place a flower order for me and they didn't quite have the flowers she wanted, and the guy she talked to was short and rude, which left a bad feeling, so she immediately called back and cancelled. They apparently didn't actually cancel the order, they billed her credit card and delivered flowers she didn't like or want. I called and as I was explaining the man on the phone yelled at me to "HOLD ON." I have never been talked to like this. I yelled back and he hung up on me. I've had it with these rude people. This is the second time they have made a very egregious billing mistake and not only are they not humble and contrite, they lash out. So poorly managed. Avoid Kaleidoscope at all costs. Dean's does a much better arrangement, and are always kind and happy to take your call. read more

While RV'ing in this part of the country we visited this business the day before Valentines Day to pick up something green and pretty while on the road. The nice young lady offered assistance and I was able to find a ready- made and perfect RV-sized little "something". The shop smelled so very fresh with the scent of flowers and greenery, and they had a huge selection of arrangements available. The plant arrangement I purchased is beautiful and fresh, with a variety of plants. When I asked if the ribbon might be replaced with a red one for Valentines, they happily took care of that for me without an up charge. My arrangement has a lovely clay pot, which made the price even more appealing, as I will be using it in my own future arrangements. Highly recommend this florist. read more

I live in Chicago and in Cherokee AL about 4 months a year. I have been doing business with Kaleidoscope since 2010. I reccomended them to friends and family in both locations especially to Chicagoland relatives when there is a situation with our southern family members. Today I called to place an order for a special Aunt. I just received an email this week from Kaleidoscope advertising a bouquet called Blush Life, but when I tried to order it they were out of stock of several of the flowers. I asked what I considered to be a reasonable question as to why they were advertising a product that they couldn't fulfill. Regardless we came up with reasonable substitutions and I placed the order. I also ordered a box of chocolates. They charged $14.99 for an unwrapped Russell Stover assortment. I suggested they might want to add an upgraded brand of candy as an option but I ordered it anyway. My total was $140.00. Within 2 minutes I received a phone call that they were REFUSING the order. The rep told me the owner said I placed too many complaints and he would no longer do business with me. I asked to speak with the owner to try to resolve the problem and boy was I in for a surprise! Joey, the owner, had no desire to resolve anything but definitely wanted to lie, insult and degrade me. He said I had complained about several orders which is simply not true. I asked for specifics and he mentioned an order from 2016. I thought about it afterwards and I did complain bc on ANY floral designs I order I specify no daisies of any kind. They sent an arrangement full of Gerbers so yes, I complained. But there was no refund, discount or replacement offered or requested. I simply wanted to make sure my account notes were accurate. Joey swears he had to replace orders due to my complaints which never, ever happened and when I asked for specifics he continued to yell, cut me off and berate me. It makes no sense to any logical person that I have been a repeat customer for more than a decade and reccomended his business repeatedly that I would have complained to the point he has literally banned me from ordering again! Lol. I admit I am specific when I order flowers and obviously that happens when I place an order, not afterwards. So one complaint in 2016 and a question about marketing a product they can't fulfill and a suggestion that they include a better quality candy option and THAT literally got me banned for life. Not to mention the Queen Bee owner Joey is definitely in the running for one of the rudest, most hostile and angry humans I have ever had the misfortune of talking to. I can't imagine working with beautiful flowers every day and having that much resentment built up that as a business owner he wouldn't hesitate to treat anyone, much less a client with such disdain. I was truly shocked. I have informed my family on our group chat about what transpired and told them to use Dean's Flowers in Florence who put together a gorgeous, modern, elegant arrangement for less money and no issues with special requests. I just happened to notice another review on Yelp that mentioned how rude Joey was with her situation and stated he called her a bi**h. I absolutely believe her after my encounter with him. He also boasted he had 5 star reviews which he does not. I strongly suggest using Dean's or any other florist for your needs. This owner is unreasonable and unprincipled. Any success he has had in a small, rural area has gone to his ego and created a monstrous freak who has no appreciation for his customers and no problem letting loose and actually insulting them. Not that I would ever spend another dollar there but being banned for not loving Russell Stover is going to make for an amusing story at parties! Please spend your money elsewhere. Kaleidoscope was the best option I could find years ago so I became a faithful yet unappreciated customer. After seeing Dean's modern and classy arrangements I realized my loyalty was misplaced. Kaleidoscope arrangements are very 1980s in style and selection but with 2023 prices. You can do better with your money and send a bouquet that will impress and awe the recipient instead of a basic arrangement that they will certainly appreciate but not actually love. Plus if you have any reason to complain hold on to your hat bc Joey's diatribe will leave you psychologically damaged. I feel terrible for his "significant other." I can't imagine how he would behave if they didn't love his new meatloaf recipe. We supported his business for many years but I strongly urge you to take a pass and use a florist that will actually appreciate the opportunity to serve you. read more

Kaleidoscope ruined my Mother's Day !!!!!!! My son ordered flowers for me through Teleflora, who sent the order to Kaleidoscope. When my flowers didn't arrive, I called Kaleidoscope and was told that they "refused the order" from Teleflora. I was told that because they were only sent $49.95 from Teleflora to do the order, and they have a "$50 minimum ", that they would not be doing my flowers! The owner was extremely hostile, rude, condescending, argumentative, called me a bi*@#, TOLD ME THAT MY SON (who is a full-time college student with only a part-time job) IS "CHEAP", and that my son should not have used Teleflora! Really? What kind of business owner speaks to people in this manner? CALLING MY SON CHEAP? I am in shock that a business owner would say such things. Today is Mother's Day, and I have no flowers from my son, (WHO I CAN'T BE WITH TODAY BECAUSE HE IS 9 HOURS AWAY AT SCHOOL) All because of Kaleidoscope refusing the order over 5 cents!!!! 5 CENTS!!!! When it's an important occasion, do not trust Kaleidoscope with your order!!!!! I would hate for any other mother out there to go through something like this on Mother's Day. read more

HORRIBLE service and unwilling to work with customers. My friend spent a lot of money using this Florist for their wedding. They chose flowers that needed to be specially ordered for the bride's bouquet. When the flowers arrived a few hours before the wedding, the flowers were NOT correct and a completely different color. The groom called the florist about the mistake and was told another bouquet would have to be purchased because they "don't work for free" even though the mistake was the florist's fault. The groom was extremely frustrated but paid $150 to have another bouquet made since this mistake was brought to their attention HOURS before the wedding. The bouquet showed up and was HALF the size of the first incorrect bouquet even though it was the same price. The florist did not express any sympathy what so ever and was absolutely not willing to work with the groom/bride on their wedding day. Will NEVER use or recommend this florist. read more

I ordered my flowers a week in advance, give them my credit card number and all. My order was the last one delivered on the delivery day. This has happened two different times. Both times it arrived after 5:30 p.m. I feel that is unacceptable after ordering it a week in advance. I won't be ordering from them again after this time. read more

Extremely helpful!! Had to pick up arrangement for a funeral. They had a great selection of premade arrangements, with good prices.
