Once he cut my toe and said if it got infected he would have to operate. He has a palsy in his head and his head shakes a lot poor guy. In my mind I said you're not doing any surgery on my feet. I had to pay the full $165 charge on my credit card, even though I told her I knew they were in network and a specialist copay for me is $50. She lied and claimed to have called my insurance. I later called my insurance, who told me it should have been $50 and to call Dr. Kales office for a refund. I did, 3 weeks ago, and they assured me they would bill my insurance and issue me a refund in 3-6 weeks!!! Called today, and they have not even processed it yet! Billing manager said she would "look into it."!! At this point, I am disputing it with my credit card company to get my money back. This doctor just wants you to keep coming back to get as much money as possible out of you. Ended up going to an orthopedic specialist and am having surgery to correct my problem. Dr. Kales wanted me to get shoe inserts and a bunch of other stuff to string me along and take my money. I'm filing a grievance with the BBB. DO NOT GO HERE!! Should be 0 UPDATE: After about 5 months of disputing this with the insurance company and credit card, and filing a Better Business Bureau complaint, Dr. Kales so "graciously" refunded my $110 overcharge they should not have taken from me in the first place. I spent countless time on the phone over this matter, and their letter accompanying the check offered NO APOLOGY, but rather acted as though they had done the correct thing. WRONG. Instead, what they did was commit INSURANCE FRAUD. Again, stay away from this place at ALL COSTS!!

I guess more cash patients would ultimately create a need for fewer office workers. Anyway, they never called back. I went to another doctor who took me in today.

I hate to go from a 5 star rating to a 2 star rating. I still think Dr. Jordan is the best podiatrist around. The problem is this. At the beginning of each year you have to pay the yearly Medicare deductible. This year it is $109. I went in for my appointment and was informed of that. The only problem is I could only afford a little more than half of that which would be $60. They said I must pay $75. I thought paying $9 more than half of what I owe would be okay but they would not let me see the doctor. I'm in the process of paying a large amount of money to a dental office every month and I have to watch every penny. They don't seem to understand that. So I will wait till next month to see Dr Jordan. The woman who gave me the hard time and the attitude was Cindy F.

The office staff got me right in after I described what was going on and that I was in absolute agony. Dr Kales took one look at my foot and told me I had a septic infection and I needed to go to the emergency room. He did take a culture and an Xray which confirmed I was septic. He took the time to document exactly what he wanted the emergency department to do when I got there. If it hadn't been for Dr Kales experience and knowledge I just don't know what the outcome would have been. I would trust him and not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. I am forever grateful to Dr Kales.
