After talking with Sales Person and finding out the correct numbers, pricing, financing etc. I then drove an hour and a half to purchase the truck to find out that it was a DEMO TRUCK with 5,000 miles on It! I was beyond upset that I was LIED too and wasted my time. To make it even WORSE I spoke with a Manager that had the nerve to insult my intelligence by stating that "People LOVE Demo Trucks because by driving them it works out the KINKS"! SERIOUSLY?? Just unbelievable that they wanted me to by a USED TRUCK with 5,000 miles on it for NEW Vehicle MSRP! I told the Manager I was extremely upset they wasted my time , he then asked what I would offer on the DEMO and I offered what ALL Demos are DISCOUNTED for and he told me " NO and that he did t believe I was coming to buy today". I couldn't believe my ears when he said that, because I drove 90 miles to get there with 80 year old mother so I could drive the BRAND NEW TRUCK I thought I was getting home. This Dealership needs to take training course on Honesty, Integrity, Humility and Customer Centricity!

To start with, we scheduled a test drive, show up and the car we scheduled is on the way to another dealership. Wait around 4 hours for it to be brought back, test drive it, go to talk numbers and they try to go up $1000 on the advertised price (said they "forgot" what it was before they transferred it). Then tried to low ball us $3000 on our trade in, said "nobody uses Kelly Blue Book values" with a KBB "instant cash offer" poster on the table right next to us. Thankfully we noticed the tail light assembly was out and it was past due for an oil change and got them to agree to fix that before we closed on the deal. It then took them almost 2 months to pay off the trade in and send me a refund for the payments I had to make on the car I no longer had. Now after almost 5 months and dozens of phone calls, I still don't have my title. Finally managed to get ahold of the owner, and he says it "slipped through the cracks" and they still have to pay the auction/wholesaler to get the title released. So, long story short, they sold us a car they hadn't even paid for themselves, and have given us the run-around for 5 months. I understand things get missed sometimes, but after 30-40 phone calls and a DMV dealer complaint doesn't fix the issue, it's because they just don't care about their customers once they get their money.

This dealership falsely advertises the price of their cars. I found a car advertised on GMC.com…read moreon Friday August 2, 2024. The link took me to Winding Chevrolet where they had a 2023 GMC Acadia AT4 advertised for $41,995.00. The ad stated the MSRP of $51,590 with a dealer discount of $7,595.00. The information disclaimer for the $7,595 stated Dealer Discount applied to everyone. This left a sales price of $43,995, below which stated -$2,000.00. The disclaimer for the $2,000 purchase allowance stated "cash offer from Winding Chevrolet GMC applies to this new 2023 GMC Acadia effective Aug 01, 2024 through Sept 03, 2024. On Saturday, August 3rd, my husband and I drove 2 1/2 hours from Aiken, SC with the plan of purchasing the vehicle. During the test drive, the sales agent stated the online advertising is aggressive and the price would not be as advertised. He went on to say that is how they get people into the dealership to look at cars and everyone does it. When asked the price of the vehicle, we were told they could give us $200.00 off the sticker price of $51,590. We immediately left the dealership knowing we had been a victim of false advertising. This morning, the car is advertised at $42,220. Please see attached screen shots of the advertising. The salesman called me this morning and asked if we were interested in the car. I asked him if the price had changed and he indicated it had not. This type of advertising is misleading and deceptive and should not go unpunished.

This place was ridiculous. Firstly, they advertise themselves as rv sales. They only sell…read moreairstreams with maybe one non airstream on the lot. Why they wouldnt say that I do not know. It is nothing to be ashamed of. I called and asked for pictures to be emailed of a particular model. 24 hours and plenty of excuses later there were no pictures. I decided to swing by anyways. The sales woman if you could call her that. Pointed to 3 models and told us to go look at them. She said she would be out 5 minutes later. 30 minutes later she never came out. The airstreams she had pointed out were over priced and needed a lot of renovation. I wasnt expecting the taj mahal but this place cant even be professional.
