Last week, I almost cried when my daughter told me that I'm her closest person in the world, given I was clearly her most-hated person less than a year ago! I remember one time I asked to speak with the therapist because it was already very difficult to schedule an appointment. We agreed she would call me on a certain day at 9:00 a.m., and when she called, she sounded half asleep, clearly in bed, with a drowsy voice and yawning. She did not respond to messages or emails either. This agency is a complete mess. I highly recommend looking for a place where the therapist is a licensed LCSW, since they can even diagnose when appropriate. At this agency, it seems like the therapists are just trainees. I am now taking my son to another place where the therapist is an LCSW, and she has offered to work closely with the school and with his behavioral specialist provider. I am so happy to have finally found the place my son truly needed.
