I have never met a more caring person than Dr. Kwan. I had a quintuple bypass and he explained every step of the procedure to me before anything happened. Dr. Kwan performed my mother in 2019. She developed an infection and he attempted to deny her readmit to the hospital as it would be considered a rapid readmit. Once she was admitted by the ED staff, Dr. Kwan performed a procedure bedside without explaining it to my mother and without any anesthetic. He is truly the most narcissistic, sadistic physician i've ever encountered after nearly 30 years in the medical field. Stay far away. read more

Dr Kwan performed a high risk, unnecessary lung procedure on my mother. Released her from CVICU while she was having issues. She died from a massive gastrointestinal bleed the morning after. When I went to his office to get copies of her medical records, there was only 3 pages of notes. Nothing about the surgery complications or her death. read more

beware of doctors who perform high risk, low reward procedures for patients who would otherwise be told not to undergo a procedure becuase of multiple red flags. get a second, if not a third, opinion before doing anything else. don't end up learning the hard way as we did... read more
