I felt this both as a hiring manager and also when it came time to find a new opportunity myself, so more or less wrote off the entire industry as a hustle. Grady Levkov is *not* that type of firm at all and the fact that I'm compelled to write a review for a recruiting firm hopefully demonstrates what an outlier I feel they are in the industry. From my first conversation with Josh Levkov, which lasted over an hour (approximately 59 minutes longer than most conversations with recruiters), I knew that something different was going on. He took the time to actually digest my background, ask a lot of questions about my goals, and, most importantly, not try to sell me on a specific opportunity or agenda. Once I agreed to meet a very elite and targeted group of companies, I quickly learned that the executives there also had a positive bias towards Grady Levkov, presumably because of successful placements in the past (including themselves). Ultimately, I ended up with a perfect opportunity and am 100% convinced that it would not have have happened if I went with another recruiting firm or, worse, a random assortment of cold-calling recruiters. Throughout the process, whether my interviews went well or poorly, I was treated with a lot of respect and honesty. There was constant communication each step of the way from both Josh and his team, and even after my offer was signed, follow-up calls to ensure that everyone was happy with the fit. The experience was such a positive one that I will now *only* use Grady Levkov in the future when conducting my own candidate searches. To me, they are a "throwback" type of firm, embodying the idea that good people need good people to find good people. Hopefully this review will save others the time of looking elsewhere.

Vanguard was one of them. I don't know/or didn't know if this place was for people looking for full time and temp work or just temp work. I just got a nice call from a guy named Brian and came in the next day, filled out an application (although I was confused by that, since I wasn't applying for a job with Vanguard) and had a nice discussion with said Brian about what I was looking for. Fine so far. Then, he proceeded to present me with so much paperwork, I thought I was being arrested or signing up for sex reassignment surgery. I didn't actually think much of it but didn't have the time to sit there and go through it, as I had another appointment that I was already late for. When Brian was nice enough to e-mail me the stuff to fill out, I looked at it carefully. Why do they need to have my DIRECT DEPOSIT INFORMATION???? I want a FULL TIME job. I DO NOT WORK FOR VANGUARD. This is really ambiguous and a bit decieving. There is absolutely no reason why they should have any of that information unless you are tempting through them. Just a warning.
