These people are some of the kindest and most knowledgeable people you will ever meet. I brought my Airstream to them because of a noise I was experiencing and they had it fixed in no time.
Not only did they fix it properly and quickly, but they took the time to explain the problem, what they did to fix it, and how to help prevent it from happening in the future. Their charges were very reasonable, and they have experience in working on Airstreams. I will not take my Airstream anywhere else from now on.
I can't speak to the quality of their Airstreams that they have for sale, though it appeared that they did have a number of them available. Another review for Don Mar complained about the lack of non-Airstream travel trailers available...well, I'm sorry, but you should have realized what you were getting into before driving a couple of hours from Raleigh to go check it out. They are very clearly an Airstream repair/sales facility.
In the other reviewers defense, I will say that it is sometimes hard getting them on the phone the first time you call, however, I've never had to wait long before they either called me back or I called them back and was able to reach them. I chalk that up to them being busy, which is a good thing in my mind.
Bottom line for me is that if you have an Airstream and want it repaired correctly by knowledgable people, bring it to Don Mar. If you are looking to buy an Airstream, check with Don Mar and see that they have. If you have a Jayco or some other brand, you're probably just as good to take it to Camping World or any of the other thousands of RV repair places. read more
