We needed a house full of furniture and had been in and out of a number of furniture stores. Then we wandered into Kane's. Our salesman, Jimmy, was perfect at leaving us alone but being there to handle questions. The store was well laid out and we ended up almost totally furnishing our house because there were so many good choices and great pricing. Jimmy was great at helping us organize our choices and getting the best prices. We arranged delivery and got the exact date we needed. After all we basically filled the truck with our purchase! The delivery men arrived on time and professionally handled the install of bedroom, living room and dining room furniture. As it turns out the twin bed mattress box springs were too high. The delivery men told us how to go about getting low profile box springs. We called our salesperson Jimmy and it was totally no problem. We love all the furniture we purchased. It all looks like good quality so I am optimistic about it lasting us. I'm sorry other people had negative experiences- our experience has been 100% positive. We have been in and out of a number of other furniture stores and I think we are somewhat picky. read more

From start to finish this was the worst experience with purchase of furniture. From delivery of the wrong item to a back order status that was identified after the sale was completed, to additional weeks of wait time. On delivery day for the correct item they were 2 hours late AND the item that was to have been a power recliner sofa was broken and with no power. And the original price was incorrect and an additional cost was added for " power".Corporate manager and operations manager although educated and what appeared customer service oriented failed to follow through multiple times. Purchased a set of bed from this company Feb. 2nd. 2025. The headboard was broken when delivered (SKU# 4595 16502 and 4475 16503). Without a headboard the bed has been useless. the initial replacement unit was wrong upon arrival and was not delivered. with several un-successful attempt to arrange delivery, the company decide to abandon me a customer. Purchased a powered sectional from Kane's in Naples, Florida 08/17/2024. Purchase price was over 6k total. We also purchased the extended warranty for all pieces that if you listen to the manager covers about everything you can imagine. We called for service about 10 months into ownership because one sectional piece isn't working properly as it will not return to full upright position and the leg lift when used is heavily slanted. A tech came out and stated unit needed replacement and never tried to fix anything. Told me Kane's would call me in a few days. After a week I called them and was told techs notes said everything works fine so nothing was being done. I advised this is not what tech told me and they agreed to send a different tech in a few days to check it. The next tech was more knowledgable and tried to fix the issue or to determine what was exactly wrong. He tightened up a connection that helped but advised he found a bent piece of metal that was part of the leg lift assembly that was the root cause and causing the unit to sit crooked when reclined and the top not return to full upright position when sitting back upright. He advised the bent piece of metal needed replacing and a couple of plastic washers that showed wear from the issue. He stated he would write up his report and I would hear from someone but that his experience told him it was a 50/50 chance they would try to claim normal wear and tear and not want to cover the issue though he agreed bent pieces of metal doesn't sound normal to most people. He advised he would write up his report the best he could to support having the parts ordered so he could fix it. I got a phone call a few days later from someone telling me the techs notes show nothing wrong with that piece that would be covered. When I asked why I was told it was normal wear and tear. The people working in the stores are very nice as they want to sell you product and will say just about anything to make the sale but once you have an actual issue and want to have something fixed this is when you see true colors of the company's customer service beliefs. read more

We walk in yesterday (January 19) the sales guy tells us that everything is 10% off. He then says everything was 20% off yesterday (January 18) and 5% off tomorrow (January 20). So basically what I'm thinking to myself is that if I were to buy any furniture from Kane's right now I'd be getting ripped off because I could have paid less yesterday for the same pieces. Hell I'd rather pay $$triple for a chair if it means not having to deal with imbeciles who follow you around like a virus, asking stupid ass questions and repeating themselves like broken records. Between the annoying sales people eyeing you like a piece of meat as you walk around the store... and the absurd sales pitches they give you, it's enough to make you want to vomit. Do not purchase from this store. Ordered living room, bedroom, mattress and entrance piece from them in March. Entrance piece never delivered - broken and will take another 4-6 weeks to order. Delivered the wrong couch - everything about it, color and style was wrong. They took it back after a week (October 7) and I AM STILL WAITING FOR REFUND WHICH WAS PROMISED IN 3 Days. Called this morning and was told that the refund was processed on October 18 and will take up to a week to hit my account. I purchased furniture, roughly a whole living room, on August 14th. The reason I bought this furniture from Kane's is because the salesman, Robert Zitricki, told me he would have it to me in early October. Robert even wrote in the comments of my order, "DELIVERY LATE SEPT TO EARLY OCT" Well I called the 888 number for Kane's yesterday and was told I would not get my furniture until roughly halfway through November. Now on Robert's word I got rid of some of my living room furniture in anticipation of new furniture when I moved. I have two chairs in my living room. I called the store to speak to Robert and was told he was not in so I asked to speak to a manager. Curtis was the manager that answered the call and very poorly at that. I asked Curtis why his employees are promising unreasonable expectations. Curtis said he didn't know why. I then said unless I can get my furniture sooner I am going to have to come in and get my money back. Curtis didn't argue just said he could email me the refund slip. I was already on my way there and Curtis heard my turn signal on so he said he would see me when I got there. Curtis was no where around when I came in, I think he might've been afraid of an upset customer. Regardless, the bottom line is that Kane's as a company does not stand behind the promises made by its employees when selling you furniture and the salesman will say what it takes to make the sale even if it is untrue. I spoke to Robert Zitricki because he said he could get me my furniture in a reasonable amount of time. It is unreasonable to wait nearly 3 months for furniture. I went to City Furniture last night and they said they could have me my new furniture on October 19th, yesterday was Oct 7th. Curtis the manager takes no responsibility for his employees mistakes and it did not seem to me that Curtis realized that his employees are a reflection of him and his management. I left Kane's a facebook message yesterday and they said someone would be looking into this and getting back to me, they asked a few more details, but I have not heard from anyone since. At the Clearwater store, we had an effective and proactive seller called Stephanie; many times she answered my calls asking for the time when my kitchen table will arrive. because I asked her, she arranged for particular furniture movers, to bring it 20 days before the day estimated. (we needed to pay $130 and Kane's will return us the $80 we already paid to them) Stephanie has a fresh personality, nice manners, and good taste these qualities make it lighter the trip to an enormous place full of furniture. Stephanie was resourceful, and she cares, she attended us immediately when the marble of our dining table came cracked, she answered my text in minutes and arranged the call for the customer services, which called me, in less than 30 min to come a verify the crack on the marble. read more

What a horrible experience from beginning to NO end. Tried to order a desk online which wouldn't go through. I had to then order though the store in Naples salesman Michael Edwards. He quoted me a higher price on the item than shown online. After much wasted time to get them to honor their online price (Sep 2020) they relented took my credit credit info and charged me. It is now Nov 5 and have not heard a single thing about my order that was supposed to be in the store 3rd week of Oct. After just waiting on the phone for 30-60 minutes to speak to the sales rep they said he was busy and couldn't talk. Purchased recliner loveseat and the switch stopped working shortly after warranty expired. Technician said I needed to order it and I called the store and placed the order. Months later I find that the order was never placed because I was required to go to the store to place the order even though the phone Rep took all the info and said it would be ordered! When I asked to replace a backordered loveseat recliner with an in stock recliner and ottoman ( which should have been same price as leather loveseat) they charged me more because I broke up one of the 5 room sets. Sold me a floor model ottoman and within 1 week it was pilling up and I needed to by a throw to cover and protect it from future pilling. Bought a (presumably) leather sofa and chair at the end of the season in 2019 in Florida at Kanes Naples stores. Didnt come down South with the Covid in 2020. Just got here at the end of Dec 2021.I have used this furniture for a total of maybe six times and already the,( now I know, FAKE leather) has peeled off on the head rest and the chair seat is sinking. The quality of the furniture being sold today at these stores is absolutely unacceptable. To purchase a warranty for what should be something of quality and at least give you some longevity is just a joke and another way to gouge the customer. I'm reviewing Kane's employee that helped me today rather than the furniture as I did not buy today. I walked in and a gentleman Mike Edwards greeted me. I explained that I may need furniture in a month or it may be three months and that I was looking online and just wanted to see the stuff in person and when the time comes I'd prefer to buy in store as opposed to online. He never got pushy with me into buying, he answered all of my questions that I couldn't find online and guided me through the store despite knowing I would not be buying today. He was fantastic, very helpful and not pushy which is nice to find in a commissioned sales assiociatr somewhere. I give him 5 stars and Kane's overall a 4 only because I'm still so worried about the quality of the furniture not lasting much longer than half a year but that's neither here nor there as I do not own anything from here yet. read more

They should stand behind there products...I've purchased an outdoor furniture set and in about 18 months the seam on one of the cushions separated. I called they sent out a service tech and they decided it was only covered for 1 yr, I am a part time Florida resident about 3 months a year, so i guess every 6 months I should buy a new cover!!!!! It was obvious the cover was not sewn properly I would think after spending several thousand dollars they would stand behind a seat cover, guess I'm wrong.....will never buy from them again if you can't stand behind what you sell I'll shop elsewhere. read more

We bought a winter home in a gated community and needed furniture before we moved down so the first thing we asked if it could be delivered without us being in Florida so it could be setup for us when we arrived. They told us yes its no problem they do it all the time.Well now we get a phone call telling us a month from moving that they cant deliver without a signature upon receipt. Very very disappointed!! I ordered a fireplace console in middle of December, at that time they said it is backed ordered but it will be delivered by 20th January. However I awaited till 22nd January and called by my self to check the status. And lady answered we will deliver by 30th January awaited again till 30th and called. That day they said it's not scheduled to deliver for you and on phone they schedule for 5th of feb. However after all awaiting delivery guy knocked my door today to deliver we were excited for getting it finally. And guy went to truck in 5 minutes he came back and said "we have a problem boss" I was like what now. He said they sent broken console from both sides. And this is back ordered!! Hmmmm... My husband I bought our home in April of 2016. We purchased most of our furniture from the Kane's in Naples. The lifetime warranty is what lured us to purchase there. I had some issues with mattress leather sofa club chairs and swivel rockers. My first phone call left me on hold 30 minutes . I was able to get service man to come out on November 9. With a promise I would hear back within 48 hours. Never heard back . Called again 1 week ago. Was told store manager would call. Never heard back. My furniture had been used approximately 6 months out of the entire time we have had. Mattress has indents. Club chair squeaks , sofa lost padding on arms. Swivel chairs lost padding immediately. i have just had the worst experience at Kane's Furniture in Naples, FL. I will never step foot in that store again, I purchased two bedroom sets in April and was told by the sale associate that when I had a firm closing date to arrange delivery. On 6/20, I arranged delivery for 7/14. One set was back ordered and couldn't be scheduled until after 7/01. Second visit on 7/5 resulted in no delivery until 7/21 for the second set. The sale associate, John B was going to contact corporate and call me on 7/22 to confirm a 7/14 delivery date for both sets. Fast forward to 7/09 at 10:30 still waiting for a return call. Called the store 3 times and was disconnected while on hold each time. 4th call I left a message for John B. At 2:15 I call again. Manager (Leo) is called, the phone is taken off hold and I can hear him bitching about me. He gets on the phone to explain that my whole order is rescheduled to the 21st because of my unconfirmed closing date. It is company policy. I said what if I hadn't told you? He said you might not close, could find out I'm upside down in my mortgage. I am still trying to understand this ridiculousness as to what one delivery date would be versus another if I didn't close. What I do know is I have ever received such poor customer service from a store. I cancelled my entire order and will expect a full refund. I purchased several pieces of furniture in the store recently because I like their product, and the lifetime warranties. I recently had an issue with a rug I wanted to purchase but was waiting to catch a sale. When I brought the issue to the attention of the general manager; Gregg Craven, the issue was quickly and fairly resolved with professionalism and even a "sorry for your troubles". It is very hard today to have good customer service or to even receive a response from a company . If you have a good team of customer service most issues can be resolved. Cheap grade furniture that should be sold at a flea market!! I purchased 2 recliners 1 of which was missing 2 nuts and bolts on the swivel. The delivery men said that they would notify the store to send out a technician to fix the recliner which never happened. I fixed it myself!! Now a year and a few months later with very very little use, my couch cushions are coming apart at the seams and it is definately caused by manufacturers defects in the sewing!! The store says that by the picture i sent them it dont look like a defect and it is not under any warranty!!! Stay away!!! This was the worst experience I have ever had with a furniture company. I have had three pieces out deliveries for one set of ordered furniture because of damaged pieces arriving and back orders they didn't tell us about until after we paid. On the third delivery, they again delivered a damaged piece of furniture. When the delivery man called dispatch, a man named Chris answered. Chris explained that it was "not his problem" and I would have to call the store and deal with it myself. The very nice delivery man apologized profusely for the horrible treatment by his dispatcher. When I called the store I was told they had no more of that piece, even though we had waited two months for this broken one. The manager promised to call me by the end of the day, but I never received a call back. Not that day or the next day or the next. I finally had to drive to the store and they had no answers and didn't even remember the situation. Now they promise a call by the weekend. I am not holding my breath. read more

I purchased two sets of bunk beds in March 2021. I noticed one of the steps on one of the ladders hade a crack in it . I called Kane's to have a service technician come out to look at it. The technician showed up and determined it was indeed cracked and also a safety issue. They put an order in to replace the ladder. That was December lo 2021. I called in January for an update, was told it would be in February, calling again was told in would be in March, called again was told looking at April 1st, called again on April 4th, now being told April 24, and will be dslivered to my home. Asked to speak to the service manager, never heard from a person named Mike. Think twice about purchasing anything from Kane's Furnitur. I asked to speak to Mike at least 4 times. Terrible customer service i bought several thousand dollars of furniture from their Bonita store including outside furniture. When I had a problem with the cushion cover on one chair I called the store for help. After being told they could do nothing for me I asked if they could assist me in buying a new cover thru the manufacture. They finally agreed to get me a price, the price they told me was $565.00 I thought that a little steep for a cushion cover not even the entire cushion. After several discussions with the store manager, who by the way is useless, I called the manufacture direct. The manufacture told me I would have to deal directly with the store. After I explained my attempt to work thru the store they agreed to sell me the cover for set for $174.00 plus shipping a far cry from $565.00, guess the manufacturer understands customer service. There are several furniture stores in the Naples area I have no need to ever deal with them again. JUST A WARNING THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS. Joe S. read more
